But the thing that makes NO sense whatsoever is that I like pizza. It is the only thing I'll eat that has cheese on it. It's probably related to some deep seated childhood trauma I suffered or something.

I am the same way, but I was sensitive to dairy products (lactose intolerant since I was 24 or so). Only way I can eat pizza is a 3+ topping pizza or sausage and pepperoni.
