As someone earlier said I tried many times with the demos and could never get into those great games due to the rather poor UI IMHO. Like many others, I didn't pick up and play a lot of FM and EHM because the interface was confusing. When I first got to use OOTP, I made it a point to learn how to use it because I like baseball. After a couple of days, I was used to it. I am thinking about giving EHM a shot now that I know this interface.
If the UI keeps you from playing these games, it is a mistake, IMO.
