These two comments seem strange to me. It may be that peregrine realized that he let it slip that he was waiting on a PM - giving us more information than he meant to about one of the wolves/seer/doctor etc... So he backpedalled and tried to convince us he really had the PM after all.

I think (since we don't have much else to go on) that we need to focus on one of people who hadn't posted at the time of peregrine's initial comment that he was waiting on a PM.

If there were bodyguards and an attempted killing, Just stating the choices that would have some logic to them to be protected and that I could state a case for. Anyone else would just be too random and wily nily to have both the bodyguards and wolf pick. There is absolutely no reason to have picked say.. Airhog by both the bodyguard & wolf because there is no history there..

Just throwing that out there if you subscribe to the No Killings is because of protection.

Here's the explaination: I came home at 3 AM PST last night in no condition to post anything coherent. Naturally my first instinct was to go to bed. That was the first time I was home since 3 PM PST yesterday.

I unfortunately woke up around 9 AM PST this morning to discover the inuendo had already begun. Notice the PST, that is 3 hours behind EST. I would love to have been up at 6 AM to chat, but I'm afraid that just wasn't in the cards. I can supply witnesses if necessary.

Now, I put it to you condors, why so quick to accuse anyone? Scared of what the microscope might find if it stays on you too long?

Yeah, the chances for the bodyguard and the werewolves to both pick the same person would be somewhere on the order of 0.5% (We can't figure out the exact amount because we don't know how many wolves and how many bodyguards there are.) Therefore, I suspect that there never was going to be a killing on the 1st night.

Possibilities:

1. No killing because of the bodyguard's protection.

2. No killing due to peregrine's choice.

3. No killing because the Cursed was targeted - and now he's a werewolf.

There's a joke in there somewhere, but I'm too heavily paranoid, drunk, and armed to figure it out right now.

I also think it would be too random for there to be an attempted killing. Unless both picked someone from last game that would be an obvious pick. That theory would also likely mean that the werewolves (or at least 1) is someone from last game with an axe to grind. The odds of both picking the same 1 in 19 would be high.

I'm suspicous of both Lathum and Condors. Lathum was voted off first and all the villagers were sad for him. Some have even said they wouldn't vote for him first this road. Seems like the perfect person for Peregrine to make a werewolf for this road. Condors is suspicious because... well... I always vote for him :D

on an unrelated note, this game is really good for increasing post counts. :)

eh.. I hope everything is a little more random otherwise everyone will fall into that trap of Hey, X was a wolf last time he couldn't be a wolf this time or vice versa.. could lead to alot of unnecessary lynchings.

Depending on other people's logic, I might just go for the least active poster without a valid explanation. going to be lazy and cost someone else a spot.. it'll cost ya. :D

I agree that I hope everything is more random than any predictable patterns based on the last game.

I'm guessing that all of the roles were given out randomly. That is really the only way to do things fairly.

At this point, I think I'm leaning towards Condors, but I don't have really good reason for it.

Ok, so I am a bit tardy to the party but that doesn't mean I'm evil! I swear!

I wasn't expecting a killing on the first night really, and now am basically in the process of trying to figure out who I am going to have to look out for, I am almost compelled to just lock my room up and stay inside until I deem it is safe.

I really have no idea. Its hard with only half or so of the people posting. Hopefully we'll hear from the quieter ones later on.

Just because I have cast my vote doesn't mean I will not change it. Let us take a look at NoMyth's sketchiness, shall we?

First, NoMyths feels it is necessary to lurk, going an entire page (50 posts for me) without posting. As soon as someone questions the people who have been quiet, NoMyths comes out and feels that he MUST say he is a villager, right off the bat, very unusual compared to everyone else.

Again, here, NoMyths asserts that he wants everyone's help so he can be kept safe for this journey. King Pimp? How does one earn such a title? Do "pimps" bite their prey on the neck?

Desperate to get attention on someone else, NM tries unsuccessfully to have people try and lynch a player not even involved in the game.

With the deadline tonight, NM feels some urgency and seriously tries to get people to turn their heads to someone else, Eaglesfan. The wink fools no one, NoMyths is trying to let everyone get their minds off of him and onto anyone else.

He "playfully" tries to make out the leader to be a werewolf. Poorly played.

And finally, NoMyths' latest attempt to jump on somebody, again trying to make another person a suspect. The more people suspects, the less likely he'll be exposed as a werewolf himself.
