You villagers are doing great! Keep it up!

This sticks out like a sore thumb now...

claphamsa 06-30-2008 02:11 PM

when was this vote?

EagleFan 06-30-2008 02:12 PM

It does stick out but first thing's first...

vote mccollins

1794, Day 4

Danny 06-30-2008 02:12 PM

I'm not sure what to think. Everyone we have put heat on has turned out villager so far. Very few deadline switches. I'm not sure we've even been close to nabbing a wolf.

That was my first thought when SnDvls went down.

RendeR 06-30-2008 02:13 PM

OI vey...After the last game where the villagers basially ate the wolves alive, we're now seeing Karma in action, we're getting our asses handed to us.

Hrm, perhaps the fact that he was a seer (wether real or fake) and he voted for you? Its not definitive but it ertainly adds to the rather overwhelming suspicion of you the whole game.

RendeR 06-30-2008 02:15 PM

We suck. I'll check back later tonight and get a vote in.

Sorry Olie!

PackerFanatic 06-30-2008 02:16 PM

We have to assume that SnDvls scanned you and it came out bad - otherwise what other premise would he have to vote for you?

claphamsa 06-30-2008 02:16 PM

vote pasacaligula!

PackerFanatic 06-30-2008 02:16 PM

VOTE PASSACAGLIA

My voting has been awful all game, but I might as well keep trucking along.

Awfully quick to vote there. I may vote Mccollins myself, but after all of the false assumptions we've made so far about who is a wolf, I could see the wolves getting itchy and feeling close to a win and trying to pile up on someone.

Passacaglia 06-30-2008 02:17 PM

This is Day 5, right? He's voted three other times, if I'm not mistaken.

Passacaglia 06-30-2008 02:19 PM

And let me get this straight. We still don't know which seer he is, right? We're going off the assumption that one seer scanned me as good, and one scanned me as bad? I can actually see that, since I would guess that the fake seer would scan everyone as good.

Off to read more of SD's posts. You've been a big help, Sunny D!

Danny 06-30-2008 02:19 PM

If the fake seer scanned you as good, then wouldn't that mean sndvls couldn't be the fake seer?

Danny 06-30-2008 02:20 PM

Who has sndvls vote for on day two and three?

If the fake seer scanned everyone as good and one seer (the real seer) scanned you as bad, that would not be very good for you.

But I understand how a simple mis-statement can happen to all of us.

Funny how this came immediately after two votes for me.

Hi Mickey C, LSG, clap, PF, and Danny!

Danny 06-30-2008 02:25 PM

I am guessing sndvls scanned DT or Lathum day one, so I'm not sure his day two vote means anything. His day three vote is obviously fine. Still, the fact he voted Pass today when the primary heat was on two other players doesn't look good for Pass. Still, I'm going to analyze more, so far we have been too quick to jump on people.

That wasn't a mis-statement. I was saying I can see the argument against me. Unless I'm missing something.

Actually, you jumped on EF for voting for mccollins (post 1866), then talked about how it doesn't look good for me (1877). Can you show me where it was that you were sticking up for me?

VOTE PASSACAGLIA

Telle, out of the votes on me, you're the least likely in my mind to be a wolf. We've been in the same boat a little, lumped together by being scanned by Lathum. You'll notice that I took my vote off you as soon as I was sure you were a Mason. You'll also note that Sunny D voted for you earlier in the day, but switched the vote to me -- so I don't think that you can use his vote as evidence that I'm a wolf since, after all, he could just as easily left it on you (I think I'm talking about Day 3 here, not Day 4, but I'm not sure -- let me know if you want more info on this).

Danny 06-30-2008 02:36 PM

Because my analysis stands for you and Mccollins. I happened to quote the first vote, but that comment applies to all these early votes. Sorry, if I wasn't clear on that.

And it doesn't look great for you, but I'm encouraging people to put thought into their vote and to be suspicious of all these early votes as if one thing has been made clear in this game, we can very easily be wrong.

Same here, but Pass is the only one that calls me that so I've left him alone about it :)

First of all, it's not true to say the "primary" heat was on the other two, and not me. Secondly, I don't think it even matters.

Your post was made the exact same minute as the two votes that came through on me. I'm 99.99% sure that when you started your post, there were no votes on me. We need a "caught red-handed" emoticon!

Danny 06-30-2008 02:49 PM

In regard to sndvls it was primarily on two other players. If he switched his vote, he would have been able to lynch who he wanted. Still, he stuck with you. That means something, but there are still scenarios in which you could be good. That's why I want to see more analysis and discussion. I have believed you were good throughout this game, but obviously without much to go on, a seer vote doesn't look good. That's all I am saying.

Danny 06-30-2008 02:54 PM

There weren't any votes on you when I started typing my post. I quoted the first vote made. And as I said, my statement was made for all people who started jumping out to early votes. Whether it be on you, Mccollins or someone else.

I don't see any evidence that he was around in the last few minutes to switch his vote. He could have been, but I wasn't looking. Point is, when he made the vote, I was definitely a lynching possibility -- if one or two other votes had turned out differently, I could have been lynched.

But there were no votes on anyone else. So the only votes like this that actually existed were on mccollins. You know how you said you happened to quote the first vote? You come off as implying that there were other votes you could have chosen, when in fact, there weren't.

I probably should have made my point without quoting any vote, but my point stands, even more so now that you had those three quick votes on you.

Yeah, it might have helped you out a bit if you had done that. I don't disagree with your point -- thinking things through always helps (that was your point, right?). Luckily, people can unvote -- and people who say they were sticking up for Passacaglia might just end up voting for him, once they've "thought it through" -- it'll be interesting to see what happens!

Yeah, that's my point.

And you're right, I might very well vote for you, but there's other individuals I want to look at as well.
