I work at a high school and this was first week of school, it was crazy busy and i forgot about this game.

Time to kickstart some discussion with a reads list!

1) Zinto - reads as a possible/probable Neutral. Used "nonevil" in a way CF caught onto and has mostly talked about nomination/lynch mechanics (to be fair, he was nomination leader on Thursday). Would guess Survivor, Jester, or Amnesiac.
3) britrock88 - good :)
7) cheekimonk - Shoveler escorted him N1, so not the Arsonist, per Shoveler's will. Was part of the Zinto push with independent reasoning. Neutral to good read.
8) Autumn - is good
9) Danny - largely absent, which leans good
10) The Jackal - is good
12) dubb93 - active; knows ToS roleset; thinks Danny could be third mafia in hiding -- good read
14) lighthousekeeper - moderately active, mostly role-related questions, which would be a ping, but threw a little shade on timmae, so he may be trying to hunt?

Eight players left... knowing we have at least 2 more neutrals out there is interesting. Things could be as tight as 4-2-2 for the Town.

I don't agree that "mostly absent" = "leans good" in this case. It generally does, but with so many roles in this game it's too easy for a creep - neutral or evil - to keep his/her head down while the board debates all the roles and who belongs to them. I nominated based on Zinto being quiet, and I nominated this person earlier, so I'll go with:

Agree. We need to have a lynch because, looking at the remaining roles, we're going to have another (smaller) massacre tonight in any case. We need to control the one death we can.

I am not sure it is an awful thing that we didn't nominate anyone. But it is for activity and discussion. Did anyone have anymore useful information?

So we nominate people to put up for lunch? And then vote to lunch them or not? What do we do now that no one is nominated?

but really, the jailer will get to work tonight to root out the remaining baddies. i think there's only 1 killer left (arsonist), so he's fairly outnumbered. i don't know what the 1 (maybe 2) remaining mafia support can accomplish, now that his bosses are dead.

The support will morph into a killing role. As long as there is mafia they can kill.

I seriously hope we didn't decide to not nominate today under the impression that mafia wouldn't be able to kill. Spend five minutes playing a game of town of Salem. It is free to play for crying out loud.

Damn, busy day again and too late to nominate. Danny and Lighthouse are both question marks in my book, so I would have been happy with either of those. I was really hoping we'd be getting some info this morning from people. Did no one go to jail?

Did anyone get doused last night? It would be extremely helpful to know as they're good as dead at this point and we can take them out of the pool of lynch candidates.

I've got meetings today so I might as well leave my vote where it was yesterday in case I get tied up. We have to have enough votes to at least nominate today.

I think that whoever is our investigator should come out today. My numbers suggest there are 3 good guys left, 1 mafia, 2 neutrals (one of whom is the arsonist) and the Any, which I believe is a Witch. That means we're outnumbered, but we can't afford to have a mislynch of one of those three, and scans are not going to be of much use at all from now on. This will also allow our Jailer to make a good choice, as anyone outside of us three goods are fair game.

Yeah kind of a weird overshoot with the jailer still being in the game.

I doubt mafia would post that considering the numbers. So, vigilante? Serial killer? May be arsonist if someone got doused last night and didn't reveal. Could be werewolf if the random role made 2 of them.

Whatever happens, I apologize, I have not been able to pay nearly as much attention to this game as it deserved

Only game I could see Lighthouse being up to is that he's the arsonist and will ignite his victims upon death? But nobody's mentioned being doused, so not sure how much to worry about that.

I got doused last night so the arsonist is still out there.

Pretty lost as far as strategy since I didn't read much of the thread, but I will go with this.

As a sat here and thought about what he could be at first I was thinking mafia endgame so I was going to hold my vote to see if anyone tried to save him then move it after they outted themselves. Since they haven't made a move that most likely means he is acting alone and is playing the Jester.

I echo these sentiments. In my bewilderment at tonight's lynch I missed your post EF. Take all the time you need here. Maybe we could take a break until Monday if that would be best for you?
