And from what I understand Mario isn't selling his stake in the team. He wants to stick with them because he feels they have a real promising future.

I think it just might be that with a talented team and a new building, the price of his shares are rising and will keep doing so.:)

Honestly this whole thing has made me quite bitter about the nhl and the pens in general. Kc should feel completely duped and used.

While i'm happy for the pens fans, A large part of me now roots for their future to look like the houston texans

Why should they feel duped? It's called negotiating. Would KC have sent an apology to Pittsburgh had the team left, and hurt Pittsburgh's feelings?

I agree that's a big part of it too. He's held onto the team for this long. Why not a few more years. It isn't like he is going to losing money on them now.

Why should they feel duped? because Pittsburgh never was going to leave. IT was just a ploy to get what they wanted and more from the city/state of Pitt/pennsylvania.

Its a shame really.. cause now any other team that might move here could be soured to the kc fan base by the fact we could have had someone else.

Ragone is a jilted lover. I half expect him to start listing off all of Pittsburgh's faults to anyone that will listen, or maybe even claiming they are 'small in the area that counts, if you know what I mean'.

Hey, we decided to keep the Penguins, but you guys can claim Kendrell Bell as the consolation prize. Good signing he was.....not.

Thankfully, he's already a backup at this point. Napoleon Harris was signed to take over the starting job.

They still are, basically. The shit's going to hit the fan when the American League finds out they've been putting an AA team on its schedule for the past nine years.

lol...it's funny, they DO have some talent, I just can't imagine how they manage to underachieve so badly every year

I think they should blame steroids and HGH
