Three days....

No smokey. Ready to hurt someone. Where is a Fight Club when you need it?

I'm at about 3 weeks now. I'm pretty sure I'm not a nice person anymore.

Stay strong guys...

Imagine, just for a moment if you will, what I'd be like if I ever tried to quit ;)

Greyroofoo 04-17-2010 03:43 PM

I haven't smoked in three and I don't feel anything ;)

I try to go without smokey...but can't go more than a few weeks without firing up the VCR

I used non-tobacco cigs for the first week to get me over the hump after that it really wasnt too bad and 2 and a half years later I rarely if ever get the urge and the urge isnt very strong anymore. Definitely stay strong though it is worth it I am so much more active and I just feel better overall. You dont realize how much of a toll it takes on you until you stop.

I'm trying the logenzes. They help, but are a bit of a pain (takes thirty minutes to dissolve, and you aren't supposed to swallow much). Still, they have probably helped keep my family alive, so that's good.

Good luck, guys. I wish there was something to do to help you, because I would do it in an instant. I watched my dad quit (and will forever respect him more than ever for it) and watched my mom try and fail many times (while her dad and sister get lung cancer and die). I grew up with a blue fog over my head and hated it every day.

I'm pulling for you guys.
