Seriously Clap...from what I know your an experienced player. Your replies have been very emotional and seem to have only pushed more suspicionyour way. If you want to disgree with DT that is fine but to make him out to be part of the conspiracy is ludacris. I know you never said that out right but you have done nothing but poke at him. Instead of saying why he is wrong, tell us why you are right. Give us a reason to follow you.

Like I mentioned, I thought somebody looked suspicious and now that path has brought it up I will go and throw it out there that BrianD looks the worst to me. Path - I can work on re-formatting it. What would you like me to adjust. |

I think Clap wins the paranoid award. :)
|
Or the wolf award??

Quite the nefarious Conspirator ability! *goes back to his grave* |
hmmph - one ipconfig /renew and i'm back apparently. albeit running slowly.
let me catch up...i see i have a couple PM's too. |

I guess what I'm looking for is what the overall picture looked like at a given time. For example, path votes ntn (4). Jackal & ntn 4, clap 3, pass 2, brian 1. (no offense anyone!) For me, I get a better picture that way of who might be being protected/tossed under the bus. If you can do that it would be awesome. I'm going to try for something like that if I can get my boss off my ass for an hour or so. |

Just caught up with the rest of the thread now. I like your post about how nobody defended those targeted yesterday. For now, you are back down off of my suspicion list. |
Quote:
That should be easy enough. |

Not as much in my mind, not with coming out so directly. Wouldn't mind him being scanned at some point, but for now I'm looking in other directions. |
Beep, beep, beep...

damnit - i don't??? |

I don't know...he is jumping on DT awfully hard. Seems like bad wolf behavior if he really is one. I'm not saying he isn't, but he is just painting such a big target on his back. |
DT. I just recieved a PM from someone...I assume you know about it. Should I comply or not?
|
i've had my suspiscions of brian this morning based on the voting from yesterday somewhat, but his statements in-thread have done a lot to mitigate that.
and i think i've been pretty clear about wanting to encourage villager discussion and putting good disclaimers on everything i've said. |
let's see if i can do some responding to specific points in PM in-thread -- does anybody think that's a bad idea, if i keep the answers very vague like "re: your first point - no" or "re: line #8 - yes" ?
Does anybody see a way that that might be a negative? |
i personally like it, it will give us an idea of whats going on, withotu names....

I have no knowledge of this PM you received as of yet. |

She was just OK. Oops. Sorry, Jack. |
are the mods okay with that? it's not circumventing the spirit of the game?

did u hit it from behind and wear a hockey helmet? i hear she likes that :p |
FYI - for those who want some idea of what's going on - i've received since the game started, 40 PM's

okay - not sure if everyone saves their sent PM's like i do so i will address my answers to specific people

Well since the brutal villager was taken out, isn't it likely that JAG himself took out Tyrith? |

If I read it right the brutal only applied in case of a lynch. |

Grasping at straws here, but the list above is the tail-end of the voting run yesterday. Does anybody think it strange that for everyone that ran on KWhit, almost all of the movers moved off of PB and the only person to move off of ntn was PB himself? Shouldn't we expect people from all over to move to the DT-endorsed KWhit vote? Is there something we should be looking at here? |
Quote:
I have one more hour till I can send you a PM about it. I will wait till then or maybe later so I can send multiple replies. |
Quote:
aaaah okay |
PM's from after-lynch last night & today:
@henry: *waves* @Autumn: yes *nods* @CR: *waves* @Tyrith: *sad face* @BrianD: interesting...thinking @nfg: interesting @Alan: re: line 11 - ?, - (1.5 days) , + @path: perhaps @EF: re: line 7 - ?, +, + @ISiddiqui: *waves* time for coffee? Interesting. Will think on that. |
It's almost time for coffee ;).
|
DT, I can't believe you told the wolves all that stuff. Clap was right, you suck!!
|
Quote:
That is odd. I'm guessing it's an anomaly though as I can't seehow it would make sense otherwise. It suggests that people were glad to either have NTN or Kwhit be the lynch, but not PB. But if so why would they have all voted PB in the first place, instead of piling on NTN or going elsewhere? I would guess it just had to do with the NTN voters having been earlier in the day and the PB voters the ones who were on later. That was my impression at least, that PB gained momentum as NTN seemed a runaway. |
Quote:
 In all seriousness though - I tried very hard to be very nondescript in those responses. If I knew that everyone was saving copies of their outgoing messages I would not even have referred to the senders at all but simply to the times. |

You did a good job being nondescript .. to the point I'm not sure what you are telling me in response to me! :) I think it has to do with my screen resolution making line 11 different then what you see as line 11 perhaps. |
Has Telle been on today? I'm thinking of sending a vote in that direction and am wondering if anyone else has a gut-feel?
|
Quote:
Quick everyone, synchronize our browsers. |
Quote:
I'd be glad to see another candidate. I don't have a feel on her though, can you point at anything that made you suspicious? |
VOTE PURDUEBRAD
Just curious more than anything else. Probably will change later. |
Quote:
bugger that. let me put it in better context for you. 4th paragraph, first line. first 3 sentences (btw the answer to the 3rd sentence is "yes") |
I don't think Telle's our best option. She may indeed be a wolf, but there are higher probability options.
|
Quote:
Nothing solid. Looking at the vote history yesterday, Telle made almost every move I did...after I did. I don't believe she had explanations for the moves like I did, and I don't believe she was breaking ties to make people defend themselves, like I did. She may have been trying to join bandwagons before they got too established. Like I said, pretty weak. |
Hmmmm, I may have to vote for one of you coffee-haters now. ;) How's that for a frivoulous reason for a vote?
|
Quote:
she voted for KWhit which is the only thing I have going for a reason to vote for anyone today. I really do think there had to be some wolves amongst those voters. Other than that nope no gut-feel on her, I find her hard to read in these games generally though. |
mmm coffee break time!
|
4th paragraph in a PM?
|
Quote:
That is better, thanks. So my response is ," The red cow howls at the moonlight". Sorry, my response doesn't actually mean anything, but it felt very much like the movie "Get Smart" :) |

Wh y would you s ay that wo uld occur her e? |
Quote:
I don't suppose you'd entertain "Vote BrianD" as a suggesion would you? ;) You're in that "pre-DT KWhit voters" grouping. well as far as suggestions there's the 2 other people i was considering yesterday. logic in my head says to treat it like a typical double-reveal, you lynch one and then if that's the wrong one you lynch the other and you have a wolf. but alan pointed out in his PM to me that that might not necessarily be the best course of action. there's also this "i'm looking for other computer people. we can combine our efforts and make a super-power" that somebody said to me, when i've had no other computer-folks tell me that they had such ability. |
Quote:
If you are looking for one, you can start with this moderator  |
Quote:
no idea really Alan. +2 -a=c |
Quote:
Oooh permission to vote for the moderator, how can I turn that up? vote hoopsguy :D |

Quote:
I think I'm leading :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: Seriously, I'll look to post one in the next few minutes. |
Current vote count:
Chief Rum: Danny (652, 8:18 PM) Passacaglia: Clap (754, 8:15 AM) Claphamsa: Pass (775, 8:57 AM) nfg (781, 9:21 AM) Purdue: path (867, 1:55) Telle: BrianD (881, 2:23 PM) |
I'm being somewhat evasive as I talk about my thoughts for who to vote for because I don't want to reveal who those people are unless/until we decide to vote for them, since it could be harmful to them if they are indeed good, but does anybody have any general thoughts on the two people I am suspicious of up there above?
|
Clap is the only one that has pinged my wolfdar out of that list. Purdue I could see voting for just to get some clarity on yesterday's vote, though NTN's up and down seems more suspicious, I mean to go back and look at that voting record.
|
I do not DT, although one of those people might very well be me. There isn't anyone up there that I wouldn't consider voting for (except of course myself) at this point.
|
Quote:
The two people you are referring to is Mr.Computer Person or Mr 36 hour person? I already told you my thoughts on Mr.36 hour person. Basically my observation thus far is various people have all kinds of time restraints on their roles and the times do not seem consistant. Some have hourly constraints and others have a week (such as Kwhit) just from what I have observed so far. So I'm not sure someone feels that guilty to me for having a power that can occur every 36 hours (or whatever the case may be). Unless there is more to it that I am missing. As for Mr.Computer guy, I guess I would feel a bit more skeptical about multiple computer guys talking to you about their roles but only one of them mentioning they have some super power when used with the others. I would assume the others would have known about that as well? I think that is easily enough avoided simply by some of the others PMing you to confirm that is indeed the case though. If none of them do, I guess that isn't a horrible route in my mind.. but part of that vote would be out of lack of understanding roles/rules more than how someone has played. That type of vote doesn't always do well though. Of the two options though, I would think the latter is a strong vote choice.. but I'm not sure that I would simply base my vote entirely on either of those. |
Oh - hey...you know who you are - thanks!
|
What was Alan's reasoning for not voting for the "double reveal" person? I can see that with so many roles there may be some some perceived overlap. I suppose it comes down to just how identical the roles were.
And as for the other one, I'm not sure what to think. Seems like an odd thing to claim if it's not true. But then again it's not easy to prove the person false either.. you can't just say "show me your power" because they'll just claim that they can't do it until they find everybody. |
Quote:
I have some suspicion of BrianD, but I didn't want to give up on the fact that I really don't like how clap didn't reveal his role. I'll dig up the post of his that pinged me. |
Quote:
I paraphrased my thinking in my previous post. I think at least what I stated in that post is fairly similar reasons I presented to DT without some of the specifics included. |
Quote:
if DT sez its a good idea i will..... its not like im the seer or anythign! |
Ah, I see DT. I think either of those would be a reasonable choice. My understanding is that 36 hour dude had a suspiciously similar power to KWhit. Might be worth checking, I would expect with 24 roles there would be lots of similiarites, but not something that basically overlaps. Computer dude certainly sounds like an invented role if no one else is seeming to sync with it. Both would make good scans rather than lynches. But at this point nothing much to lynch based on either.
|
i just sent you a PM alan.

Clap as far as I can tell you voted Pass, and apparently think he's a wolf, simply because he got on you this morning. Why so certain about him? |
