If the choice is my own bannerman or that of Robb Stark, I choose other. I have never seen nor heard from this Asha Greyjoy yet she would sit at the feet of the Iron Throne and rule the realm? I have no issue with the Greyjoys other than their untimely attempt to enter this game, but they are the clear choice today.

VOTE ASHA GREYJOY/BRITROCK88

MrBug708 06-04-2013 08:41 PM

I trust my diplomacy skills bought me a one day reprieve?

Either way, thank you Stannis

Coffee Warlord 06-04-2013 08:43 PM

I really need to have a word with the raven handlers - fuckers need to breed more of these damned birds.

Bollocks. You grasp half-truths in a blatant attempts to save your own bannerman.

Your Liege Lord has sealed such action. It makes sense that he would not seek out his recent ally with such a vote, but they will no doubt turn on each other soon.

I know little of you, Florent, but I will not stand for continued abuse of my family.

You could just as easily cast your ire on Karstark. Don't pretend you are not also playing this game of thrones. Of course i will not turn on the Starks as I head into battle. I have no reason to think you wish to aid me. But I wonder who it is you do side with, or do you just hope to sit back and latch on to a stronger king?

I have my reasons for not choosing Karstark, but I need not reveal them to you.

I side with the Drowned God, may all ships and men not of my fleet meet him in the coming days.

The Jackal 06-04-2013 08:55 PM

I do wonder what the honorable Lord Selmy thinks of the run of pretenders that have laid claim to the throne since the Mad King was deposed. There were other, better Targaryens.

Does the dragon blood flow in me? No. But neither does a betrayer's.

Me and my men are out of ravens for the day, Stannis. If you have a bannerman with a bird remaining, it would be best.

Yes, that would have made a difference I'm sure.

It's the little things that count, brother. Declaring war on me, seizing my lands, condemning my bannermen ...

I'm not sure they'll be around but I will see.

DaddyTorgo 06-04-2013 09:14 PM

My ravens are on their way shortly. I apologize for the delay in my response.

[ooc] Hard to get back to folks before deadline when I'm just now getting my daily report [/ooc]

....murdering my bannerman, demanding rather than negotiating, being a pompous ass in general.....

path12 06-04-2013 09:16 PM

Out until after deadline.

DaddyTorgo 06-04-2013 09:18 PM

[ooc] Wish we could get back on a schedule where we got daily reports and then had hours to act on what was in them before deadline, instead of the day's daily reports brushing up against deadline like they are now. That's my sole complaint, and lord knows I know you're busting your ass Chief. [/ooc]

Autumn 06-04-2013 09:20 PM

(messaging delays are difficult, but clearly understandable. I wonder if just going to a 2-day system per day would make sense.)

[ooc] oh yeah, absolutely understandable. not blaming chief...just feel bad because people send ravens to me and i delay them as i await my daily report so that i have something to say, and then by the time i get my reports it's too late for the people to react to what i have to say. two days per day system works for me [/ooc]

The Jackal 06-04-2013 09:28 PM

[ooc] I also approve of two days per day [/ooc]

Coffee Warlord 06-04-2013 09:28 PM

(My only worry there is I'm pretty sure this game is gonna be a long one as it is, and going to a 2 day system may make it EXTREMELY long)

The Jackal 06-04-2013 09:30 PM

We shall see what comes of this vote, but I assure you that I will not be casting out my daughter as there is no viable charge levied against her. I would trust none other more with the care of my ships.

Coffee Warlord 06-04-2013 09:33 PM

Shouldn't wait any longer. Stannis? If I get the bird tonight, we'll talk. If not, we'll talk tomorrow. There's several reasons to this, however - don't rush to the wrong judgement here.

Vote Axell Florent / Clap
Karstark/MrBug votes Axell Florent / Clap

Autumn 06-04-2013 09:34 PM

(since no one else has been signing up for werewolf games, I say who cares!)

Autumn 06-04-2013 09:35 PM

Disappointing. You may get a bird if Ser Axell returns but perhaps not. He is busy drawing up war plans.

Coffee Warlord 06-04-2013 09:36 PM

It's an unfortunate necessity today. You'll understand soon.

InBlue 06-04-2013 09:38 PM

"Busy drawing up war plans" sounds like a euphemism for something, like going to the bathroom.

"Hey, come look at this!"
"I can't! I'm... busy drawing up war plans."

saldana 06-04-2013 09:38 PM

We toss all Axell's plans in the fire after, of course. He's not very good at it. You should see him sticking his tongue out of his mouth while he tries to draw the little people.

Coffee Warlord 06-04-2013 09:40 PM

My wife just gave me a strange look after I bust out laughing at that comment.

Autumn 06-04-2013 09:42 PM

It is interesting that out of houses Stark, Baratheon and Greyjoy, the crowd chooses to pick on mine. Surely you all realize that Stark has more land than the rest of the realm, undoubtedly more men and gold. You surely all can't expect to curry his favor.

Chief Rum 06-04-2013 09:47 PM

Just a head's up...

I hate to get personal, but I feel the situation calls for it.

As you all have seen, it has been very slow with yesterday's results. Partly that is the usual stuff (this is a very difficult and time consuming game to run).

But as it turns out, my GF and I are fighting and we may be breaking up tonight. It has been very hard for me today.

So I apologize to you all for any hold ups and long delays.

I will need to delay the deadline to Day Seven until tomorrow night, because I don't think I will be able to run it tonight. Hell, I have no idea what's going to happen tonight.

Not looking for sympathy, I just want to explain. Thanks everyone for your understanding. I thnik when I get home I'll watch the DVR of GOT from this past weekend. I suspect that will help me a lot with my mindset. :banghead:

Autumn 06-04-2013 09:49 PM

(Hmm, maybe something more light hearted would be good viewing, or at least less violent ...

Sorry to hear that, Chief. It helps to know though so we won't be a pain in the butt about it.)

Coffee Warlord 06-04-2013 09:50 PM

Fuck, dude. Take as much time as you need.

Was around to cover the vote on my own. Just wanted to make sure we were in alignment before casting it.

Alan T 06-04-2013 09:53 PM

Sorry Chief, hope everything works out ok :(

saldana 06-04-2013 09:54 PM

bummer man, sorry to hear...RL always trumps WW, deal with whats most important.

Coffee Warlord 06-04-2013 09:55 PM

THOUGH.

If the last episode you DVR'd was Episode 9. I'd kinda prefer you NOT watch that one to get in the mood. :)

Autumn 06-04-2013 09:55 PM

Just to be clear are we moving the deadline or just the results?

hoopsguy 06-04-2013 09:56 PM

Agree that Sunday's GOT episode may not be ideal if there is any interest in a reconciliation. Hope that you get the outcome you seek with your personal situation.

Day Seven deadline in whole will move to tomorrow night.

Chief Rum 06-04-2013 09:59 PM

Thanks everyone.

And, yes, I was talking about this most recent GOT epsiode. Yeah, it's not all lovey-dovey, but it would be cathartic if things go the way I expect them to, in a "well, that's that" sorta way.

The Jackal 06-04-2013 10:06 PM

Dude, don't worry about it one bit. Let any number of us know if you want to chat/vent/talk about GoT.

MrBug708 06-04-2013 10:17 PM

Vote - chief rum's woman!

Take care of things Matt!

JAG 06-04-2013 10:22 PM

Very sorry to hear about the personal crisis Chief, best of luck to you navigating it.

Julio Riddols 06-04-2013 10:34 PM

If it helps, I'll sign on as your bannerman and you can be Dany.
