Disappointing that I have unvoted the person you're not voting? Does it matter to you who I vote as you vote out my bannerman?

Autumn 06-05-2013 07:28 PM

(I must say I'm not enjoying the dice rolls CW is getting this game.)

Pray tell - of what do you speak Lord Stannis?

Coffee Warlord 06-05-2013 07:37 PM

I can easily answer - I provided a rational and logical reason for voting his man today, which would have been to his longer term benefit. He chose to get offended.

Julio Riddols 06-05-2013 07:39 PM

let me go to war for you, Robb.

Julio Riddols 06-05-2013 07:40 PM

At least then I can die with some honor.

Perhaps I have not been relayed the entire reason, as I saw no benefit in it for me.

Regardless, you cannot begrudge me the right to vote wherever I please in a vote in which I am losing.

Coffee Warlord 06-05-2013 07:54 PM

I provided your man with 2 distinct points, plus an additional note. If that was not what you received, then you need to have a talk with your man.

Autumn 06-05-2013 08:19 PM

I will check with him. feel free to send me your captive if you feel badly about my loss.

Coffee Warlord 06-05-2013 08:50 PM

To field a question posed to me via one of my bannermen - You're misinformed. None of the above.

Autumn 06-05-2013 09:00 PM

Well, it seems it doesn't matter where we vote unless someone else moves. So I'll just stick to the plan.

VOTE ASHA GREYJOY
CLAPHAMSA VOTES ASHA GREYJOY
INBLUE VOTE ASHA GREYJOY

Coffee Warlord 06-05-2013 09:27 PM

Seems to me captured bannermen tend to have a slightly longer lifespan in the North than elsewhere. Just saying.

fontisian 06-05-2013 09:28 PM

True that.

fontisian 06-05-2013 09:29 PM

Though, Stannis is your only competition.

Autumn 06-05-2013 09:42 PM

Kind of a bummer that even with two entire days to vote we still have so many no-votes.

Coffee Warlord 06-05-2013 09:57 PM

Agreed.

Coffee Warlord 06-05-2013 10:10 PM

Alright. I'm sick, I'm exhausted, we'll continue these shenanigans tomorrow.

The Jackal 06-05-2013 11:37 PM

[ooc] Ridiculous day/night at work, will respond to PMs now. [/ooc]

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 10:33 AM

Good morning, everyone.

I am running results right now. You will receive PMs shortly, and we'll get things kicked off for the day.

FINAL VOTE TALLY DAY 7

Lord Rickard Karstark (MrBug708): Theon (Julio Riddols)-- 1 vote

Asha Greyjoy (britrock88): Stannis (Autumn), Florent (claphamsa), Davos (InBlue)-- 4 votes

Ser Axell Florent (claphamsa): Brienne (fontisian), Penrose (Darth Vilus), Renly (path12), Balon (The Jackal), Asha (britrock88), Robb (Coffee Warlord), Karstark (MrBug708), Tywin (hoopsguy), Tyrion (Danny)-- 11 1/2 votes

NO LYNCH: Littlefinger (saldana)

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 10:55 AM

To this point, fortune has smiled on King Stannis and his bannermen. The focus of the realm did not fall on Dragonstone for long.

Alas, it is only a matter of time before the King's Justice comes calling.

The realm has called for the head of Ser Axell Florent! He is now an Enemy of the Realm.

Both Florent and King Stannis now face a choice. Florent may throw himself on the Mercy of his King, or he can Flee. Stannis's decision will be if Florent stays--will he grant him that Mercy, Disavow him or Kill him?

The clock is ticking.

DEADLINE FOR A DECISION FOR EITHER FLORENT OR STANNIS IS 4 P.M. EST (1 P.M. PDT)

I would make a joke about hearing that alot from my (ex) GF, but given recent circumstances, that doesn't seem like a good idea. ;)

Autumn 06-06-2013 10:57 AM

Notice, Robb, that your votes would have made it 8-7.5 Greyjoy.

Coffee Warlord 06-06-2013 10:58 AM

Indeed. And one half a vote from one of the neutrals would have tied it. A bad risk.

Coffee Warlord 06-06-2013 11:02 AM

Hmm. I smell mechanic change. Check the first page. Favored by the realm?

claphamsa 06-06-2013 11:03 AM

OMG MERCY

Autumn 06-06-2013 11:03 AM

You were here at deadline. That was not much of an issue.

You want every king to be your friend, I understand.

Autumn 06-06-2013 11:06 AM

I have no idea what that would mean, it's all the Hands.

Coffee Warlord 06-06-2013 11:07 AM

Except for the one chosen to be my enemy, it seems prudent, yes.

You've no idea how much work I did to help you out in this little conflict. And now you're rather foolishly spurning it.

Autumn 06-06-2013 11:08 AM

I will grant Ser Axell my mercy

How am I spurning it? I'm annoyed that my bannerman was just voted out. Wouldn't you have been if I had voted for Karstark, no matter what else I did to help you?

If you're a man of your word I will see that soon, but until I do I have to worry. Only a blind fool would do otherwise.

Julio Riddols 06-06-2013 11:12 AM

Hey Robb, I still love you brother.

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 11:12 AM

FAVORED BY THE REALM!!!

The people of Westeros have spoken!

The matter of a King is still to be decided. But there were always going to be three bannermen who would be favored by the realm to aid that King in his rule.

It seems that the people have chosen three worthy Lords as their anointed.

The following Lords are now FAVORED BY THE REALM!

Lord Rickard Karstark, Lord of the Karhold and Hand of the King to King Robb Stark, bannerman to House Stark

Ser Davos Seaworth known as "The Onion Knight", Lord of Cape Wrath and Hand of the King to King Stannis Baratheon, bannerman to House Baratheon of Dragonstone

Lady Asha Greyjoy, Hand of the King to King Balon Greyjoy, bannerman to House Greyjoy

These Lords will now enjoy immunity to all Enemy of the Realm votes, and their votes going forward will now count for 1 1/2 votes

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 11:13 AM

King Stannis has spoken--Ser Axell Florent will remain his bannerman and with House Dragonstone, even though his honor is stained by being an Enemy of the Realm.

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 11:17 AM

New Decrees Regarding the Enemy of the Realm

Voting for Enemy of the Realm is hereby suspended for today and for today only. Voting will begin again on Day Nine.

All current and past Enemies of the Realm are eligible to be voted for again. But this time, if they're voted for lynch--they die.

There will be no decisions to be made after the deadline.

Narcizo 06-06-2013 11:17 AM

(Ooc apologies for the ravens I haven't replied to. It's the National Day here. And in other news - looks like you're about to be voted again hoops, unless Theon is taken in again. Wonder what happens when there's no bannermen left to vote)

It happened a day earlier than it would have had to happen anyway. That's really the only difference.

And now it seems I carry the only remaining bannerman eligible to be voted, so it's utterly moot now.

Narcizo 06-06-2013 11:18 AM

(My timing rules)

Coffee Warlord 06-06-2013 11:19 AM

Or...not.

The others die

Autumn 06-06-2013 11:21 AM

A lovely new wrinkle.

Robb, I hope to send my emissary to you today if available. Or if you have one available, they could come to me.

It seems many have been closeted away for the past few days, I hope that we hear from them all today.

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 11:46 AM

The mighty fleet of Dragonstone has arrived on the shores below Storm's End! Thousands of Dragonstone men pour out onto the sand and prepare to do battle with King Renly and his host.

But, no! Approaching the front line is an emissary from Storm's End, waiving a white flag. The emissary reaches King Stannis and presents him with a scroll from the castellan at Storm's End.

It seems that King Renly has fled Storm's End in search of a better battlefield. The fortress keep of Storm's End has surrendered to King Stannis and the House Baratheon of Dragonstone!

WAR IS HEREBY DELAYED TO THE DAY EIGHT DEADLINE

King Renly's new spot of retreat will be announced by 3 p.m. EST/12 p.m. PDT

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 11:47 AM

The Storm's End emissary appears to be returning to the Storm's End war camp from diplomatic duties with King Joffrey of House Lannister.

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 11:50 AM

The Storm's End emissary at Pyke also appears to be sailing home to King Renly.

It appears that the emissary from King Greyjoy to Dragonstone is returning to Pyke.

Autumn 06-06-2013 11:52 AM

If someone was in Dragonstone, Balon, I never heard from them.

There is a good chance that a raven somehow did not reach a given destination, and as a result instructions to the emissary were missed.

This seems likely to be a mistake of the Seven or R'hllor or most likely, George R.R. Martin. ;)

Chief Rum 06-06-2013 01:03 PM

It appears that raiding has begun anew.

Both Storm's End's The Arbor and Dragonstone's Brightwater Keep were raided!

In both lands, the source of the raiders remain unknown, but the raiders of The Arbor were particularly brutal and nasty.

Coffee Warlord 06-06-2013 01:14 PM

Which direction you wanna do emissaries, Stannis?
