Poker Text Sim Idea
 

I was just sitting around playing poker earlier and I came up with this crazy idea for a game. Obviously, there would be no point in playing cards. You can go on the Internet and do that anytime, anywhere. My idea was you would have to sign players and act as their agents. You would also bankroll them in tournaments and cash games. You, as their agent/supplier, would share in the profits. You would continue to add more players and build up to more prestigious tournaments f your players won money.

It is a probably a crazy idea. Does anyone see it flying?

I'd love to have an offline poker game with a career mode in it. You'd be the one playing the poker, but you'd start as an amateur and work your way up. The AI in poker games is generally lacking, so we're "stuck" with online play for now.

Have you ever heard of the "Jump to Conclusions" floormat?

LOL. Nice.

Maybe the game could have a rudimentary 2D engine so you could actually play poker with Xs and Os. Oh wait....that's an idea for FOF.
