The Resistance - Werewolf type game
 

Anybody ever heard of this or played it. My buddies and I have a guys weekend in northern lower Michigan, where we usually play werewolf. We are thinking of trying this one this year and wondered if any of you have played it.

I own it and have played it several times. It is a ton of fun!

I really like it and think it's more fun to play in person than werewolf.

Also, an unlikely side note. Out of the 8 times I have played it, I have never been a spy.

i played it at danny's place, it's awesome. and i think i was a spy like % times out of 6 I believe. or 4 out of 5, something like that

I was a spy once out of about 6 games and wound up losing because the other spy chose to pass a mission when failing it would have won it for us. :(

In addition to recommending The Resistance, another good werewolf like game is Shadow Hunters. It works more like the current When Worlds Collide game where you attack other players to deal damage to them rather than voting for a lynch, one they reach their hit point limit. There are two sides trying to defeat each other, Shadows and Hunters, and neutral characters with independent win conditions.
