i'll get the rosters and a google spreadsheet up this afternoon/evening.

Radii 03-18-2010 01:58 PM

sooner took byu's jimmer fredette with the 3rd from last pick in the draft... 37 points in a win!

Radii 03-18-2010 04:30 PM

Here's the scoring spreadsheet. I copied and pasted over a previous year's sheet so please doublecheck your team to make sure I didn't make any nasty cut and past errors! Also if anyone has any trouble viewing it let me know.

Welcome to Google Docs

Radii 03-18-2010 05:18 PM

46 from samhan and clemente for me, looks like the rest of my guys go tomorrow. Good start!

dacman 03-18-2010 05:47 PM

And on the flip side, 4 pts and done for "The Goat."

Radii 03-19-2010 02:30 PM

wade moore 03-19-2010 03:51 PM

Started good for me, too. 28 from Crawford and 20 from Leuer.

I still have three players tonight--and they were my top three picks (Scheyer, Vasquez, Rautins).

Eaglesfan27 03-19-2010 08:25 PM

If Georgia Tech can hang on here, I'll have a good chance to have all 6 guys still alive with a few players having big opening games.

stevew 03-19-2010 08:58 PM

Really need Houston to win here. Or at least Coleman to get 30plus

Radii 03-20-2010 12:45 AM

Updated through round 1. I highly recommend everyone doublecheck their scores! The eyes do glaze over a bit reading all the boxscores and filling out the spreadsheet :)

wade moore 03-20-2010 06:20 AM

My score isn't great, but at least I have 5 guys left. Had several guys score well below their average.

stevew 03-20-2010 02:31 PM

Scottie Reynolds goes 4-26 for the tourney. I guess my hex is still in effect this tourney.

Radii 03-20-2010 05:21 PM

gratuitous update after the first 3 games today, I was getting antsy to go type in Samhan's 32 :D

ugh....if he had just lasted two more picks. Great pick, radii

jbergey22 03-20-2010 07:15 PM

And with the Kansas loss I am finished.

wade moore 03-20-2010 08:05 PM

Dunn's 26 at least makes me a little more respectable...

stevew 03-20-2010 08:23 PM

I'm probably done already. Fuckin Reynolds and the lobos today. I think Purdue and K state are in the same region too.

Radii 03-21-2010 12:04 AM

updated through the end of today. kansas and new mexico hurt lots heh.

wade moore 03-21-2010 06:55 AM

I need some survival by my guys today ;). No way I can make noise if I lose a couple of guys.

wade moore 03-21-2010 03:44 PM

Pretty solid Sunday afternoon for my crew - very curious to see the new totals.

Radii 03-21-2010 06:07 PM

updated w/ just the last 3 games to go. A&M/purdue and xavier/pitt will be big for a few people.

Radii 03-21-2010 06:08 PM

sloan is having a shit game for A&M, but if they win I could take a nice lead and 5 players into the next weekend.

Go Xavier! :)

(I have Crawford; he's been amazing)

P.S. WTH, does Scheyer just not show up for the tournament or what? 1-11 from the field? From the #1 overall choice? This is what I get for picking a freakin' Duke player.

I thought you were crazy for not taking a Kansas player #1 overall. Good thing I didn't have one of the top picks heh.

The Kansas squad were too community minded, passing the ball around and getting everyone shots. I wanted ball dominance, which I thought I would get with Scheyer. ;)

Stupid Scheyer.

stevew 03-21-2010 06:50 PM

Purdue keeps me alive!

wade moore 03-21-2010 07:05 PM

Gonna be tough to beat radii at this point.

Ye of little faith. I have as many players left now, and if my quick math is right, I have more points. ;)

I'll give it my best shot.

Scores after round 2

Chief Rum 231, 4 left
Radii 227, 4 left
Eaglesfan27 197, 3 left
stevew, 186 3 left
wade moore 184, 4 left
jbergey22 175, 2 left

henry296 134, 2 left
Karlifornia 132, 3 left
dacman 123, 4 left

Radii 03-21-2010 07:30 PM

Story of this year's game I think is the fact that we have so many 10+ seed players that we actually selected advancing into the second weekend. Pondexter, Wittman, Thomas and Samham. I wonder if we've ever had two go this far before...

wade moore 03-21-2010 07:32 PM

I guess I'm not in horrible shape, but I would need just the right upsets to knock out other guys and keep mine going.

sooner333 03-21-2010 08:55 PM

I actually only have two guys left. So, I'm in even worse shape.

henry296 03-21-2010 09:34 PM

I may have 2 left, but one of them may have just tore his achilles tendon.

Karlifornia 03-21-2010 10:42 PM

After winning last year, I really blew it this year. Just awful.

Oops ;).

Radii 03-25-2010 11:15 PM

This Xavier/K-State duel may well decide who wins(assuming wade or EF27 don't sneak up on me and CR that is). I've got Clemente, CR has Crawford.

Radii 03-25-2010 11:38 PM

scores updated through tonight's games

Karlifornia 03-26-2010 02:19 AM

Gordon Hayward scored 17, not 9 for me.

fixed!

Eaglesfan27 03-26-2010 06:14 PM

Go Buford!

stevew 03-26-2010 09:11 PM

Need purdue to come up big tonight. A purdue/KSU championship is the only scenerio where I can win.

Radii 03-27-2010 01:45 AM

updated through the end of the sweet 16, doublecheck your scores!

Chief Rum 303, 1 left
Radii 284, 2 left
wade moore 260, 2 left
stevew 255, 1 left
Eaglesfan27 248, 2 left
sooner333 201, 1 left
jbergey22 201, 2 left
Karlifornia 180, 3 left
dacman 160, 1 left
henry296 142, 2 left

Radii 03-27-2010 01:50 AM

CR with Scheyer

I have Clemente and Butler

Wade has Ebanks and Dunn

very bad day for me with Ohio State losing and Diebler putting up 3 for them. I really didn't think Tennessee had a chance in hell and getting 3 guys to the elite 8 would have made me a huge favorite. Both of my guys go tomorrow, whee.

Wade still has a shot if Baylor can get to the finals The fact that he and I both have a guy from WVU makes it tough, but not impossible.

I'm not dead yet!

;)

Yeah - my hopes and dreams lie at the feet of Baylor - which isn't so bad because I desperately need Kentucky to lose soon to win my bracket pool ;).

stevew 03-27-2010 09:00 AM

welp, it was fun.

Can't wait till next year(Scottie Reynolds, GRRRRRR)
