Just the opposite. That creeps me the fuck out.

Too bad for her they already remade Total Recall a few years ago.

Suicane75 09-23-2014 01:54 AM

It's starting. 20 years from now we're gonna have 4 balled, 3 cocked and 5 titted he/she's running around screaming about sex organ equality.

Some cool posters my roommate found on the internet. The gentleman is selling his work if anyone is interested.

Edit: for those unaware, these are based upon the Final Fantasy video game series.

NobodyHere 09-26-2014 02:52 AM

I wish Sony didn't royally screw up with the PSP version of Final Fantasy Tactics.

What is happening there?

Suicane75 09-30-2014 01:50 AM

K, I just read up on it. Should really be a penalty. That's not cool at all.

Yeah, if I was a Miami player and I actually fell for it and went over to check on him, I think I'd be well within my rights to beat him with my helmet.

In the full video, the pass off of the fake punt is intercepted, and when the guy resurrects himself, he gets lit up on a block.

jeff061 09-30-2014 12:56 PM

Should be a straight suspension as far as I'm concerned, potentially against the coach as well. I can't believe he thought it would be a good idea.

Suicane75 09-30-2014 01:02 PM

Glad he got lit up. Sadly.

Autumn 10-01-2014 02:38 PM

I'd be more bothered if he actually made some attempt to seem natural. That seemed pretty obviously slapstick to me.

it was planned slapstick, actually. He was ineligible to go downfield so they decided to have a little fun with it.

Arkansas State player fakes collapse on fake punt - NFL.com

Dutch 10-01-2014 08:15 PM

From the article....

Quote:

"Because of the formation we were in for that fake punt, Booker was covered up and couldn't go downfield, or it would be a penalty," Anderson told College Football 24/7. "So we said, 'What do we want to do with him? Do we want to bubble him or peel him out?' Someone said let's just let him be a fainting goat. I loved it, so we just put that in. His job on that play was basically to not get a penalty by going downfield, because the fake was on the backside of the play. These kids have had five head coaches in five years, so we try to let them have fun."

Masterful as the performance was, it didn't appear to confuse the 'Canes -- or even one Hurricane. UM intercepted a pass on the play, and a look at the latter part of the play shows that Miami linebacker Thurston Armbrister took no pity on his fallen opponent.

I'm a fan of the uniqueness....now if that becomes a regular thing, then I'm all for the ban hammer, but once? Meh...good humor.

Right, I know. That's my point--if they were actually trying to trick somebody by making it look realistic, that would be upsetting, but obviously there was no real risk of that the way he did it.

Suicane75 10-02-2014 09:07 PM

That's true for those of us watching it from start to finish on video. But if I'm a player on the field and I glance over and don't see all of it, or If I see it peripherally, It's a whole different thing.

Here's another one:

Dutch 10-05-2014 04:54 PM

Whew, we're gonna need that land when Global Warming floods the coast lines.

Wolfpack 10-05-2014 11:29 PM

Every time any article is written about the loss of the Aral Sea, it always sends me back to 10th grade biology when we had to write a paper for some topical reason (can't remember what now). I think I came across a newspaper article about the Aral Sea and chose to write about it for class. This was in 1992, so I've been following this with sad interest for quite a long time now.
