I like happy music. I don't see why people often listen to music that pisses you off or gives you a coronary or makes you sad about life. So I like genres like trip-hop, jazz fusion, synthpop, club, world, and so forth.

Abe Sargent 10-18-2011 02:10 PM

For example, this is the song I just finished, a New Swing song from Germany, 2009:

See, happy music!

Kill me now if that is the case. And Sal and I live 3,000 miles away, so a picture may be difficult

also,

Vote Zinto
Coldpaly sucks

Danny 10-18-2011 02:17 PM

unvote narcizo

Zinto 10-18-2011 02:19 PM

I did not realize that being a fan of Coldplay would garner so much attention for a reason to vote me.

Zinto 10-18-2011 02:20 PM

At least I am getting my posting in today for the game.

Zinto 10-18-2011 02:22 PM

I also like Blink 182, The Beatles, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers if anyone hates any of those bands and want to vote for me because of it. ;)

Doing my best to channel Jackal's posting style while explaining feeling about Coldplay.

Danny 10-18-2011 02:27 PM

It might be a bit meta gamey, but I know Autumn has handpicked rolls in the past and I think might have done so for two face.

WASP dark brown (with badgeresque greyish streaks) since it's of obvious import in detecting my allegiance.

Does that mean what I think it means?

ntndeacon 10-18-2011 03:02 PM

Were any of the rolls California in variety?

No you dufus, I'm not talking about you. The world does not revolve around Danny. are you actually saying Autumn chooses who has his roles instead of randomly determining it? Somebody actually does that? Was I Batman in the last game randomly? If I was chosen then that shatters my whole view of the experience as being the winner of the best random roll ever - being Batman in his own game, you know?

Danny 10-18-2011 03:25 PM

lol, I know I was hand chosen for the Joker role. I do not know about you.

Danny 10-18-2011 03:26 PM

But yes, the world does revolve around me

hoopsguy 10-18-2011 03:35 PM

This really has been a cautiously played Day 1 by almost everyone in the game so far. I'm not sure if I'll stick on Zinto or not ... usually I do in spots where I have the vote because sometimes random doesn't turn out to be random.

If we have 5 people who know which player is Two-Face, then there could conceivably be movement to save him today. But that support can't remotely be coordinated, and Two-Face himself won't know where the help is coming from necessarily. Hmm, the more I type the more I'm likely to end up leaving my vote on Zinto if he stays near the top of the list.

I use random.org to choose roles customarily, but yes last time I chose somebody for the Joker because I knew it was going to be an intensive role requiring a lot of posting, and there are always plenty of people who don't have that amount of time or posting style. It also wasn't a posted role. You were random, Abe, I didn't pick any of the other roles there.

I am confused are you implying that I am Two Face and that there is going to be movement to try and save me?

Zinto 10-18-2011 03:50 PM

Or are you saying you hope I am Two Face and hope that there is movement to save me?

ntndeacon 10-18-2011 04:00 PM

Unvote Autumn

Danny 10-18-2011 04:02 PM

I shouldn't have even posted it as I wasn't going to base any decision on it. I guess I threw it out there more for some action then anything. Based on him post though, Autumn likely went random.

I've got no idea if you are Two Face, but if you are one of the leading candidates and there appears to be a race then I'm likely leaving my vote where it was. Even though it was a totally whimsical, borderline stupid reason for casting a vote once the leading candidates take off it is up to the villagers to sort through whether the vote movement is purely random or being guided by an group motivated to "save" a candidate.

So, bottom line, I'll feel a little bad if you get lynched for posting in thread that you like Coldplay, regardless of faction. But if I think there is some kind of movement that suggests a save, then I pretty much ought to stay where I am even if the initial reasoning was lame.

ntndeacon 10-18-2011 04:08 PM

Don't really have a reason for this but...

I find it a perfectly fine reason to vote someone on day one. At least you gave a reasoning for your vote which is more then some people do on day one.

He's referring to the conversion pm from my infamous, and quite fun, "Fightin' Fundies vs Them Gays" WW game. Man, that game seriously needs a sequel.

Lathum and I don't ever discuss the conversion PM from that game. Ever.

Abe Sargent 10-18-2011 05:24 PM

Yet someone brings it up at least once a year, and then posts it again.
