It turns out it is sometimes more difficult to participate in WW when on vacation instead of at work. Been pretty busy time for me. But I'm checking on when I can.

That's some awful luck we had yesterday with spleen. Like others have said, I don't think he woild have hinted at it anywhere. So the wolves really rolled the dice right.

Chief Rum 12-18-2012 04:34 PM

Not sure if it matters much, but it might be good to know just how many of us know what game we're in. There are 11 players left.

If this is Game 1, only three of us (2 wolves, wolf seer) know what game we're in. If this is Game 4, five of us currently know (3 wolves, cultist, hunter).

Of course in both cases, the ones in the know are almost exclusively wolves or wolf wannabes. So not sure what we can take from that right now.

GoldenEagle 12-18-2012 04:37 PM

I am not sure how we can really process the voting history here after JAG's strange play. Abe made a vote pretty late on JAG, but I don't think we can really learn anything from that. It was afterall, day 1.

I just don't know where to go with my vote today. I think DV's actions are suspicious, but I bet he just lost track of time with the vote. Plus he didn't vote for JAG, which is a known villager.

Britrock and DT make sense on some levels, but mauboy not so much. The only argument for him was that he was not around much yesterday.

well which is it? :) (I'm definitely not trying to plant seeds...)

I figured you just forgot again really (which is hilarious), but that's the only thing in my mind about the timing. HOwever, there is the fact that someone else followed me onto you.

I don't think this was implied in the rules, but is it possible that the WW seer was able to scan first and the order the kill? This is assuming we are in game 1.

I don't think that is the case though, since it said an extra night action.

I am also not in the camp that the hit on spleen was totally random. But I am not sure what tipped the wolves off.

Simbo Klice 12-18-2012 04:46 PM

Going to sleep for about 5... I'm sticking with my DV vote for now.

britrock88 12-18-2012 04:52 PM

Caught up, and bumping the vote count to the new page:

2 DT - mauboy (214) Abe Sargent (237)
2 DV - britrock (189), Simbo (192)
2 mauboy - CF (199) DaddyTargo (238)
1 britrock - Suicane (233)
1 CF - booradley (234)

CrimsonFox 12-18-2012 05:04 PM

unvote mauboy

DOn't really buy it for now really. Just wanted to get you talking.

CrimsonFox 12-18-2012 05:05 PM

I think I'll go with who voted for you though.

Vote Daddy Targo

GoldenEagle 12-18-2012 05:28 PM

VOTE BRITROCK88

I got to place a vote before I head out the door. I really don't like his quick vote on DV after Day 1. I also thought it was weird he kept his day 1 vote on CF, despite his silly reasoning which I thought was really just a joke.

Those are just theories and not really solid concrete evidence to go on. I just don't want to pile on DV at this point just because of a late vote.

DaddyTorgo 12-18-2012 05:29 PM

self-defense vote. heading out in a couple minutes here (once I do a superman-style office change)

UNVOTE MAUBOY

VOTE DARTH VILUS

CrimsonFox 12-18-2012 05:29 PM

Coffee Warlord in da house!

Chief Rum 12-18-2012 05:30 PM

I don't really feel that that late vote by DV was supposed to be a "make me look good while doing nothing" vote, but there is so very little to go on right now.

So I am going to roll with that unless I hear a better theory.

VOTE DARTH VILUS

Chief Rum 12-18-2012 05:30 PM

Okay, odd and sudden string of posts (heavy with votes).

DaddyTorgo 12-18-2012 05:32 PM

Time of day. I have this party that I have to leave for in the next 15 minutes or so, as I noted earlier.

Let me take a couple minutes to read back and address the case against me before I leave though.

CrimsonFox 12-18-2012 05:32 PM

3 DT - mauboy (214) Abe Sargent (237) CF (259)
4 DV - britrock (189), Simbo (192) Daddy Targo (261) Chief Rum (263)
2 britrock - Suicane (233) Goldeneagle (260)
1 CF - booradley (234)

CrimsonFox 12-18-2012 05:33 PM

I think that's right.

mauchow 12-18-2012 05:35 PM

fwiw i would be ok voting CF too.

CrimsonFox 12-18-2012 05:40 PM

well sheesh, maybe I should vote for you after all...

DaddyTorgo 12-18-2012 05:44 PM

Since I'm headed out and won't be around, let me take a minute here to address this.

The whole "admirable but I think we got a villager thing..." just rubs me ever so slightly.

mauboy says my reaction to the JAG situation rubs him the wrong way. I don't think he was around for some of the games where I notably self-sacrificed myself. My comment last night about it being admirable was a reference back to those games, and saying that I knew what was going thru JAG's mind.

anyways...i'm headed out for this holiday party.

Chief Rum 12-18-2012 06:03 PM

I think the thing I would like to know is if JAGfelt he was doing the village a service by ensuring he was the one that was lynched, or if it was just a vote made out of frustration, which I see more often on self-votes.

The first kind, we might take some meaning from it. The second kind is more or less worthless to us.

CrimsonFox 12-18-2012 06:06 PM

But Jag doesn't seem the type to get frustrated like that especially so early on. He seems to just not join a game at all if he's not feeling the WW love.

Abe Sargent 12-18-2012 07:20 PM

Do we want to force a tie vote so that the wolves and our roles, now misue th eseer, swtich places? Don't I remembe that being the tie rule?

Is this Abe mispelling things again to announce that he's the cultist?

mauchow 12-18-2012 08:23 PM

Which if there was a cultist it would make this game as #4.

Suicane75 12-18-2012 08:25 PM

How does that work?

Of course bnot. Here's the deal, and it's a bit fank, so beware. I have alays been a not so hot typer and when i dont edit, things get a little out there. But, recently, in the last year, with the begining my the physical symptoms o HD, i miss the keys a bit more, so it takes too long to correct all of my erros, and I saw screw it and just move on, unless I'm doing a dynsaty.

Abe Sargent 12-18-2012 08:27 PM

To make things clear, I am NOT sending an "I am a Cultist" message with my mistyping.

My gut is that JAG was confident about CF being a villager. Perhaps he figured there was a greater chance that CF is a roled villager than that he is a wolf. FWIW (which may not be much if we're in Game 1), I take JAG's self-vote to heart as a vote of confidence in CF.

No, that was EF's plan for a tied vote in the Santa game.

britrock88 12-18-2012 08:36 PM

DV is our lone non-voter.

Suicane75 12-18-2012 08:43 PM

Again

Suicane75 12-18-2012 08:44 PM

Saying that in a gameplay way, not with in a snarky way.

Ah gotcha. What;s the tie for this game? Is it the same for each rule set or random?

As DV continues not to be around, I wonder if he's an uninterested VV. That said, the late vote yesterday is more of a bad vibe than I have felt from either DT or CF this game.

GoldenEagle 12-18-2012 09:42 PM

Woohoo, I made it back for deadline.

mauchow 12-18-2012 09:48 PM

An exciting one!

DaddyTorgo 12-18-2012 09:55 PM

Just walked in. See if I can't catch up real quick.

Yeah - maybe you just didn't know this mau, but it's a symptom, not any type of signaling. So we all just overlook it as long as we know what he's trying to say.

DaddyTorgo 12-18-2012 09:57 PM

Aaah okay, didn't really miss much of anything.

DaddyTorgo 12-18-2012 10:01 PM

Well that's deadline.

I didn't know. I always see him type up big long dynasties and didn't figure for anything of the sort. Sorry, Abe!

Autumn 12-18-2012 10:21 PM

Deadline! (Okay, well you knew that. Sorry, got hung up).

Autumn 12-18-2012 10:24 PM

Final Vote Count
Code:

CrimsonFox (1) -        Booradley (234)
Britrock88 (2) -        Suicane75 (233), Goldeneagle (260)
Darth Vilus (4) -        Britrock88 (189), simbo klice (192), daddy torgo (261), chief rum (263)
DaddyTorgo (3) -        Mauboy1 (214), Abe Sargent (237), Crimsonfox (259)

Autumn 12-18-2012 10:26 PM

You're still uncertain about quite a lot, but yo'ure certain about one thing! Well, some of you are. Some of you are certain that Darth Vilus must be one of the werewolves. Who else would name themselves after a supervillain? You string up, set him on fire and shoot him. Then you toss him out of the box.

Autumn 12-18-2012 10:27 PM

Peering out of the box you see infinite possibilities coalesce into one. Darth Vilus was not a werewolf. Well, not yet anyway.

Darth Vilus was a Wolf Cub.

Autumn 12-18-2012 10:28 PM

Night Two will end at 11 pm EST. Since I was late, I'll give some leeway if I don't get all night actions in by then.

britrock88 12-18-2012 10:28 PM

Ambivalence!.

GoldenEagle 12-18-2012 10:31 PM

Interesting. I guess that is better than coming up empty. So that means we are game #4, right?
