vote tyke

I voted here last night based on autumn's hunch. I think he's going tyke as well downstairs. Who else has yet to vote?

I said it was clear that he thinks tyke is a bad guy from yesterday, but I'm just saying he hasn't made an effort to push people on to him today. Not that that means anything in particular.

The Jackal 09-21-2011 07:58 PM

I'm out until the night deadline probably, here's hoping good stuff happens

He was adamant yesterday, and then immediately placed a vote on me right after last night's events. No denying that... But on every other day we've been together, he's backed up his positions (worries about Autumn initially, then on me). I'm sure he just wasn't around to be able to contribute today. I'm just noting it's unusual. He did post once this afternoon (to investigate the Cellar), but didn't say he was sorry he was around, slammed at work, etc. That's the least I would have expected...

J23 09-21-2011 07:59 PM

Hrm, maybe he got whammied by the big bad where he couldn't talk? Dunno.

tyketime 09-21-2011 07:59 PM

Well I know I'm good. If they successfully lynch me, you must look at the votes on me. I will also lose the chainsaw, so not sure where that will end up.

Which way are you planning on following me?

J23 09-21-2011 08:00 PM

Well, that makes two of us tyke :(

J23 09-21-2011 08:00 PM

Maybe that explains the lack of movement tonight.

Hopefully you'll be able to explain to the rest why you voted a vanilla villager purely on a hunch. We're well beyond that point now - and there are plenty of postings to read through to back me up...

Think of it as having to actually clear the way first to be able to go that way

J23 09-21-2011 08:03 PM

Can you connect rooms for others or just yourself? Also, can you connect any rooms?

You're singling me out?

tyketime 09-21-2011 08:04 PM

Not sure in the spirit of the game whether we can keep posting since it is past the deadline...

J23 09-21-2011 08:05 PM

I think I might really think about Jackal tomorrow. The lack of movement either way for most of the night really makes me think we had Villager vs. Villager, and I'm pretty darn sure there was a baddie in the study yesterday.

J23 09-21-2011 08:05 PM

It's always been the general rule that you can post until your death is posted I think tyke.

Well in that case ;)

Yes mau, I was asking about your very late vote with only 4 minutes to deadline. Just saying...

J23 09-21-2011 08:07 PM

I'm wondering why Bug didn't put in a vote at all myself.

mauchow 09-21-2011 08:09 PM

I have been on and off for about 20 seconds at a time since I left work today. Not long enough to gather my thoughts consistently. If I put the nail in the coffin for your death - and you're a villager like you say, I'm sorry. Unless Autumn has new information on someone else, which I highly doubt - I'm pretty confident he either voted you or nobody again. I've got a hunch autumn is good down there the way he was acting with trying to figure things out. Everyone going down there will see that, too. It's hysterical.

Add on top of that, I thought Bug would make a final vote to be honest which wouldn't make mine the last vote of the day. Not that it matters, I felt weird about this day from the get-go.

tyketime 09-21-2011 08:09 PM

Besides our posturing J23, there's been lots of other crazy stuff today (dubbs disappearance, Bug's desire to teleport without really telling us why, mau's last minute vote.

Bhlloy - be very afraid if I am lynched. I fear you may be heading for a trap...

dubb93 09-21-2011 08:10 PM

Was swamped all day at work. Popped on earlier just long enough to see Jackal ask if I was going to the cellar so I went. I'm so far from caught up that it is crazy. Will catch up in a few. If I'm not able to I expect notes in the cellar. :)

But if you know/feel Autumn is voting me, then your vote in fact is the nail in my villager coffin. So if you've only been on infrequently, why push me to my death? And why do you continue to link your activities with Autumns? Just saying...???

OK dubb, I have no reason to think you are being anything other than sincere. What a coincidence that you stabbed me in the back, magically appear only once today to make your Investigation (and miss most of the other details of the day), and then just make it back right after the deadline. Hmmm...

J23 09-21-2011 08:14 PM

Dubb is the only cleared villager that we know of, unless we were incredibly unlucky in that the one scan this game was on a cunning.

We'll see - maybe he figured something out and didn't tell me - he never gave me a real reason why he unvoted you last night so --- it could bode well for you and J23 could be going home instead.

You're right though, I may have put the nail in the coffin indeed. As mentioned though, was half expecting bug to make a vote.

And what were you expecting? For Bug to bring it back to a tie, or for me to be +2?

And if you've only been on very sparatically today, how did you know Bug was the only vote not made?

what do you mean by "understand"? Being cryptic while we wait for the gallows seems a bit odd.

Sorry - a poor reference to a Chris Rock bit. The thought of him being a cunning has crossed my mind today... that's what I meant.

J23 09-21-2011 08:21 PM

I just can't get behind that theory given the odds, at least not for quite a while.

tyketime 09-21-2011 08:23 PM

What I hope you all won't accept today is a bunch of last minute "sorrys". My message has been loud and clear for days now. NO WAY can you claim the same innocence many of you did last night with the shameful demise of Commo & dzilla.

J23 09-21-2011 08:24 PM

The shameful demise of Commo and dzilla? Dzilla revealed his seance spell after your pressure on him and was night-killed. The Commo bit sucked for sure, but laying both of them at our feet seems really self-righteous given how things unfolded.

It's no where near the top of my list, but I would be remiss if I didn't get all my thoughts out for everyone to read. I sure haven't been shy so far in this game.

I do notice a couple of us trying to squeeze every last bit of info before the lynch occurs. Very interesting who has remained on the sideline...

J23 09-21-2011 08:25 PM

I think we're just the only ones who seem to care much about this lynch result :p

According to the vote count in here it looked like bug was the only one not to make a vote today - not sure about the other threads. Just saying, went where I thought I should and standing by my decision whether it was right or wrong.

There is NO DOUBT one or more wolves were in the Study. Please review your notes to see how it played. Commo was quickly accused of a "wolf slip", and then the feeding frenzy began.

J23 09-21-2011 08:30 PM

If I remember correctly, I was the first to vote him, but Jackal was the first to say something about it. I was certainly probing him about it though. As I said, the idea that a roled villager wouldn't have a specialty didn't even enter my head.

tyketime 09-21-2011 08:33 PM

If you do end up a Villager, then remember one other bit - Jackal offered to give his spell back to dubb to "prove his innocence". Dubb was the one who passed it to Jackal. Six were in there. Two humans killed last night. I know I'm human. We all agree at least one wolf was in there. If you turn out to be good, then dubb/Jackal are only candidates left.

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 08:34 PM

Lynch results delayed (obviously). Frolic as you will.

J23 09-21-2011 08:35 PM

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Maybe despite the name of the spell, it's a good guy only spell and meant to be used instead of the shovel to unearth the corpse in the cellar. That was the only thing I could think of.

The only other alternative that I can think of is that there's some way for the big bad to listen in on rooms. It seems pretty unlikely, but I'm really unsure right now.

J23 09-21-2011 08:38 PM

I'd also point out that Zinto's hand was voting me at the end, and there's no way that's a good guy. I'm sure it could have been moved over to you from me to swing the vote.

bhlloy 09-21-2011 09:18 PM

Sorry guys for not getting a vote in... I'm in the middle of my two week notice at work, so I'm completely overwhelmed and swamped trying to get documentation done and people trained to take over for me. After my last post the game didn't even enter my mind until I just got back home now.

Looks like tyke got set up pretty well at the deadline, I'm very suspicious of Autumn and Mauboy assuming that tyke shows up good.

bhlloy 09-21-2011 09:22 PM

Also I have no idea what to make of Bug. The one thing I would say is a wolf would probably not want to draw attention to his power like he has done today.

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:28 PM

Okeydokey...had to check on some timing things...but going to press now.

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:35 PM

When last we left are victims, it was...

j23 - Jackal (510) tyketime (543) Zinto (563)

tyketime - dubb (493) j23 (551) mauboy (601)

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:40 PM

With

INVESTIGATES:
CELLAR - Zinto, dubb, J23
CABIN - mauboy, Jackal
WOODS - MrBug

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:41 PM

And then This happens...

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:42 PM

Timing issue resolved and I have checked thigns with people so game on:

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:42 PM

Zinto's hand smacks Zinto again with its claw and changes again...

ZINTO unvote j23
ZINTO vote tyketime

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:48 PM

It skitters across the room dragging Zinto behind him, it grabs tyketime by the leg and throws him to the ground. Others equally are interested in restraining tyketime, The hand grabs him by the throat and squeezes, and squeezes and squeezes and squeezes and squeezes...

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:52 PM

tyke's has turned blue. The claws have squeezed very tight until the fingers have met. The hand growls at anyone's approach.

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 09:56 PM

With tyketime's hair in its finger's it climbs up into rafters still holding Zinto. You strangely hear chomping and squeezing noises and then it rains gots of red-orange liquid. Finally Zinto drops, his hand still growling at people. tyketime is no more.

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 10:03 PM

Getting out Investigation results. Night actions due by 6 AM PST/9AM EST due to lynch lateness.

CrimsonFox 09-21-2011 10:03 PM

Get item passes in whenever.

Autumn 09-22-2011 07:36 AM

Wow, looks like a lot of activity for me to wade through. I'll get to that in a little bit, and update my info chart as well. I almost died of boredom down there.

I assume Mauboy told you, but Chief was a bad guy and I was able to hack him apart and bury him with just the shovel so that's good.

Autumn 09-22-2011 08:35 AM

Arggh, Mauboy, I was hoping you were paying attention at lynch time. CF narrated me hacking Chief's body to bits with the shovel, so I was able to bury it. I was hoping you would read that before you left and realize that I didn't need to wait for a knife or chainsaw anymore.

Oh well, I guess everybody will get to see all that firsthand. I will be staying here, probably from now on. I'm now guessing that as long as we have a weapon in the room we will be able to dismember the bad guys.

Autumn 09-22-2011 08:41 AM

I'm assuming Danny is dead at this point. He was moved, presumably to the woods Day 4, and has yet to arrive back here. And nobody has seen him? I think he must have died in the Woods.

Autumn 09-22-2011 08:42 AM

Autumn 09-22-2011 08:55 AM

After Zinto's hand lynching Tyke over J23, it seems J23 is a natural place to go today. We don't know whether the hand is controlled or just random, but it certainly could have broken the tie in the wolves' favor.

Bhlloy, yo'ure in this room, right?

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:13 AM

Things that are weird but not exactly wolfish:

MrBug going to the Woods last night. What purpose could that serve? Yet it smacks of a villager just wanting to play with his ability.

Mckerney staying in the study. Again, why? But staying somewhere like that seems a great way to get a pile of votes from people looking for an excuse to lynch.

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:13 AM

Bhlloy why did you hang out in the study for several days? What did you learn or find there?

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:14 AM

Jackal, can you describe what you guys saw in the study? It's the only room I haven't been in, but I don't really want to move anymore.

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:16 AM

So for the guys who haven't been in the cellar: Down there is what seems to be an empty grave, there's a person sized hole in teh ground, and piles of dirt around it. There's a dripping pipe and one room that's filled with water. I looked around, tried to dig around to see if anythign was buried.

I got nothing, and since Chief was revealed as Getz, I think that the professor's wife must be one of the wolves in the game.

I was able to dismember Chief with the shovel after the lynch, and bury his remains, so hopefully he won't come back the way I guess NTN did.

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:16 AM

CF, I want to gather the remains of Tyketime. If they are not dismembered, I will dismember them with the shovel. I will then bury them if you will allow it.

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:18 AM

If there is anything left of Dzilla's body I will also chop it to pieces and bury it.

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:19 AM

This is worse than when I was alone in the cellar.

It's early and I haven't had my coffee yet, trying to remember exact things but I really can't. Most of that day was absorbed in a debate between tyke and dzilla over nomenclature and dubb taking dzilla's side. I think someone else in here has been in the study more than once? Maybe they can describe specifics better.

Also as to my "suspicions" you might see in the past page or so, I had forgotten we thought it would be a good idea to hack apart corpses, so it makes sense what you've been up to.

The Jackal 09-22-2011 09:53 AM

Autumn, you found a parchment? Just look like gibberish to you? I still have my summon demon parchment and we've been led to believe there's three pieces of parchment that when put together could save us?

Autumn 09-22-2011 09:55 AM

So some are suggesting that one of J23/Jackal/dubb must be a wolf. Do you agree with that idea, Jackal, based on what happened in the study ? I'm not sure I follow exactly what happened.

I found a parchment with some weird drawings on it.

Where did this idea of pieces of parchment come from?

I think there's a strong chance that is true. Unless it is true that wolves can check all threads at once like some have posited, it would make sense that a wolf was around to kill dzilla after commo went down. Dubb was scanned clear by dzilla so it was down to me/tyke/J. I'll probably be going with J again today. There's a quote of his post a couple pages ago steering us away from CR and that's some of the best bit of voting history we have.

So the idea is that something was revealed in the Study that would make Dzilla a good night kill target? What was that? I see he was listed as professor's student, did he reveal a role or something?

Maybe it was in the study thread, there was a tape recorder there, I wish I'd written down exactly what it said but it said something about someone's wife being trapped in a demon's body and us using spells to save her. We must have talked about it in this thread somewhere, lemme go look.

He revealed that he used a seance to scan dubb and some people took that to mean he was a permanent seer, even though he said it was a one-time thing.

Oh okay. In this thread he talked about his wife being possessed, and that he should have dismembered her before he buried her. But I don't think there was any mention of spells, or this book I see you guys talking about. So maybe you learned something in there about it? I had suspected that we'd have to use spells to do something.

oh got it. That makes sense then, that's a big enough risk that the wolves would risk outing one of themselves to take out a seer. So it really should be a J23-You showdown today.

The Jackal 09-22-2011 10:05 AM

I hope bhlloy can remember some more about the specifics of the 3 spell thing. That spell that dubb found and said he was going to use was in fact the summon demon spell that I have, and I haven't used it because I have no idea what it will do - but it sounds like it related to the dead wife somehow, so we figured we'd wait until we had more information.

The Jackal 09-22-2011 10:05 AM

So you did not find the book of the dead in the cellar? We were strongly led to believe it was down there, and since you've been down there two days I was sure you'd have it.

Autumn 09-22-2011 10:08 AM

I am actually aware of the location of the book, but I don't want to make that information too public. Were you guys led to believe what should be done to the book? Is it needed by the village, or should we destroy it?

So did Dubb pass that spell he said he had early in the game to you? I assumed he had but didn't want to out that info.

I think maybe the book would let us bring that wife back from the dead? All I know is I suggested we never wanted it to fall into the wrong hands, so maybe keep that info to yourself right now until we've got the concrete info about what the good guys can do with the book to win. I don't know if it will be related to killing wolves, maybe just a different victory?

Yeah. I assumed he didn't want that info known at the time because he wasn't sure if he trusted you. But I think he's moved more towards trusting you and we've already talked about it in this thread because he encouraged me to reveal my info and I did.

Autumn 09-22-2011 10:14 AM

So I have a parchment and Zinto does, as well as yours. But we know some parchments are differnet spells, like Dzilla used, I guess. Are there obvious differences between them or are they all just parchments until read by a spell user?

Yes, I was worried about the wolves getting the book. Chief had it at one time, and I suspected maybe it was part of the bad guys' abilities. I don't know enough about the movies to know whether this is the source of their power, or something they can use to get more power, or something we can use to get rid of them.

They just look like gibberish to people who can't use them. Even my spell I don't know what it does, just that it's called SUMMON DEMON and has a picture of a winged creature.

Autumn 09-22-2011 10:19 AM

All right, well you'll have to excuse me if i don't pass you the spell yet, you being one of the more suspicious individuals right now. I feel fairly safe holding onto it, I have several defensive items that will keep me safe.

Autumn 09-22-2011 10:19 AM

Hopefully Bhlloy can tell me more about the spells and books. I hate to go into the Study but i think we really need whatever information there was there to put these bad guys to rest.

The Jackal 09-22-2011 10:20 AM

That's fine, as long as we know where the spells are and have someone who can cast them around that's what matters. So if I happen to die just grab it from my corpse.
