I could be wrong, but, I think it's comparing their sizes and some of the features. iPad has more storage (by 2 gig), more RAM and a faster processor?

I'm not sure if it's totally fair to compare the 56k modem of the first with whatever the second has. Even the PC I bought in 2001 had an ethernet card for high speed (as well as a 56k port). I remember buying it to play EverQuest, which I started playing right before 9/11.
