I have assumed that the match would be a No Contest, with Joe running in to prevent a win for anybody (or to give it a cheap finish). In the context of the current storyline, that actually makes some sense.
I'm having more trouble figuring out how they're going to get the #1 contender into the match when they tape tomorrow night.
-- Figuring that they'll settle the 3-way dance for the 11/9 episode.
-- Logically the 11/16 episode would then be Winner vs Abyss.
-- But if Angle debuts in-ring on 11/16 then they'll either have to wrestle twice on 11/9 or twice on 11/16.
I think I actually have more problem with creating the wrestle-twice-in- one-night (really episode) handicap situation than with the notion of Angle vs #1 contender.
