This rule set sounds complicated but also incredibly open ended, which I like. Should be fun.

That's the idea actually. I'm less setting this game up to be strictly rule based as much as setting up a world with some general rules. Then giving everyone a role and saying, go at it, may the best King win.

It could go great, or frankly, it could fall completely flat, since you guys always come up with things I didn't think of. :D
