I'm taking more heat (at home, too) for the Taylor comments than just about any I've ever made. I did study music for awhile, but it was a long time ago. I have what's known as perfect pitch. I felt nearly every note was just slightly off. Maybe it's his style. He'll certainly be around for a long time, so there will be many other chances to pick up on it. I could be wrong on this.
I don't count attractiveness in my evaluation. Otherwise Stevie would never be last among the women - she's very cute. I don't know why I liked Kellie's performance so much. I am not a country fan. Maybe there's a purity of tone that seems like it will translate to the type of rock that more shows off a voice. Maybe I'll be disappointed with her down the road.
