Oh yeah - I'd much rather listen to the English announcers, because they know the game, and they know the quirks and the language (I hate when they call it the "field" instead of "pitch", or the use of "speed" as opposed to "pace", and so forth) and the history and club details - and they never, ever use the bloody word "soccer."
