Is A-1 steak sauce the greatest condiment ever?
I use this stuff on everything and today discovered it even goes well with Tuna. Anyone else agree or am I just sick?

Gotta go with mustard.
|
Gotta go with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce.

This. |
Tabasco
|
Salsa, not seltzer.
|
The answer to the thread title is "Yes, it is."
|
Yes.
|
Mayo.
|
A-1 Bold and Spicy.
|
Gotta go with Trojans.

Brown or yellow? |
No. It's not even good.

I have a gallon in the garage fridge. Mmmm.. |
Anything originally designed to ruin good steaks or force people to stomach bad steaks should automatically be disqualified.
|
Ranch
|
That is all. |

While I may not have a gallon of this, I would have to give a +1. Frank's Red Hot is KING |

This is a close second for me...... Use this to baste grilled wings.....Deeeeelicious!!! |

Sweet Baby Baby Ray's High Fructose Corn Syrup Sauce? No. BBQ sauce should never have that crap. The only non-local , non-made-by-me sauce I'll buy is Stubbs. The best local stuff is this: http://www.weathers1897.com - I've had a lot of sauce, and made a lot of my own, but that stuff is awesome. |

Ahh sweet baby ray. Also Tabasco, and Tony's make just about anything better (although really slap ya mamma is better than Tony's but probably can't find it outside of south louisiana - and really those are seasonings i guess) |

Classic yellow mustard. |

If dressing is included in this, Hidden Valley's Spicy Ranch is great stuff. |

I'm with you Schmidty, I can't eat the high fructose stuff. They have such an unnatural thick texture for the most part, and the taste isn't as good. BBQ sauce should be a fairly easy natural thing, and the first ingredient (or the second, third, ect) shouldn't be manufactured sweet syrup. The good news is there are a lot more regional and national BBQ sauces that don't use the stuff now. |

Amen to that. My wife bought some off brand crap that I threw in the trash can. |
Peter Luger's Steak Sauce is much better and I think is available in many grocery stores.
Frank's is great for the more widely available hot sauces. I can't stand Tabasco...it has absolutely no flavor in my opinion. And "salsa, not seltzer" is definitely the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the title. |

This. |
gotta go with fuck no
|
Love A1 myself BUT Branston Pickle rocks and HP Brown Sauce is essential to my well being also ... oh and proper English mustard ....
|
Quote:
This. And my choice would be honey mustard, but that can vary greatly depending on the brand. |
Quote:
Thissed. The only condiment I ever use is salt, and that is rare. |
Quote:
Coleman's! |
Quote:
Winner. Quote:
I was about to give you shit for considering salt a condiment, as it definitely wouldn't qualify under my own definition, but dictionary.com fully disagrees with me so my apologies. Quote:
And if we are extending to that, similarly the spicy ranch dressing that comes with Outback Cheese Fries is the greatest thing ever, as I've attested to on this board before. |
Quote:
I can get behind you first statement, but not the second. |
Quote:
I wanted to try that stuff, but no f*cking way am I going to pay $11.50 to have them ship it to me. |
I used to use A1 quite a bit. Then I learned how to cook.
I just make a spice mix of salt/pepper/granulated garlic and use that on almost all of my meats. Works great. |
Sriracha
|
I'm with the mustard group.
I have never actually had A-1 |
Quote:
Dang, that sucks. I can imagine it would be around that much though, since I sent something to you before. Maybe you'll get another present!!!! |
Quote:
This statement needs more love. |
Quote:
I'd like a present... |
Hunt's ketchup
|
Quote:
As much of a crack addict fan I am of A-1, this is vastly true. Any good steak needs nothing on it. I have been known to use it on burgers, but I've been using Jack Daniel's Master Blend BBQ sauce and that's amazing to me on a properly done burger. |

Try mindful meditation!!!! |

I reject that present. |
I like several (in no particular order):
A1 Sweet Baby Ray's Sandwich Spread (horseradish sauce that's great on tons of things) Famous Dave's BBQ sauce Spice Mustard HP Brown Sauce Tiger Sauce And almost any sauce Nando's has. |
A-1
Sriracha Mustard (yellow or brown spicy) And you're set. |
Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
Banana Ketchup (Beats me what my deal is with Asian condiments.) Crystal Hot Sauce Extra Hot (regular crystal isn't spicy enough) Montgomery Inn BBQ Sauce |
Quote:
Thread Winner, hands down. I use it everyday, and it is amazing. |

Thats pretty much straight up trolling, and I approve. (of the troll, not ketchup, in general) |
