FBCB 2006-07 Season Files
Player file for the 2006-07 season.
>Link removed due to error< This includes the text file (.csv) and the player file (.fpf) and uses player stats up to and including January 9. You can update the stats as the season progresses. There may be issues with positions. The source I used had player positions only listed as F or G ( not PF, SF, PG or SG ). Also some players were listed as F-C or G-F and the import only uses one position so I used the first one mentioned. There are extra teams that have not been included ( like Kennesaw State ) because I have not added them in my game. Feel free to add them yourself if you like. The import only uses a maximum of 15 players per team so, where teams had more than 15, I chose the top 15 based on minutes played. This was a sh_tload of work so there is every chance that there may be mistakes. For example, names were split by looking for the first space. A name like Billie Joe Smith became FirstName - Billie LastName - Joe Smith. I will not be making corrections to the file but you are welcome to make the changes yourself. |
Awesome. Looking forward to testing this out.
Thanks! |

I found some of the files I created back in the day for FBCB. The original website I made with other mods has stuffed up due to some MySQL error and I don't know how to fix it.
Anyway, I have bundled up the 2002-03, 2004-05 and 2006-07 seasons into one zip file and uploaded again. I tried out one season and it seemed to work OK in the new version. You need to put the files into the datafiles folder. Mine looks like C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\GDS\Fast Break College Basketball 2010\datafiles Here is the file http://web.aanet.com.au/21C/pafiledb/uploads/FBCB.zip |
word , I will probably use these again!

Things should work the same in the new version. There's definitely some work to be done on the attributes generated when using player stats though.

I think this is where the ability to export ratings, then edit them and import them back in would come in handy :)
