How is What Glorida Allred Does Not Extortion?
I don't understand this. Saw another story involving her today.
Gloria Allred to David Boreanaz: Pay Up or Else! | TMZ.com She did this with Tiger and I believe others. How is this not blackmail? She calls the guy up, says that the girl will go public without a big payday. I'm just trying to understand what is blackmail/extortion these days. |
Sounds like extortion to me.
Then again, what kind of dumb slut gets herself into a "relationship" where the best outcome is the guy pays her to shut up and go away? Oh, wait, any guy on this board paying alimony can probably answer that question for me. :D |

At least Boreanaz (and Letterman) have shown how to deal with this. If you're going to cheat, be prepared to come clean. It's the only way you can beat the blackmailer.

Who the fuck is David Boreanaz? Is he on Bones or some other show I could give a flying fuck about?
|
Hell of a guess for someone who doesn't give a fuck about him!
|
that sucks, I knew his wife pretty well in LA and she was a nice person.
|
unfortunately it doesn't appear he is

Most known for being on Buffy, and then Angel, but currently on Bones. |

I'm not sure you can really say he was "most known" for Buffy at this point. Certainly FAR more people watch Bones than Buffy. |
I've never watched it, but Bones looks like a more professionally written/produced, far tamer, CSI version of Silk Stalkings. The chick even looks a heck of a lot like Mitzi Kapture. Male/female partners sparring with each other, sexual tension bubbling underneath the relationship, etc. Every time I see a commercial and see that chick, I think of Silk Stalkings.
Who's who? |
Women are allowed to extort in America, it is called love.

Of course, the other option is not to cheat on your wife. |

Or not get married. |

Someone who's only "skill" is possession of girl parts, but doesn't want to admit to herself that she's a prostitute. |

That is certainly an option. Not ready to be committed? Don't get married. It certainly doesn't provide an excuse for guys who do decide to get married and then cheat. It seems like people are trying to present the Tiger-Letterman-Boreanaz guys as victims. "The only mistake they made was getting married!" That's false. Nobody says you have to get married. But once you do, you're expected to remain faithful. End of story. These women who are attempting to extort the cheaters for money are no better, of course. But the only victim is the person being cheated on. |
