Well played, Danny.
Vote Thomkal |
Hahaha... that was the best way to get an answer ever......
|
I'm not suggesting a straight run, but it looks poor for Thom.
|
Guys, I feel pretty good about Thomkal being a wolf now. Telle had two early votes on CR, would be wolf-wolf, but I dont think so as that is a lot of danger to put the wolf seer in potentially.
|
I'm going to look awful as it is by switching from CR to Telle so I'll roll the dice here I guess:
unvote Telle vote Thomkal |
Quote:
I was actually feeling pretty good about Telle having dropped an early vote on CR, thinking no one would follow her. I agree with what you're saying about Thomkal as well, though. |
Unvote Telle
Vote Thomkal |
Quote:
I guess I should say a lot of that is predicated around the fact that she's not here now. |
But do you do that on the wolf seer?
|
There was a lynch at post 1653. Write up shortly.
|
Quote:
I dunno. I haven't exactly processed what a wolf seer is at this point. |
To the PM sent at 8:48 eastern *nods*
|
Quote:
Finally! Out for a while to watch my neighbor's cat. |
Damn, hopefully Telle is a wolf too. Whatever happens, I think Thomkal is the lynch tomorrow. If someone has a kill ability, might not be a bad idea to use it on him either.
|
Sorry, should've thought about that more before quickly jumping on the bandwagon. We'll learn from this vote.

Yeah it's fine Henry, we still learn some things and we can get THomkal tomorrow.

I suspect a wolf in the group that jumped off telle to thomkal.

PM @ 5:06PM...yes. after recent events continue on?

Too late, Dad! I'm already dead. I'm hanging out with mom now. She says, screw you, too. :) |
Quote:
I actually don't think so. Possible, but I don't think based on the players who did so. |
The feeling of success is mitigated somewhat when it is announced that Dr. Lewis Simon has disappeared, only moments before he was to be taken into custody for questioning. Simon, a well regarded infectious disease specialist, is believed to have had ties to the Conspiracy. Whether is he gone because he is dead or working to other ends is something that CTU will have to figure out.
In the meantime it is decided that agent Telle is a fellow mole with the departed Kim Bauer and so her security clearance is revoked. Unfortunately, unlike Kim, this was a loyal government computer expert. Quote:
The investigation moved forward today. DHS hopes that progress will continue. |
I have been freed from my silence. The person I was investigating has been shot dead, thus ending the investigation.
I'll lay it on the line now. The first day that I went underground I was given a list. On that list CR was listed as questionable. I presented that to DT and cautioned that by the wording I wasn't sure if it could be trusted (though I didn't know if it was atmosphere or game related). By the wording I wasn't sure if maybe I was the "fake seer" type of role in this game. My frustration came when DT did not want to act on that and instead got a villager lynched for the second consecutive day. The first day he got the character lynched whom I explicitly asked him to protect (I didn't know who it was but what the role was which I assume he has been told by everyone), making me even more confused about what he is doing. If he didn't know KWhit's character, that will be different. I had a chance to either investigate someone from the list today if I went underground and get more and probably definitive information about them, or get "other" information which was not specified (I am guessing another list). Unfortunately I currently don't know if I have any more powers to use. I originally thought I could only go dark once but later received a PM saying I could do it again with more risk to myself (no in thread mention so I would be going silent with no way to defend myself with posts). The way this game seems to have unexected events who knows, maybe (hopefully) I will have another chance to do something to contribute. |
Not too surprising, a wolf doesn't place the wolf seer in danger like that.
Vote Thomkal Wolves might night kill me after this, but I'm putting in my vote now anyway :) |
catching up - still 20 minutes behind live-action
|
Final vote count:
Telle: path (1502, 4:49 pm) saldana (1515 6:28 pm) Purdue (1560, 7:30 PM) nfg (1632 8:36 pm) ntn (1639 8:39 pm) henry (1653 8:43 pm) nfg Jackal: Thomakl (1411, 2:24 PM) Pass (1425 2:57 pm) iSidiqui (1465 3:52 pm) Danny: Autumn (1450, 3:21 PM) |
beautiful job there NTN
well played Danny! Gratifying to see you pickup the ball and run with it in the right direction as i was headed home |
I got my vote for Thomkal in before the lynch, even if it ended up not mattering :)

Thanks! I am glad this class is boring too or I probably would not have brought my laptop. |
@8:29pm - sorry i wasn't back yet
@ntn - well done!!! |
*moving danny and ntn around on my lists*
i'd also like to point out that CR was on my "can't verify ability at all" list, thus somewhat validating that approach. |
what's the logic behind going after Thomkal?
not saying I don't agree at all (Thomkal is firmly "NI" and "verifying his ability would be very tricky publicly"), just want to be brought up to speed |
DT, I'll have some more info for you tonight, I think I get my PM back in an hour or so.
|
Vote nfg
I still think he is bad and with CR down 5-4 he voted Telle to tie it up. |
Quote:
Hahah - that's good. you go hang out with the bitch. :D |
I came out with the info on CR, he subtlety defended him in one post, but for the most part was silent and was clearly not going to vote for CR. I took that clearly as a wolf in the headlights who didn't know how to react. He also was the first vote on Jackal today which I found suspicious (as I pointed out before I even knew about CR, I was going to vote Thom when I got back if there was more time) and I believe Jackal is telling the truth now most likely.

Quote:
fyi - i didn't know kwhit's character's name EF. or i would have protected him for you. and i had other plans for Chief Rum - he was our next seer-scan, and with still having questions about your allegience (still do to be honest) I wanted to get a 100% reading on him. but i didn't want to share that with you in case you were evil and had the power to affect the scan. |
FWIW, I have EF on my fairly high trust list.
|
Danny I was following up on your theory of voting this afternoon because I agreed with it, and voted for jackal because there were already votes on nfg and didn't want a runaway vote. Many of us have done that during this game. I truly thought you were being played by whomever sent you that PM, and so I didn't move my vote-not to Telle which might have tipped her over to a lynch and thus saved Chief Rum if I really was a wolf. Nor to Chief Rum because I thought you were being played.
I was obviously wrong about you being played, so now it looks like I will be played instead for not believing you when I should have and you'll lose another government worker. Not much I can do about it at this point. |
bah - so we lost telle.
she was "MT" or medium-trust because she had been boosting my ability to send PM's everday so I had 8 to send instead of 4. Not on the high-trust list (and i did state multiple times that she was MT for you guys), but it was one of those things where I thought it was possible a wolf might be using that power to try to gain trust with me and work their way into the CoT. Sorry to have lost her - sorry about that Telle. My ability to respond to PM's will now be more limited than it was. |
Right now my distrust is clearly Thomkal 1st and NFG doesn't look great either although DT seems to be pretty sure about him. Still, there is no way I am not voting Thomkal today.
|
Quote:
based on? care to elaborate via PM? |
Quote:
Right now I am on adrenaline from the CR stuff. I will reevaluate things more objectively tonight when I am home, but I definitely read you as a wolf today. I'll see if that holds up tonight |
Quote:
Not a defense of Thom but a question. Has he played WW much? I honestly don't remember playing in a game with him before (I have not played in many games, compared to most WW vets, so this may not really mean anything). I was curious as I have no idea about his play style or "level" of play. |
Quote:
I will elaborate tonight in my PM. He is not the highest on my list, but I feel pretty good about him. |
Quote:
Beep, beep, beep, beep... |

Last game, he seemed to be pretty on top of things. I was very impressed with his play |
Today was a great day, we caught a wolf and I think we learned a lot from the pressure placed upon other players. My vote analysis will come tonight when I get home.
|
Quote:
I appreciate that you will give me that chance Danny. Great job on the Chief Rum front though, just couldn't believe it so that's why I had the "deer in the headlights" cause I didn't know which way to go and was hoping for more info. |
