At the end of the night Diesel went in the ring and said that 'he quit'. I'm not sure what that means for him in the WWF. |

The referee's hand slapped the mat for the three-count, and Hogan's victory was sealed. **Winner and Still WCW World Heavyweight Champion: Hulk Hogan** In this monumental clash, Hogan and Flair showcased their signature moves and strategies. The power of Hogan's strikes and the precision of Flair's technical maneuvers intertwined, creating a dynamic and intense battle that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. Looks like Jimmy Snuka teased that he might be headed back to WWF as a legend but at the last minute swerved and signed with NJPW Bret Hart & Shawn Michaels put on an award-contender match at their PPV. Golddust broke his back and may be out a year if not his career. and in ECW Sandman is getting 'over' I check emails the next day and Meng asks to win matches for the next 2 months and not lose and I'm fine with that since he didn't say who he had to wrestle. And Randy Savage asked to be in a Main Event and I oblige that request as well. Kevin Sullivan only has one appearance left as a wrestler so I need to get him someone to manage to take on the Giant in their feud. Also, Kamala is out of appearances so his defeat of Savage is quite the accomplishment for the legend. |

Lackluster Nitro Debut for Alex Wright
Alex Wright made his Monday Nitro debut against veteran Jeff Farmer, but the two failed to generate much excitement in a slow-paced affair. While Wright showed some athleticism, the match never kicked into high gear. The opening minutes saw Wright utilize basic arm drags and arm bars that didn't impress the crowd. Farmer looked a step behind, struggling to find his timing. "Wright showing some good fundamentals here, but we'd like to see more energy from both guys," said announcer Tony Schiavone, trying to remain upbeat. Farmer took control with a fallaway slam, but his ensuing leglock attempts brought the match to a crawl. Wright finally created some space with an enziguri kick to get the crowd involved. The action stayed pedestrian as Wright set up his German suplex to put away Farmer. "Certainly some room for improvement, but a win is a win," analyst Bobby Heenan said diplomatically. In the end, Wright got the victory but didn't showcase his advertised dynamic athleticism. As for Farmer, ring rust was apparent. While not a standout debut, Alex Wright remains a solid prospect for WCW's cruiserweight division. With more seasoning, he has the potential to become a mainstay. This match was more of a feeling-out process against the veteran Farmer. 1/2 * |
Sullivan Aligns with Rogers to Seek Revenge
After a disappointing loss to The Giant at Halloween Havoc, Kevin Sullivan came out to announce his new alliance with Big Bubba Rogers. Sullivan stated he hand-picked Rogers as the next monster to do his bidding in the Dungeon of Doom's battle against the Giant. "You betrayed me, Giant! Banishing me from my own family," ranted an intense Sullivan. "But soon you will regret crossing The Taskmaster. With Bubba Rogers under my guidance, we will make you pay for your treachery." The ominous Bubba Rogers said nothing, letting his sheer size and intimidating glare speak volumes. At 6'7" and 330 pounds, Big Bubba looks more than capable of inflicting tremendous damage. Sullivan made it clear Rogers would be instrumental in exacting revenge and reclaiming his rightful place atop the Dungeon of Doom faction. After mentoring the Giant to superstardom, Sullivan hopes to now groom Big Bubba into WCW's next unstoppable monster. This new alliance spells bad news for the Giant, who continues asserting himself in the main event scene. With Sullivan's devious mind plotting against him, the Giant's days as Dungeon of Doom's alpha monster may be numbered. Big Bubba is primed to become Kevin Sullivan's weapon of destruction. 4.5* |
Flair and Orndorff Assault Hogan Post-Havoc
Still gloating after his title defense over Ric Flair at Halloween Havoc, Hulk Hogan was interrupted by an irate Nature Boy. Flair made it clear he wasn't finished with Hogan, vowing to reclaim the World Championship. "You got lucky once, Hulkster. But your days as champion are numbered," Flair warned. As the two icons traded verbal jabs in the ring, Paul Orndorff suddenly blindsided Hogan from behind. Orndorff joined Flair in laying a vicious beating on the champ, still feeling the effects from his war with Flair the night before. "Look at you now, Hogan! Not so mighty without backup," Flair mocked as he rained punches on a prone Hogan. Orndorff added a devastating piledriver that left Hogan helpless. The assault ended with Flair locking Hogan in the figure-four as payback. Flair and Orndorff stood tall over the fallen champion, sending a message that this rivalry was far from over. "It's my time now, Hogan! I'm gonna make your life a living hell until that title's around my waist," Flair promised. Hulk Hogan was left writhing in pain, the wind knocked out of his sails. With Orndorff aiding Flair's vengeance on this night, it seems Hogan will need eyes in the back of his head. The champ survived Halloween Havoc, but Flair and now Orndorff have him on high alert as WW3 approaches. 4.25* |
Savage Unleashes Scathing Tirade, Embraces Dark Side
In a shocking backstage interview, Randy "Macho Man" Savage went on an intense tirade before making his way to the ring to fully unleash on the fans and other WCW wrestlers. "For too long, I've been held back in WCW. For too long, I've been disrespected by the fans and the washed-up has-beens in the locker room," Savage seethed, his voice dripping with contempt. As he marched through the backstage area, Savage's rhetoric became more hostile. "All you phony fans out there can stick it! You don't deserve the Macho Man anymore. And all the punks giving me the stink eye back here - you're all on notice!" Arriving ringside, Savage grabbed the mic and channeled his inner rage. "Cut my music, I got something to say! Randy Savage is no longer here to please all you mindless sheep. I'm looking out for number one from here on out!" Pacing the ring like a caged lion, the Macho Man viciously turned on the fans. "For two years I busted my butt trying to entertain each and every one of you. And how do you repay me? With apathy and disrespect! Well no more, do you hear me? NO MORE!" "And Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Sting, Lex Luger - all you so-called top guys who never gave me my proper due? Consider this a declaration of war. Because the Macho Man is comin' for ALL of you!" His tirade finally over, Savage symbolically threw down his trademark sunglasses and crushed them under his boots. The crowd booed mercilessly as the once-beloved icon made his shocking heel turn official. "Ohhh yeah...the Madness is taking over! You ain't seen nothing yet!" Savage snarled in conclusion. The Macho Man is unleashed, and WCW will never be the same. 3.75* |
Bagwell Squeaks By Kanyon in Lackluster Affair
Current WCW Tag Team Champion Marcus Bagwell took on Chris Kanyon in singles action, but the two failed to put on an exciting match for the fans. While Bagwell got his hand raised, it was a largely forgettable contest. The bigger, stronger Bagwell controlled the sluggish action early on by overpowering Kanyon. But Bagwell's offense looked sloppy and uninspired, relying on basic choking and clubbing forearms. "Not sure what Bagwell is going for here, but it certainly isn't pretty," commented Tony Schiavone on Bagwell's aimless attack. Kanyon finally created an opening with a desperation dropkick, then quickened the pace with a flurry of high impact moves. But just when it seemed Kanyon was rallying, Bagwell cut him off with a lackadaisical powerslam. In the end, Bagwell clumsily hit his fisherman suplex finisher to put Kanyon away. "What an ugly-looking suplex by Bagwell, but it got the job done I guess," Bobby Heenan observed. The champion prevailed, but both competitors came up short in terms of execution and intensity. On a more positive note, Chris Kanyon flashed potential despite the loss. As for Bagwell, he has room for improvement even as one half of the tag team titles. A wholly unremarkable affair all around. 1.75* |
DDP and Badd Brawl After Decisive Havoc Match Even after Diamond Dallas Page's decisive victory over Johnny B. Badd at Halloween Havoc, their rivalry continued boiling over in an intense backstage brawl. "I beat you fair and square, Badd! Admit I'm the better wrestler," shouted an emboldened DDP. "You just got lucky, DDP. I want a rematch to prove you can't hang with me," Badd fired back. The war of words soon turned physical, as DDP got the upper hand with a cheap shot on Badd. But Badd rallied back, seeking payback despite the clean loss. Punches flew and furniture got smashed as officials struggled to separate the out-of-control rivals. DDP drew blood on Badd with a camera shot, but Badd responded by planting DDP through a table with a Diamond Cutter. Security finally restored order before things got worse. But clearly Badd was still bitter about the result at Havoc. "Any time, any place! I'll prove I'm the real master of the Diamond Cutter," DDP yelled as he got dragged away. While DDP scored an undisputed win at Halloween Havoc, Badd appears hungry for revenge after this latest melee. With tensions higher than ever, their grudge match may be far from settled. 4.25* |
Hogan and Flair Go To War in Epic Nitro Championship Rematch
Following their brutal encounter at Halloween Havoc, Hulk Hogan put his WCW Championship on the line again just weeks later against a vengeance-seeking Ric Flair on Nitro. Their epic rematch was another instant classic between two icons at the height of their storied rivalry. A furious Flair aggressively took it to the champion in the opening minutes, trying to ground Hogan with a barrage of chop blocks and figure-four leglocks to the knees. But Hogan, still feeling the effects of their war at Havoc, powered through the pain and fought back with thunderous shoulder blocks and clotheslines. "Hogan is showing that refusal to stay down after the battle these two had at Havoc," noted Tony Schiavone on commentary. "The champion just will not yield!" A rake of the eyes allowed the crafty Flair to take back over. He began methodically wearing down Hogan, using every dirty trick imaginable. When Flair exposed a turnbuckle ring and drove Hogan's head into the steel, it busted Hogan open and put the champ on rubber legs. Sensing gold within his grasp, Flair callously punished the reeling Hogan with a series of rolling vertical suplexes that elicited "Woooos" from the crowd. "Flair has drawn first blood and is dissecting the champion! We could be looking at a new World Champion here tonight," Schiavone declared. But in a testament to his bottomless resolve, Hogan somehow absorbed Flair's relentless assault and began battling back. With Jimmy Hart cheering him on ringside, Hogan appeared to be Hulking up as he shook off Flair's attacks. A series of big right hands from the champion backed Flair into the corner. In a stunning reversal of fortunes, Hogan exacted revenge for the earlier turnbuckle spot by whipping Flair face-first into the exposed steel. "Vintage Hogan! He's been busted open, battered relentlessly, but now the Hulkster turns the tables!" shouted an incredulous Bobby Heenan. After knocking Flair wobbly with the big boot, Hogan sealed the deal when he dropped the Leg Drop to put Flair away for the 1-2-3. Somehow, someway, the champion's hand was raised. Hogan had successfully retained his title again over Flair in an absolutely grueling affair that left both men battered and exhausted. "Incredible effort once again from these two legends, but Hogan digs deep to gut out the victory! The Hulkster's reign continues!" Schiavone proclaimed. While a thirst for vengeance consumed him after Havoc, Ric Flair ultimately fell short again in this physical Nitro rematch. But Hulk Hogan proved why he is the man by surviving another gritty title defense against his arch-rival. Their storied rivalry wrote another unforgettable chapter tonight! 4.75* |

The crowd erupts into a mix of cheers and jeers as Flair climbs into the ring, his face exuding arrogance. Flair grabs the microphone and the arena's noise settles into a simmering anticipation. He raises the championship high above his head. "Whooo! Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on what was once the most prestigious title in all of professional wrestling!" Flair's voice rings out, filled with a mix of glee and contempt. "But now? Now, it's just a piece of leather and metal, tainted by a champion who's not worthy of calling himself the best. A champion who pales in comparison to the Nature Boy!" The crowd's reaction is divided, with some fans voicing their agreement while others loudly voice their disapproval. Flair continues, "Hogan, you call yourself a champion? You call yourself the face of WCW? You're a disgrace to this belt and everything it stands for. And until the true champ, the Nature Boy Ric Flair, wins it back and cleans it of your stench, this belt belongs in the trash!" With a dramatic flourish, Flair tosses the championship belt into a nearby trash can, the heavy clang resonating through the arena. He then exits the ring, leaving the discarded belt behind, as the crowd erupts into pandemonium. **Commentary:** Tony Schiavone: "I can't believe what we just witnessed! Ric Flair, showing absolute disrespect to the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and to Hulk Hogan himself! This is unprecedented, Bobby!" He believes he's the true champion, and he's not going to rest until he proves it." Tony Schiavone: "But to throw the championship in the trash? That's a level of disrespect I've never seen before. I can only imagine how Hogan will respond to this." Bobby Heenan: "One thing's for sure, Tony, this rivalry has reached a boiling point, and it's only going to get hotter from here!" He's not backing down from the One Man Gang's size advantage." Lynn's "Workhorse" trait shines as he keeps the pace up, hitting a beautiful springboard moonsault that gets the crowd on their feet. One Man Gang struggles to keep up with Lynn's pace but manages to catch him with a big boot that nearly takes Lynn's head off. **Commentary (Bobby Heenan):** "One Man Gang may have the size, but he's having a hard time dealing with Lynn's speed and agility." One Man Gang then tries to slow the match down, using his weight to his advantage with a series of bear hugs and a crushing avalanche in the corner. Lynn's resilience shines through as he fights back, displaying his "Gifted Acrobat" skills with a series of impressive aerial attacks.
