How would the vote be tied? You can't vote for yourself.

This is a new situation for you. A village like yours depends on the trust and help of your neighbors. But now? Now one of your neighbors has turned into a creature. A creature of nearly unspeakable evil. You don't quite know where to look and finally your gaze turns to Jackal. No one's quite sure why, but you think "Yes he's an evil. He must be killed to preserve our way of life." So you kill him. Details aren't necessary, but let's just say it was bloody. As you do it you keep waiting for him to transform, or turn into something evil. For some sign you had done the right thing. But no sign comes. All that comes is a struggle which goes on and on, before the life finally seeps from Jackal's body. If there's one person who could have taken a werewolf 1 on 1, it was Jackal.

It's now Night 1. Deadline is 9 AM Eastern or when I have night actions from the seer and from the wolves.

claphamsa 06-09-2008 09:22 PM

interestign yet unimportant roll..... can i vote PB yet?

The Jackal 06-09-2008 09:23 PM

Smooth guys.

DaddyTorgo 06-09-2008 09:23 PM

damnit - that writeup sounds like jackal was the bodyguard

Axxon 06-09-2008 09:24 PM

Damn.

claphamsa 06-09-2008 09:25 PM

he was the hunter... its an irrelevat roll... but a roll :( more important than say me :( if you dont know look at post 2. the GM will update it with rolls of dead peiople...

DaddyTorgo 06-09-2008 09:25 PM

lol okay so there was no bodyguard, but I guess that hunter is the closest thing to one

Axxon 06-09-2008 09:27 PM

I'm not sure how the hunter works exactly. Does it just mean that if the last two alive are the hunter and a wolf then we win?

Racer 06-09-2008 09:28 PM

Darn. Where did it say he was the hunter though?

claphamsa 06-09-2008 09:28 PM

yeah, but thats roulette odds. better than nothgin but.....

claphamsa 06-09-2008 09:29 PM

I think it depends on whether or not either of the wolves (I'm assuming there's only 2 wolves based on the game rules) were in danger of being lynched.

Barkeep49 06-09-2008 10:25 PM

It seems like it was just night, but now it's day again. Perhaps the night was short because of your fear. Your fear at teeth sinking into your body and mauling you until you join the afterlife. Fortunately that fear was completely irrational. Completely irrational for everyone except Lathum. For him fearing death by werewolf attack was quite reasonable.

It is now Day 2. Deadline is 10 PM Eastern Tuesday.

The Jackal 06-09-2008 10:30 PM

that's what you get for voting for me you sumbitch

The Jackal 06-09-2008 10:30 PM

maybe i'm drunk too ;)

i'll shut up now, good luck village. :)

claphamsa 06-10-2008 06:14 AM

vote pb

Axxon 06-10-2008 07:26 AM

Morning again folks.

VOTE claphamsa

claphamsa 06-10-2008 07:37 AM

any reason Axxon?

PurdueBrad 06-10-2008 07:45 AM

Hey guys,

Everything is good (except last night's vote results). Had a bunch of unexpected tests and crap for my Crohn's so turned into a long day.

Anyway, let me throw this out there now:

vote Claphamsa

Vote may not stick there.

Axxon 06-10-2008 07:51 AM

Well, I can't really think of a good enough reason to change my vote at this point.

There are a couple of things that confuse me. You flipped off PB, who you still supposedly suspect without really explaining why and then just as suddenly wanted to flip off LSG but stated you couldn't because you'd be tied though you wouldn't be. I'm still not sure who you wanted to flip to and no other vote would have really mattered anyway. Struck me as odd though I certainly know about tipping a few.

Still, the jumping around without saying why confuses things and that strikes me as nonproductive at this point.

Again, I'm nowhere near convinced and my vote is absolutely subject to change.

I agree with Racer here. Even though I am part of this group, I'm not sure you can rush to make that judgment. If there wasn't a wolf in danger, then you can't make that assumption. I think trying to do so is simply conjuring up suspicion where it isn't necessarily needed.

Also, looking back at the rules, there is no bodyguard apparently, so the seer is by far our most valuable role. Hopefully he/she can scan a wolf tonight and get us back on path.

Claph, I'll answer here as well.

First, such a strong play against me when I'm not bad is an attention grabber but more importantly, I'm not used to you playing so aggressive which could ping my wolfdar. I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt though that you are trying to take a leadership role in the game rather than trying to steer votes. If there is another way you want to go, let me know your thoughts.

Ok good enought, I suspce PB becasue he is usualy very talkative, and seems to be UTR (real life isues?)

I voted for LSG last ngiht, becasue she hadnt checked in... But then she did check in with a legit reason as to why she had been gone. So I forgave her :) but there was no one else to vote for.

jumping aroudn is usualy a bad idea, but i only moved my vote once, thats not jumping around :)

a good reason. I am trying ot be helpful since we seem to have a lot of N00bs... :)

I dont really have anywhere to stear the votes (not the seer) I will gladly listen to any other ideas, and I hope your crones issues are better :)

Axxon 06-10-2008 08:00 AM

OK, so where do we go from here then?

Axxon 06-10-2008 08:01 AM

You have Crohns PB? Man, I'm sorry. Hope it's not acting up too bad and gets better soon.

PurdueBrad 06-10-2008 08:02 AM

I'm to the point where we may have to start voting for newer players, which I hate to do (and is really why Jackal got my day one vote, although I am surprised at the run). I'm going to go back and see if any of the newer players ping anything and go from there.

Thx Axxon. We were down at Rush Medical Center in Chicago to possibly try a newer, semi-experimental drug. So we'll see if we go for that. I've been stuck on steroids for about a year and a half and while I feel good, the side-effects (weight gain, bone issues, etc.) are brutal.

Axxon 06-10-2008 08:07 AM

That explains the ping thing. I hadn't understood that when clap had said it earlier but now it makes sense.

Never heard the term used that way and thought it was talking about some sort of communication. :)

PurdueBrad 06-10-2008 08:09 AM

Yeah, basically means setting off the radar.

claphamsa 06-10-2008 08:50 AM

Hey if we say something you dont understand ask....
PB I kinda agree, i dont think BK would put 2 N00bs as wolves.... but the only ones who have played before are you me and DT.....
