I do care about some things, but not whij one of you get voted out. But I was bored

Danny 05-28-2013 08:45 PM

Oh I will take bribes for my vote by the way. You'd really think the houses would be doing more to garner support for the neutrals

Autumn 05-28-2013 08:47 PM

You're free to ask. I think those of us in the houses have our allotment of ravens accounted for every day. There's not one left to ask a dwarf if there's some way he can help us. You'd have to actually tell us something.

Danny 05-28-2013 08:48 PM

Tell me in here, but the best way is to send me money

Autumn 05-28-2013 08:48 PM

For what? A half a vote?

hoopsguy 05-28-2013 08:49 PM

Very well - the first faction to guarantee me 2,000 gold today can direct my vote to a candidate of their choosing this evening.

No guarantees that the price tag will remain the same in future days, but as a "neutral for a day" I'll make that offer to the would-be lords of our land.

Danny 05-28-2013 08:52 PM

Half?

Or more maybe send me some money to control my vote for two days, I'm willing to negotiate. Getting a leg up in the other houses is pretty important. That said, you seem to not care about my support and are insulting so until bribed otherwise yiur house has my vote

Autumn 05-28-2013 08:53 PM

You realize your vote only counts as one half a vote, right Tyrion, like all hte neutral characters? I'm not being glib.

mauchow 05-28-2013 08:56 PM

I'm pretty upset at all of you. Varys I will likely be leaning your route if it transpires.

I will send you 2,000 gold to vote with me, Tywin.

What?

Autumn 05-28-2013 08:58 PM

Clearly Ser Axell Florent is no enemy of the realm. Brienne I have no problem with, but I cannot vote for my brother, whose betrayals sting deeply. If I can hurt him by stripping away his bannermen I shall.

Autumn 05-28-2013 08:58 PM

I think Selmy is saying he's going to become a eunuch.

If he does, then there goes his hopes of "bedding Cersei."

If it is information you seek, asking the Imp would not be the best of ideas. Now hiring some little birds to help you find what you want to know...one might find that to be much more prudent.

What betrayal is that?

Autumn 05-28-2013 09:06 PM

Perhaps the two times you have voted to make my bannermen enemies of the realm, brother? Not the best sign of familial love and support.

Danny 05-28-2013 09:09 PM

I didn't know about the half of a vote thing. Well my vote is still up for grabs t the highest bidder, how about send me 1000 a day for my vote.

How many of those votes are there now brother? And who has been sending ravens and/or envoys to whom? I see lots of demands from you and not a lot else.

You are either going to decide to trust me or no. I would see that vote revoked before you expect me to take yet another step.

I expect that you will honor your word. As the first to agree to the terms, let me know where I should cast the vote. I expect to be around up until the deadline.

Should I trust Robb Stark, who has never voted against me, or you who have voted against me twice? I'd have to be quite a gambler to choose you, Renly, and you know I'm not a gambler. I don't think asking you not to vote against my people is asking too much. You had a choice between voting Stark or Baratheon and you voted Baratheon, simple as that. No one who I could trust to be at my side would have done that.

So no, I will not revoke my vote. I can't think of a single reason why I should. can you? Because you unvoted? A trustworthy brother never would have made the vote to begin with.

Might I suggest leaving the little birds out of it altogether and coming to the Master of Whispers?

I have all sorts of information - and I do not ask for gold, or for lands & titles as some of my fellows do. My loyalty is not for sale and subject to the whims of coin purses.

hoopsguy 05-28-2013 09:21 PM

VOTE BRIENNE OF TARTH

bhlloy 05-28-2013 09:26 PM

My god Renly, are you still pathetic enough to be tiptoeing around your brother in the hope that he doesn't decide to make you the second house out of the game. "I'm sowwy Stannis". Pretty sad really. No wonder nobody ever thought you had a chance to be king.

vote Ser Axell Florent

Coffee Warlord 05-28-2013 09:27 PM

Greyjoy (Lathum) votes for Brienne of Tarth (Clap)
Karstark (MrBug) votes for Brienne of Tarth (Clap)
Bolton (JAG) votes for Brienne of Tarth (Clap)

Autumn 05-28-2013 09:27 PM

yet you are siding with him. A strange choice. Would you like to join the men, or stick with the Waffling King?

DaddyTorgo 05-28-2013 09:27 PM

My regards to Lord Joffrey. Your raven flew true and reached me a short while ago M'Lord.

path12 05-28-2013 09:28 PM

You have chosen, brother.

SER LORAS (MURRA5Y) VOTES SER AXELL FLORENT (CLAP)
SER PENROSE (DARTH) VOTES SER AXELL FLORENT (CLAP)
BRIENNE OF TARTH (FONT) VOTES SER AXELL FLORENT (CLAP)
KING RENLY BARATHEON (ME) VOTES SER AXELL FLORENT (CLAP)

Coffee Warlord 05-28-2013 09:29 PM

Er, whoops.

Unvote All, Because I Named Brienne/Clap, not Brienne/Font

Vote Brienne (Font)
Greyjoy (Lathum) votes for Brienne of Tarth (Font)
Karstark (MrBug) votes for Brienne of Tarth (Font)

It seems to make little difference from my perspective. If I vote with you will you be my friend? Maybe we can have an ale and talk about how it was all one big misunderstanding? I didn't think so.

Regardless, Renly is weak and it costs him one of his bannermen. Just like he chose a junior partnership and a place as the third house over the possibility of a strong alliance.

Autumn 05-28-2013 09:33 PM

And you're going to be friends with Renly? You think he has your back?

fontisian 05-28-2013 09:35 PM

VOTE SER AXELL FLORENT (CLAP)

Stannis, I have already explained my position to you. Do this, and I promise I will go out with a bang.

DaddyTorgo 05-28-2013 09:35 PM

This public bickering is really quite entertaining, I must say.

Autumn 05-28-2013 09:37 PM

I apologize, Brienne. I wish you no ill will. But by the time you explained your situation I did not dare choose another of Renly's followers, given the closeness of the vote.

Wait, you're voting for one of Stannis's bannermen and saying that it costs Renly a bannerman?

And you are an untrustworthy one. Which would you rather have at your side? That's always been the difference between us I suppose.

path12 05-28-2013 09:40 PM

I negotiated in good faith. You on the other hand have rejected me twice and claim I am the untrustworthy one.

I shall see you on the field.

Autumn 05-28-2013 09:41 PM

Tyrion, if gold truly is your master, I will pay you your 1,000 gold for your vote.

path12 05-28-2013 09:42 PM

I will outpay anything my "brother" promises. And I actually follow through, as Varys for one can attest.

I wonder if you actually believe your words. Or understand them. Your mouth seems to work at cross purposes with your hands.

They were careless people, Tom and Daisy- they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.

Nice quote, but wrong book.

I think I just clicked on the wrong thread. Sorry about that whoever it was.
