The latest ESPN: The Body Issue is stunning.
ESPN the Magazine -- The Body Issue - ESPN Apart from Apollo and Blake, I don't recognize the athlete (since there's no caption). Can someone put names to the bodies? |
Looks like there are names at the bottom left corner of the screen if you are looking at the slideshow. Pretty well done.
|
Dola : Looked at 2010 edition and saw me some Patrick Willis pubes. haha.
Edit: And Hershel Walker looks like he could still play some ball, isn't he like 50?? |
Hope Solo can come water my lawn any time she likes.

Thanks, my screen had cut most of that out. Apolo has amazing thighs and I'll eagerly await the "Making of..." video for Hope Solo ![]() |

I think this is what they mean on Seinfeld on the episode where they talked about "bad naked." Watering the lawn is definitely "good naked" though. |
Second time today I had to google someone that I didn't know.
This time, it was Lolo Jones. Very beautiful photo in that and some great ones online. The first? Was making a power point earlier and had looked up images of Indiana. Indiana Evans kept popping up. Well worth the google there too. |

Huh, a case where Indiana trumps Florida in the looks department. |

There's one of those where the girl is freaking out but the guy is staring straight at it with a slight smile on his face. Not sure what they're looking at, but I vote him most likely to be a serial killer.
|
Great...now there's T-Rex's in the shower. Where's Norman Bates when you need him?

I pretty much agree with that. As beautiful as Natalie is, I don't think her shaved head fit. It didn't make her look ugly though. As for Emma, she's not ugly, but, she isn't 'WOW' and the short hair doesn't help and plus the shape of her head doesn't help either. |
That's not a raptor!

Did everyone leave for the weekend already?
EDIT: And why is this post of mine in the pictures thread, when I clicked on the Random Thoughts thread? |
haha, nice find cartman. I had tears.

Those Flickr images. I looked at the 1st after reading your title as a haunted house. I thought the scary image was the big girl trying to get the guy and the guy was scared to death and trying to run away.. Then I realized, the people were being scared by something else.

As awesome as all of these scene photographs are, I take most of them with a grain of salt (i.e., superb digital art, just not real photographs). |

Probably the best trick that was nearly impossible to do before is the advent of HDR. |
Quote:
Except that pre-digital photographs that had been separated or printed in layers were a different artform (e.g., composited photographs or multi-plane camera). It was unethical to pass off post-process subject alterations as a true photograph. Enhancing, masking, dodging were attempts to bring a print closer to the reality of what was seen in nature, given the technological limitations. Our eyes act as natural filters (e.g., more polarized than glass to reduce glare) as well as enhanced depth of field. But much of it depended upon the light that was given, not made to produce artificial colors, brightness and saturation that wasn't there in the first place. |

I don't think so. You can totally tell the wood floor has been touched up. |
