Hey, ya'll are spending quality time with Yaks, Trout, Squid, and Rhinos. Things could be worse.

Just saw this. I too get frustrated with being falsely accused, and it happens almost every game that I am a villager! That said, there are degrees of frustration and I think most of the time a player has the ability to shape the conversation through their posts rather than have to sit back and take it.

Everyone has their own approach, every situation is different, yada, yada, yada. I just know that when I'm a good guy I'm going to work as hard as I possibly can, with the amount of time I have that day, to not be the one picked because I know I'm a bad selection.

There are also certain playing styles that are more likely to attract attention, and accusations are part of the territory with attention. I normally like to push the action as early in the game as possible, rather than wait for the game to unfold. It is a lot of fun when it works, and a lot of hard work defending bad decisions when it doesn't. If you are finding yourself in a spot where you have to defend yourself more than you would like, perhaps it is a good time to evaluate what kind of in-game behavior is creating those situations. It is possible to change your behavior and your "WW rep" over time if you are interested in doing so.

sometimes it does soemtimes it doesnt... varies by game.

usualy not. Sometimes if you are a wolf it can interfere with communicating with othe rwolves.

Usually if you are upfront about your schedule the way chief rum has been this game people will cut you some slack.

The wolves, normally speaking, know each other from the time the game starts.

Yeah, generally the wolves both know who each other are, but can also communicate and coordinate with each other via PM or email. Villagers cannot communicate with each other except in thread and don't know who anyone else is.

Generally. There's always an exception somewhere, but those are spelled out in advance.

The other rule I like to tell any new player is that you can always trust me to tell the truth.

I'd like to say I was killed early, but I wasn't. However, this is probally the longest I've lasted as a wolf in a long time too ;)

First time I've been voted off on WW. I had a good feeling on 2-3 of the remaining wolves, so it was probably a good move by the wolf contingent. ;)

okay, so this probably doesn't qualify as early, but...um, i'm doing it so hoops can achieve his dream of getting this thread to beat the MF thread. Yeah, that's it.

Anyway, this worked out pretty well for me -- it's lurker's birthday, and we're going out to dinner (provided I feel well enough). It'd be pretty lame if I were thinking about the WW deadline the whole time! :p

i dont know why i bother to play...by the time the game gets interesting, i am dead (just like i am now).

the good news is, i think i am going to be able to start playing regularly again, so maybe i can live longer next game.

yup. I was looking forward to diving in. My wife is going to Cali on Thursday for the weekend.

Looking back through this game it is taylor made for me to die early. Because of the way I play I am almost always a target for early scans. Then you factor in that we get the most information by lynching the person who had the most scans ( if you subscribe to that theory) I really didn't stand a chance.

I enjoy the fact that you are vocal and hope you continue to play. Just keep in mind the more attention you draw to yourself the more questions people are going to ask, especuially day one when people are looking for a reason to vote someone off with no information available.

Yeah...I just like to interact and look at things. My problem is I am hasty and dont always check what I say. I go off of feelings too, these change. It seems people will go after you with the smallest inconsistency.

We need to rename this thread to get rid of "early" as it is clear people want to vent upon death, no matter if it is early, middle, or late.

People do indeed want to vent about all sorts of deaths. I just don't feel bad when a guy gets to Night 6 though and bites it, especially a guy who played as an important of a role as JH did.

To be honest, on day 3 when you got lynched, about 5 minutes before lynch I had horrible flashbacks to the Resident Evil game, and was trying to think of what to PM you if I was wrong about you here.. I worried you would vote me day 1 from here on forever!

Pretty much the same thing that happened in this game.. with one minor detail different.. I was completely wrong.

I basically insisted to everyone that you must be bad, and if I was wrong vote me out the next day, etc... and everyone voted you out and you were good... I don't remember the details of why i did it or why I thought you were bad or whatever.. but I do remember that I don't think I have ever been so wrong in a WW game in my life as that. :)
