#47 Iowa (3-1) at #14 Indiana (3-0) (-5)

Horoszowski get a sack on the first play from scrimmage, which leads to a punt which we field at midfield. Wittich run for 20 yds, and Vallery hits Blades for 27 yds before finding Wittich with a 5-yd TD pass. 7-0, Indiana! On their next drive they remain trapped in their own half, giving us good field positions and a short field to work with. Wittich run a couple of times before Vallery throws a 14-yd TD pass to Bertram. 14-0, Indiana! We get our third scoring drive in a row when Vallery again completes a TD pass to Bertram, from the 27-yd yd line. 21-0, Indiana, at 14:52 in the second quarter.

The Hawkeyes get some yardage after that and manage to punt it to our 9-yd line. We respond with a 91-yd drive, and Vallery gets his fourth TD pass on a 9-yd pass to Wittich. 28-0, Indiana! Iowa manage to get in a FG and three points 10 seconds before halftime, 28-3. We have 14 first downs, 122 rushing yds and 137 passing yds. Iowa has 4 first downs, -3 rushing yds and 71 passing yds. We open the second half with an 80-yd drive where Blades catch a 11-yd TD pass from Vallery. 35-3, Indiana at 10:02 in the third quarter. Then Niklos get a 21-yd TD run on our next drive. 42-3 to us, ho-hum.

Iowa has switched QBs and string together a good drive where they score their first TD - a 7-yd TD pass. 42-10, Indiana, at 4:39 in the 3rd. At the beginning of the 4th quarter we go up to 45-10 on a 22-yd FG by Cash. Kitchens recover an Iowa fumble on their 22-yd line which lead to another FG, 48-10. Vallery's still in the game and get his sixth TD pass today on a fabulous 49-yd bomb to Blades. 55-10 at 8:37 in the fourth quarter. We run out the clock during an uneventful and time-consuming drive in the final 5 minutes.
