The voting is way to spread out at this point. We need to consolidate the voting to threeish candidates or this is going to be a pain to look at down the line with so many throw away votes.

Today is a tough vote, for sure. We're all absently hoping we hit on two-face, so we're watching to see what happens with late movement, but there shouldn't really be any late movement unless two-face is involved, unless people think they've hit on some disturbed citizens..

Has anyone seen the pre-previews animated chipotle commercial at a movie recently? I thought of it because it has the scientist playing in the background. And people in the theatre I was in literally clapped after it. For a chipotle animated commercial.

Yeah I am surprised by how little werewolf talk has gone on but it is day one and the rules where laid out before us so it is not like there is much to discuss.

Just the fact that no one can communicate. The only thing anyone knows about anyone is that 4 people (aside from two-face himself) know who two-face is. So that's all we have to harp on, but we've been saying that all day, so unless we actually have him on the block right now, it's going to be pretty useless.

We are missing nine votes right now which is kind of crazy with only two and a half hours until the deadline.

Trying too hard? Whatever for? If you are suggesting that I AM A CORRUPT VILLAGER and that I WANT TWO FACE TO CONVERT ME, then I am afraid, my friend, you must rethink that postulate. I WOULD never WANT THAT. WHAT person would? That is the least THING on my mind. What _I_ truly WANT IS to rally together, TO encourage discussion, and to BE absolutely clear that A main goal of mine is to catch that SUPERVILLAIN.

And I think we are at a point where you're voting Zinto on day one, you are hiding your vote. It's like every game he's on the block day 1, including when he got barrelrolled early last game.

I actually realized hours later that I had voted for the person who voted me, but it seriously was a knee-jerk reaction to the Coldplay thing at the time. You'll never get that random a WW vote on Day 2 and beyond, but on Day 1 I'm more or less looking for any excuse to put a vote down if I'm around early in the day. I just want to get votes moving and see if we can create some kind of movement to look at later in the game.

well ntn is on it for sure. :) Zinto has been another favorite to vote for. DV always is kinda popular too.

We barrelrolled ntn last game. Zinto made to day 4. That means this game he's obviously a wolf (or a disturbed citizen, or at least a vanilla villager).

I only made it till day three and it was because I was inactive day one.

Well, when I saw there were five more pages of post since last night I was concerned it was going to take a while to catch up. It appears those fears were unfounded :P

This ruleset is far enough removed from a normal game that I'm not sure the usual MO applies here - I think a reasonable case could be made for no lynch here. We have two seers, in a sense, and two bodyguards - it might be in the best interest of the village to play for time.

The flip side of this is that it's going to be very hard for the wolves to form a defense, in the event that we do stumble upon someone early. By the same token, though, it's going to be hard to use vote records for a while, since the disturbed citizens can't come to each other's defense. We can still mine the data looking for Two-Face though...and I suppose we have no choice but to lynch people and try. It just feels like this game is a lot higher variance than normal.

In terms of the D1 vote, for meta reasons I'm disinclined to vote for Zinto - I feel like he's part of a subsection of WW players that tends to take a lot of D1 heat, in my experience. But I'm also loathe to vote for hoops just for the sake of not voting for Zinto, because I feel like he'll be extremely useful at putting forth ideas on how to deal with this funky ruleset. Even if he's a wolf he'll have to give us something, and it can at least be a starting point for speculation.

At the same time, dumping a vote on someone with two votes (as I started writing this the thread was through #392) is just going to make me look like a wolf. Blah.
