Week 5 Training Results

After a rather lengthy dry spell, our training program has really started producing results over the last couple of weeks. For the second week in a row, two of our players improved their defensive ratings.

Chuck Scales

Jersey #2

24 years old, solid (7) form, healthy

A sympathetic guy who is calm and honest.
Has poor (3) experience and poor (3) leadership abilities.

Nationality: American
Assessed Value: $217,000
Wage: $1,490 per week

Stamina: Weak (4)
Playmaking: Poor (3)
Winger: Weak (4)
Scoring: Inadequate (5)
Goaltending: Disastrous (1)
Passing: Wretched (2)
Defending: Formidable (9)
Set Pieces: Poor (3)

If you follow this dynasty report, then you know that Chuck has been with us since the beginning, and has been our starting sweeper since day one. Apparently he was rather tired of hearing about Cameron McDonald and Keith Stubbs competing for his job, and he is the first Seaman to achieve a formidable rating in anything.

Christian Kvam

Jersey #24

19 years old, inadequate (5) form, healthy.

A pleasant guy who is balanced and honest.
Has disastrous (1) experience and weak (4) leadership abilities.

Specialty: Head

Nationality: Norwegian
Assessed Value: $63,000
Wage: $924 per week

Stamina: Poor (3)
Playmaking: Poor (3)
Winger: Passable (6)
Scoring: Wretched (2)
Goaltending: Disastrous (1)
Passing: Weak (4)
Defending: Solid (7)
Set Pieces: Weak (4)

Hot on the heels of Mattias Leier’s improvement to solid defense, Christian Kvam has made the jump as well. Leier and Kvam are our two best wingback trainees, and there certainly appears to be a good deal of competition between the two.

We actually had a third player improve in defense this week, but that player was striker Forrest “Gump” Tobias. His improvement to weak (4) defending doesn’t make a lick of difference, naturally.

Form Changes

4 players improved in form this week (including one starter, midfielder Charlie Bautista).
13 players saw their form remain the same.
5 players dropped a level in form this week (including one starter, midfielder Niklas Ivarsson).

The team’s form pretty much held level this week, and most of the shifts that did occur were contained to the reserves.

In The Zone

Wingback Arlen Lucas continues to play some of the best soccer of his young career, and earns top-form honors this week. This is his second consecutive week in excellent (8) form.

Form Dogs

Team captain Johannes Henriksson, along with defensive trainees Cameron McDonald and Zarpas Lerma are in weak (4) form this week. Johannes continues to be the primary area of concern, as the Swedish striker just can’t seem to remove his head from his rectum. His play has been in sharp decline since the beginning of the season, and all we can do is hope that he finds his stride again soon.

Value

Average Player Value: $126,727 (+$3,318)
Total Player Value (22 players): $2,788,000

Assessed Value Milestones

None

Up Next: This week’s youth squad product and the weekly financial update. Stay tuned!
