I'm looking back through the thread, particularly at those with Great physical ability to see who is most likely to oppose our government. Britrock was not confrontational but makes clear here that he is not a fan of martial law, and he has the physical ability to deal with JAG. |
Quote:
Shoveler is another colonist with the ability to take out JAG. he has been forthright in his concerns about Thomkal's government. |
Quote:
Shoveler is clearly someone with an independent mind. |

And is not a fan of martial law. |
I am currently assuming everyone told the truth about their physical abilities. I think that is a reasonable assumption because I don't think our current revolutionaries had any reason to think they would be in this position before Thomkal took over, and so had no reason to be wary.
With that said only Shoveler and Britrock appear to have the strength to take on JAG, other than Thomkal himself. Zinto, GoldenEagle and NTN do not have physical abilities listed, so they are secondary suspects, but I don't see much reason to expect one of them is very strong. So my choice for now is between Brit and Shoveler. The fact that Chief and JAG were targeted may suggest a veteran like Britrock. However, it may be that the revolution was simply targeting those in leadership positions. Chief was our chief doctor, and JAG was on the police force. So I think it could be either of these two. for now ... vote shoveler |

EF said everyone has a past... the following list did not provide any indication of questionable histories.
Font, DG, Zinto, CF, Raven, GE, ntn, brit, jackal, grover, saldana. They may not have shady histories but we should track accordingly. |
Thought for the group... could the wolves be those that did not vote for Thom? How many were there that voted Font? Just throwing things out there.
|
That's a really good point, Timmae, and I think possibly right on. I had forgotten that when voting I had considered that likelihood. It's part of why I voted Thomkal despite my reservations, I figured there would be effects of the vote. Looking at that day to see how people likely voted is a good idea.

I have. My time as a policeman ended when I was accused of using excessive force. |

Foxy, I've missed playing WW with you. :D
|
Oh, hey, there's a vote lost on CF in yesterday's tally.
Quote:
Narcizo, Shark, DanG, Autumn, Zinto, and GE are the 6 voters. |
Quote:
Excellent find. How can we use this to our advantage though? |

Saboteur or insomnia. You decide... ;) |

Screw you, Autumn!! :banghead:  |

I didn't have a vote. I was in jail. |
Also, I woke up last night with the flu so I will be not around more than around today because I am going to sleep as much as I can.
|
The flu? He could infect the entire colony! Lynch him before it spreads!

The gun could have been used in the last 2 murders... with the notes. Different murder pattern for sure. I've been asking about that damn gun... who had it last? |
Quote:
This seems to be a huge mystery. Obviously no one is willing to admit they would have the gun for fear they'll immediately be lynched. |
Quote:
.... consulting "the list"... ummm... |
The Gun was discovered Day 3. There is no discussion of who discovered it or how it was found. We do know that Font was the leader at the time. Maybe she knows more? Also, the following individuals were working on the task that day:
On Voted Action britrock88 Suicane75 Thomkal GoldenEagle DanGarion Raven Shoveler Zinto CrimsonFox Could one of them snuck off to search (i.e. be a searching role within the game)? The medical center was not completed due to lack of effort. Chief didn't get 100% better. Was it due to not having the full team on him? Those caring for him that night: Work on Chief Rum Autumn ntndeacon fontisian |
Quote:
Ugh. Feel better soon! |
Also, what action are we proceeding with today? If we don't act are we just wasting a day and picking off another person with no real progress to show for it?
I would recommend we agree on voting as a group and then proceeding with the action as a group. If we have 10 separate actions we'll be sitting ducks... err... martians. |
The memorial for JAG and Chief Rum will be held tonight-attendance is mandatory. I caution those colonists going on exploring missions to make sure you have at least one partner you can trust-wouldn't want to see anymore "accidents"
I will be gone for a good chunk of the afternoon now "taking care of govt. business" |
I had no idea we had been dropped off the middle of Mars' own Jonestown...
|
EF: Did we ever get to gather supplies? I believe we were in martial law the day we were supposed to. Can we gather supplies and then proceed with our offensive build on the next day?
|
Quote:
I thought we had collected the supplies before we were all poisoned/drugged/knocked out by our benevolent leaders on Earth |
we voted to but then...
|
Quote:
Well, I can't argue that. I'm shocked it isn't on the list |
I'm not sure GE should be discounted just because he had a duke ability, but I'm likely to look elsewhere at least today.
|
Interesting that JAG and CR were 2 of 3 voting for Dan yesterday - someone trying to set him up?
|
In regards to my past, I did something that I'm not proud of - let's say my brain lost the chess game, if you get the Seinfeld reference. But it doesn't affect my engineering capabilities, which is all you need be concerned with.
|
Quote:
Playing catch up and trying to process everything that has happened overnight, but just wanted to clarify we have indeed completed the supply run. |
Quote:
MIT Coeds? Who can blame you? |
Quote:
Perfect. Thanks for the reminder. (Feel better. Hope you have time to get a vote in at some point.) |
Quote:
Fair consideration. Would there be anyone that the group might be willing to openly possess the gun? - Thomkal (he's the leader, but is he too powerful?) - britrock (police force, but admittedly can be physically excessive) - Shoveler (uses brawn to get information) Just chewing it over. |
Quote:
1. It's a set-up! 2. DanGarion controlled both NKs and lashed out at his voters! 3. There's no way it could have been a result of chance! :p |
Quote:
Quadola: We should pay some attention to this. I think I'm out by virtue of having Autumn treat me, but we should get people to cover some ground on the flatlands (the safest area). Figuring out where that gun is might be helpful in planning exploration groups. |
Quote:
I don't think we have any sort of a COT (circle of trust, for new players) I think we'd be more comfortable if someone who we're holding accountable for actions, etc, is in possession of it though. It might also make them a target for a NK, however, if the gun ends up being an extra kill for the bad guys. |
As for possible motives to last night's attacks... I recall rivalries among Thomkal, Shoveler, myself, and JAG, and between Autumn, ntndeacon (to a lesser extent), and Chief Rum during the period when we were all jockeying for leadership positions.
But among that group of people, (and leaving some shady backgrounds aside--don't we all have them?) everybody seems pretty pro-colony in the public discussion we've had in two weeks. So I'm struggling to identify suspects from that group. Are we interested in following up on yesterday's set of lynch leaders? |
Sorry. Yes you have supplies. You could return to building options when your issue (issues?) are resolved.
|
Quote:
Much thanks... missed that. |
I know Zinto was in jail at some point yesterday, but when was he released or has he not yet been released?
Not sure if anyone can answer this directly other than EF? |
Quote:
If golden was the duke I don't think I want to vote for him. Unless we REALLY think a good character went bad. |
I really think shark gave himself away yesterday for me.

Golden Eagle´s and Dan Garion´s voters were murdered or injured during the night... Think about that guys  For me an obvius try to distract the thinking of the colony, so probably the murdered would be in the top voters... And this guy is trying to bully me again... And is Good in Physical so... Vote: Crimson Fox I don´t like big brother shows so don´t try to involve me in your discussion :popcorn::popcorn: Anything that can we research?? And the "big" "bad" boys can go to the landscape to discover more map? Let´s try to solve this quickly and continue with the adventure! |
yes shark you only come out nd point fingers at me when someone says your name, I get it.
