Maybe he was more interested in simply avoiding the lynch than in targeting someone else for it. Thomkal had already come out in your support, and we'd gotten the manifest info we wanted out of you. There could have been AFK considerations in play there.

1. There's always that possibility that baddies can influence the way the mod describes things, but I'm sure that if it's the case, it would be within limits.

2. Trade-offs. Cover more ground? Or limit our vulnerability? Your point about the extra evidence from killing within small groups is well-taken. Semi-relatedly, I'm still interested in having people with weapons go to the riskier exploration areas with the idea of defending the group they're with.

I'm going to wait for GE's reply before discussing this further.

Here it is. To me that means someone found it, but I guess no one has owned up to it. Which is probably smart considering they'd likely have been targeted for a night kill.

If we find ourselves in a situation where we really need it we could have it given to a specific person that we're all aware of and have that person guarded, or what not.

He is saying he chose you because he knew Thomkal would keep you alive. He seems to trust you. He duked to saved himself but avoid sacrificing anyone else - nullifying the trial altogether.

That is absolutely not what he said.

He said it was your or me. Everyone knew Thomkal was keeping you alive. Anyone who didn't know that, clearly hasn't been following.

The second part was my interpretation/assumptions of his actions.

By saying it was you or me, he implied that he was going after people he wanted lynched, because he didn't trust them. The further justification ("I also missed the fact that you gave details on the passenger manifest") supports the idea that he is claiming he thought I was likely scum.

Nowhere is it implied that he was trying to avoid a lynch, or wanted Thomkal to keep me alive. Nor does he ever imply that he trusts me, and his actions imply the opposite.

Your interpretation is both wrong and excessively favorable. Are you his scumbuddy?

I read his posts hours ago. I quickly read it and continued on reading the thread, to catch up. I didn't stop and analyze the post, so my interpretation (at the time of originally reading it) of his "hunch" was that he trusted us both, whereas your interpretation was the opposite. Maybe your interpretation is correct, but...

There were numerous posts and entire conversations devoted to Thomkal saying he would not let you stand trial. Everyone in the game should be aware of that fact, because it was a HUGE point in conversation yesterday. If he missed that fact and all the conversation around it, then he was the one not paying attention. Excuse me for assuming he was following along in the daily major events and acting accordingly. Everyone else in the game knew you would not stand trial. You're being ridiculous if you think otherwise.

My previous post was a knee-jerk quick-reply based on his actions and on my assumption that he knew what was going on in the game. I didn't go back and analyze his single post before trying to make sense of his actions. I just assumed he knew you wouldn't stand trial, because again, EVERYONE else knew that. That's why I thought he chose you.

There's really no one else I can justify voting for at the moment.

Hah, didn't mean for that to be a run. I feel like his character would be jaded by not being elected and thus be a solid conversion target, knowing we have no idea if conversion is even in the game.

I also feel like his posts have been more argumentative than helpful.

I have only a slight lean toward Dangarion right now over saldana since those are the two leading candidates.

I figure going with the large group may help that group stay healthy if there is an issue out there.

I am not going to jump on the Dan Garion run. I honestly have not read much of todays run. I am just hoping to keep it close for now and see what happens. I will probably be on once more before deadline just so everyone knows.

I didn't have a clue what that was about until my wife came home and showed me.
