They didn't win so much as the Jets lost. I kind of wanted them to blow it for draft position, but I'm happy that we got our revenge for the Jets keeping us out of the playoffs by blowing it week 17 vs. Miami last year.

As for the game, my only thought is why the wolves targeted spleen so early, as he's pretty new (or at least I don't think I've played with him, if he's got past rep then this is irrelevant). They couldn't have gotten a seer result yet, so I'm thinking they were probably trying to avoid protection.

I'm pretty sure the wolves now know which gametype we're playing based on if they have a seer or not. That probably doesn't matter much, but I think we're better off if it's gametype 1 as there's no wolf cub or cultist to worry about.

yeah i think you're right. We know we have a seer. And they should know (based on what Autumn said about everyone knowing roles) if they have a seer or not.

If this is Game 1, then Houston, we have ourselves a problem ...

FYI - I'm going to be sporadic today. I have a doctor's appointment, then I have to hit the gym, then just a couple hours here at the office before I head in to town for our holiday dinner. There's a chance (dunno what %, but a chance) that I won't make it back before deadline. I sure hope I'm not out that late, but it's possible.

So don't expect a ton from me, and the odds are quite good that I won't be changing my early vote late in the day - in fact you can pretty much count on it (unless I sneak off and do a quick-check and can manage to get a vote-change in).

I am trying to look into Spleen's posts to see what may have pinged seer but I'm not seeing it.

This is the only one that came out to me as a possibility but only if there is a Night 0 scan for the seer in which if the random villager scan was JAG and him saying that because he knew he was villager could ping someone. I don't suppose we know if there was a N0 scan do we?

I looked too. The only thing I could think of was that he said "Villager checking in", but didn't say vanilla or seer. Though I don't know if you guys' usual terminology implies vanilla in that instance.

I don't think he would purposely hint that he was the seer on day one. Doesn't make any sense. I think they got lucky.
