Current Business

The win today has me looking at autopromotion into IV unless an upset happens. At worst I'm looking
at a qualifier and since I want to get into IV, I need to shore up my midfield a little so I have a
chance to actually win next season. With that being said, allow me to introduce our newest member:

Petter Andersson
23 years, excellent form, healthy

A controversial person who is tranquil and dishonest.
Has wretched experience and poor leadership abilities.

Speciality: Quick

Nationality: Sverige
Assessed value: $326,000
Wage: $1,716 including 20%
Owner: Tomahawks
Warnings: 0

Stamina: passable Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: formidable Passing: weak
Winger: poor Defending: weak
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: poor

He was bought for $650,000 and should help our midfield quite a bit. His stamina is a tad low but
that will be taken care of before next season so I'm not worried about it.

Outlook

FC Bonafide @ Tomahawks
-- Previous Meetings: 3
----- Aggregrate: 1-1-1 Tomahawks outscored FC Bonafide 10-8

This match should decide who wins V.220 as we both sit tied for 1st 7pts up on 3rd. If we win, we'll
most likely win the series barring any ungodly upsets. A tie would be devastating as we're losing the
goal differential thus far. I think we'll win as we have the better overall team and our boys are in
better form than theirs. Another thing going for us is whoever had homefield has never lost. We managed
to tie Bonafide @ their place earlier this season but neither has lost @ home.

Prediction: Tomahawks win 3-2
Final: Tomahawks win 5-0

I didn't expect to win this easily as it appears Bonafide might have PICed. They're in good contention to
win their friendly cup and I think they might've sacrificed league to take it.

Match Report

Due to an all-day shower, 25000 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at The Launchpad.

Tomahawks tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. They fielded:
Goddard - Carrillo, Tidwell, Austin - Heinrichs, Rybarczyk, Marino, Piña - Hooks, Holtz, Pedersen.

Bonafide started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup:
Searle - Hedrick, Foust, Wyatt - Brady, Kidd, Cheek, Colvin, Manez - Putnam, Newsome.

Winston Austin received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack
of experience, in the 5:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. Bonafide had several good
opportunities to take the lead, especially in the 6:th minute when Joseph Putnam came up alone against
Steven Goddard who managed a block. A questionable penalty in the 14:th minute gave the home side the
lead 1 - 0. The visitors goaltender didn´t stand a chance as Wayne Hooks knocked the ball home. Tomahawks
put themselves up 2 - 0 when Larry Holtz broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box
behind him. In the games 29:th minute Bonafide´s Wade Cheek fell dramatically just outside the penalty
area. However, the referee booked Wade Cheek for taking a dive. A bit later, a magnificent combination
in the middle resulted in Tomahawks´s Michal Rybarczyk putting the lead up to 3 - 0. Wes Foust showed
great fighting spirit and didn´t seem to mind the rain at all. The teams went for a half-time break at
3 - 0. Tomahawks held the ball, with a clear 57 percent possession rate.

Bonafide had a magnificent opportunity in the 55:th minute as Ed Wyatt hit the ball hard at the edge of
the penatly box. However, the shot went wide. Michal Rybarczyk increased Tomahawkss lead to 4 - 0 by
putting a header away on a hooked ball from the right. Tomahawks put themselves up 5 - 0 when Alberto
Piña broke through on the right, leaving the entire defensive box behind him. Tomahawks held the ball,
with a clear 61 percent possession rate.

The most dominating Tomahawks player was without a doubt Michal Rybarczyk. Kurtmartin Heinrichs on the
other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Bonafide player was Wes Foust. However, Alex Searle made
a disastrous appearance. The match ends 5 - 0.

Thoughts

This was by far the most important match we'll have all season. I thought we'd win, but not like this.
It appears Bonafide didn't have their heart in it as if they didn't want to try to win. I'll take it
any way I can. I expected a higher midfield since we got a passable on the road playing normal. Again,
no biggie as I chalk it up to form of 2 key midfield players.

With this win, we move into sole possesion of 1st and look to win the title unless HT turns on us and
we get upset. I don't forsee that happening.

Match Report

A scorching day at TOYOTA-TEAM Arena, where 5371 spectators were in place for today´s match.

TOYOTA-TEAM started off with a 5-4-1 lineup. Lineup:
Topalovic - Bonilla, Pajkovic, Holden, Gutiérrez, Hodalska - Dudaric, Jagic, Tumbas, Lucic - Blanco.

Tomahawks had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. Lineup:
Barrett - Wade, Noir, Conklin - Pitts, Baggio, Lenssen, Torres - Martínez, Rousseeuw, Sumner.

TOYOTA-TEAM clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could, using their excellent talent for it.
After a fine move down the middle Raúl Gutiérrez nearly gave the home side one up in the 5:th minute.
The finishing shot went just wide, though. Some beautiful plays on the left side of the field resulted
in a 6:th minute goal by Ivan Pajkovic for TOYOTA-TEAM, putting them ahead 1 - 0. Bob Barrett was caught
napping a bit later as Juan Blanco lifted a ball over him after a free kick, but the ball hit the bar,
rebounding into the keepers arms. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Tomahawks´s Silvio
Rousseeuw got himself booked. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, Tomahawks´s Igor Noir got
himself booked. Halftime score was 1 - 0. TOYOTA-TEAM held the ball, with a clear 57 percent possession
rate.

When Raúl Gutiérrez left the game because of a back injury in the 56:th minute TOYOTA-TEAM, lacking
replacements, had to keep on playing decimated. Hanibal Lucic has the wonderful ability to create
chances out of thin air. In the63rd minute he drove a bicycle kick straight past the keeper, resulting
in the 2 - 0 goal. Víctor Bonilla enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over
and over again. A speedy charge from the left side of the field put TOYOTA-TEAM lead up with 3 - 0.
Pavle Tumbas finished that one off competently, firing from an acute angle. David Hodalska received
some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the
87:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. In the 89:th minute TOYOTA-TEAM put themselves
up 4 - 0. The visitors defenders lost the ball to Juan Blanco coming up from the left, who proceeded
to cooly round the goaltender and knock the ball home. TOYOTA-TEAM held the ball, with a clear 60
percent possession rate.

TOYOTA-TEAM´s best player was Ivan Pajkovic. Juan Blanco on the other hand, had a terrible day. The
most dominating Tomahawks player was without a doubt Silvio Rousseeuw. Nathaniel Conklin on the other
hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 0.

Notes

not a bad update. to expected scoring pops and overall starter form is pretty good with the
exception of Baggio, our best offensive middie, dropping to weak. He'll be replaced with one
of our backups which shouldn't hurt as his replacement is solid PM in solid form. The only
downside is he only has passable stamina.

You know, I used to think I had the best formatted dynasty out there (even if I am still a week behind...). That is definately no longer the case. Excellent work, -Panther.

thanks, I had one of my 'anal' spells and got sick and tired of the 'CODE' tags and to me everything looked blah. So I went with good ole fashioned HTML :). Actually, I studied your dynasty to help determine how I wanted to implement and which formatting to us. I checked quite a few and your had the best appeal to me. So, I'll give you 1/2 credit :)

Don't worry, I'll start stealing stuff back from you in no time. Just ask DK or NevStar or anyone else I've stolen dynasty components from ;)

template for this dynasty is here. WARNING!!! It's a very rough template. It will take some time to get used to it.

USE NOTEPAD TO VIEW IT. SET THE FONT TO COURIER NEW!!!

IMAGES MUST BE HOSTED BY YOU! If you're not sure how to get
your match kit images, ask and I'll do it.

There's 3 images per match kit, 6 total. shirt, shorts, socks all need
to be spliced together. So if you want to have yours, let me know and I'll do it and post here. you can download and host for your dynasty...

Save it to your hard drive as ".txt". vBulletin gives things php extensions which can throw a wrench in the works.

Ok I want some advice!!! I'm having a 'spell' about my dynasty. I want to add more depth and detail such as including ALL my matches, season's transaction history, etc...

My dilemma however, doing this will mean I go further than the '1 page dynasty' I had initially designed for. Thus requiring me to rewrite it but with only few changes to current info.

The main differences if I do will be:

Detailed account of every game
Season Transaction history
Complete V.220 breakdown & comparison
Actual personality of my players

So, what do you think I should do? leave it as is? roll the ball with the new changes and rewrite? You guys read it, what would you like to see more of?

Who cares if its more then 1 page.... i want depth dammit!!!!!! :)

I wouldn't worry about the 1 page thing at all. If you have content, people will look at it (all the dynasties which are popular for viewing are quite long). As someone who's been doing this for a bit, the longer you make it, the tougher it will become to get up the want to do a dynasty report each week- it takes work to write those long ones and it's hard to get the motivation sometimes.

Yea, I've decided to leave it as-is for this season. I may get more detailed next season, but I want to give myself time to determine if I still want to do this or if it becomes more like 'work'.

I really hope you decide to keep this dynasty going next season and do expand it to add more depth! I really enjoy reading the hattrick dynasty reports. I have been tossing around the idea of doing my own dynasty report- once you get into the flow of it and have everything setup how many hours do you normally put in a week working on the dynasty?

actually, right now I don't put in 'too' much time. I check daily for daily updates to see if TS changed, Injuries healed, supporter gains, etc... Other than that, it takes me anywhere from 30-40 minutes on match days, training, and weekly updates.

So on average, I'd say I spend about 4 hours a week updating the dynasty. I spend more time trying to come up with a new format for a lot of it. I've been playing with tables trying to get a good 'Sports Site Box Score/Preview' view going on :)

What I want most is to make it more visual. when I get into reading these, I get to a point where I feel like I'm reading transcripts instead of dynasties. With tables, I can do side by side comparisons, lineups, etc... I'm also somewhat of a 'neat & ordered' freak lol

But unless something goes wrong, I'll be continuing my dynasty. Everything in it I have as a template so I just edit and paste into the forum.

By next season, hopefully I'll have a very appealing and visual dynasty instead of the usual text based 'transcripted' reports.
