Admittedly I was introduced to the Glaswegian accent by Jock Wallace: there were many times as a 5-6 year old that I was kinda bemused by the big scary Scotsman who mumbled incoherently This was a man who when confronted by customs for having an extra bottle of whisky, simply necked it to remove the problem
