It was more a shot at my wife rather than women in general (kind of a "take my wife...please" thing) but yeah, I could see it. |
Oh I know it was PB, and hell, most of my girlfriends have been self-admittedly awful with money, so I'm not faulting you.
|
And where the hell is this bank that our decisions can reflect on earth's gravitational force?
|
im awful with money.... I just lost 800M.

I only watched one episode of the new Sarah Connor Chronicles, or whatever that new Terminator series is called.. but it involved a Bank, and from this game I am assuming jeheinz saw the same episode! |

playing monopoly at work again? |
Actually never watched it. But you don't want to mess with the earth's gravitational force.
|
count anyone?

It isn't that big of a deal. We would just need to get a team of 6 specially trained individuals, one must be a foreigner and one must be a formerly shunned scientist that then will drill to the center of the earth's core. We'll just need to set off a series of 6 nuclear blasts in a chain sequence, and it should have the earth rotating once again to restore the gravitational force. |

Right now looks like 6-5 PurdueBrad with only Render left to vote. |
RendeR better show up, dammit. I'll be tempted to switch if he doesn't since that is my usual day 1 strategy.

I guess I should say misplaced not lost!

Was wondering when someone would mention that. |
well, I am not going to take a chance at random, so assuming that render will show up and vote PB...
unvote render vote pb |
yeah...that didnt make any sense...i thought it was the other way around (render up one)
|

Well yeah, duh, my 3-year-old could do that. |
Taking Narc's last tally as correct, here's a current count. Let me know if there are objections
PurdueBrad - 7 EagleFan (75), Alan (99), Narcizo (116), PackerFanatic (122), clap (125), path12 (14X), saldana (165) RendeR - 4 stcronin (66), Lathum (84), Barkeep (102), PB (127) Claphamsa – 3 Jackal (82), NTN (101), SnDvls (119) st cronin – 1 illini (86) No vote yet - Render |
Wow, five of the last six votes were for me (excluding my vote). Nice push coming from somewhere and good use of questions regarding a tie to scare people out of moving their vote. I'll leave it at that...
|
5 minutes to deadline
|
deadline, results forthcoming.
|
Quiet deadline.. making me have second thoughts now.. but oh well too late now. I know it is easy for me to say that Render is going to get some attention from me tommorrow for not even showing back up.. Just hope we were right here.
|
Very busy today and only a few minutes to check to see what is going on. It looks like a lot of movement today. I am off tomorrow (wife getting a procedure done) and should have time (in the down time) to be on a bit more but may be picking her up around the deadline but at least I can be a little more active than today.
|

quiet deadlines and no movement late usually mean villager/villager too. Although you could argue that there was some movement. |
GL to your wife EF

Thank you. It's a precautionary test. It looks like there is nothing to worry about but they want to make absolutely certain of that. |
FWIW RendeR did say something about the deadline was while he was going o work.... not that he couldnt have checked in beforehand.
|
As the last bit of daylight disappears over the sunset, you gather to make your final votes. Much deliberation is given between PurdueBrad and RendeR, who fails to make his own decision today.
In the end, some late votes seal the fate of PurdueBrad and people seem sure he's a robber of this bank. He's strung up and let to die. As life seeps out of his body and he gives a final twitch you examine him. You find a lock pick and some bags stashed in his jacket. It appears that today, you were correct, PurdueBrad was a Robber! Night One has begun, deadline at 3 PM EST. PM me your action if you haven't already done so. |
Nice job...go Robbers! That was a brief return.
|
wow.....
|
That's a good start. It also gives us some potentially cleared names too with the relatively late switches to PB.
I told you he is always a good day one vote. ;) |
nice.
seems we have a good day 1 record lately. |
it is amazing how that cooincides with the end of lynching me on day 1!
|
When some of the earlier votes were put on PB, it seemed like it was a run away between others.. So I don't think that any of the early voters for PB should necessarily be overlooked (even including me)..
I feel a bit better about some of the later voters though on PB, even though I'll have to go back and look to see what the risk/reward ratio is for a wolf on wolf vote later on once Render held the tiebreaker for his own demise. (As the wolves wouldn't have known he wasn't going to show up to save himself)... unless Render is also a wolf I guess. |
nice!!!!
|
I would look closely at Saldana's vote, could have been an attempt to gain trust. I would also look at EF's early vote and his subsequent attempt to clear the late voters for PB.
Those 2 just dont add up for me. |

Then you're really going to love it when I say that I almost switched from PB at the end but didn't have time as I thought the run on him looked suspicious. I would obviously be kicking myself if I had at this point. Of course now that you mentioned saldana you kind of ruined what I was hoping to accomplish with my statement about trusting the late run on PB. I was kind of hoping saldana would not get pointed out quite yet to see just how he reacted thinking he was part of the trusted list. Now it will just bring out a defensive response from him if he is a wolf or not. Two games ago the person who I voted for early on day one was a villager and that was "suspicious", now the person who I voted for early on day one was a wolf and that is also "suspicious"? Sounds kind of like no win logic there. I guess next game I'll vote for the GM on day one... ;) |
Wow. Didn't really expect that, nice!
|
Quote:
or you got called out for it and this is your response, but I guess that remains to be seen. |
Quote:
I don't mind you calling me out (as long as it doesn't gain momentum and lead to a bad lynch). I had no plans on trying to read between the lines in any of my posts. ;) |
I love it. Good job guys.
|
I had a feeling from the tone of PB's late posts that he was a robber, nice grab on the first day.
|
Sorry I wasn't around folks. Life and all that. I did warn that this was a bad deadline for me. I'm at work and can join in from time to time now.
Glad i didn't get lynched for non appearance! |
Night results coming up here shortly
|
You awaken from a rough nights sleep depressed about still being stuck in the bank. While you are energized by catching a robber yesterday, you are cautious about the day ahead. Then you realize that RendeR is not among you.
A quick scan of the Men's room leads you to a trail of some sort of green liquid which is flowing from the handicapped stall into a pool under the sinks. You open the door and see RendeR, or what looked like Render, bright red all over with this strange green liquid coming out of every orafice. Part of you is dismayed over his demise, part of you taken aback by the fact that you have no idea what the heck he was. RendeR is dead, he was the Evil Cyborg from the Future! Day Two hath begun. Lynch deadline is 1 PM EST tomorrow (Thursday) Any needed night PM's will go out in the next 5-10 minutes. |
Well.. guess we don't have to worry about Render's absence now...
|
Whoops, almost forgot, you check the bank, and all of the money appears intact.
|
Well phooey, damn earthlings and your nasty diseases.....
|
Well, that was all rather spiffing result then.
|
I find it intersting that the wolves chosw to kill the one person who didnt cast a vote.
It's almost as if they didn't want to assist in eliminating people from vote analysis. Not really sure what that means, just found it interesting. |
