I wish I could consult, well, anything.

Vote Bullet innocent

interesting bullet. That definitely gives me pause, and it does seem consistent with your earlier play. I don't know that it'll make any difference at this point, but

VOTE FREE BULLETSPONGE (DON'T KILL BULLET)

I'm worried though. We REALLY need to get 2 arrests going on a daily basis so we can get some more insight into some types of voting patterns

I put suits against the two people who were with me in voting to free Bullet. I figured that the Tarqs might want to spread their votes out, so I would rather bring suit against someone who has a reasonable chance (based on the above logic, and being on my suspects list at the start of the day) of being a Tarq.

I'm not going to advance to the top of the wealth list, but if I can make incremental gains while diminishing the Tarqs I'm all for it.

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:21 PM

I'm hoping more will be revealed. But I'm thinking of a plan for this next day. I think that Ironus Headus should reveal which service he hired that provided a killer. I think we should pick two other services that are vital for the Senate. I think we should have the three wealthiest Senators (or however many there are in that group) bid on those vital services to assure the Senate has them to use.

This will allow us to corner those services. It will also allow us to test the loyalty of our wealthiest members. Is there any drawback to doing things this way?

st.cronin 04-11-2007 08:21 PM

The following Senator has been murdered:

Alan T, by poison

The following Senators are currently in jail:

Imus Thecrewus

financial update next, this may take a while.

Grammaticus 04-11-2007 08:24 PM

Just one jailed again??

Let me get response from a PM and you will get more information.

KWhit 04-11-2007 08:25 PM

For the record, I arrested ImTheCrew.

Alan T 04-11-2007 08:25 PM

I figured I wouldn't live long this game. Out of game note, stay tuned, for a really good RL post from me. I'll post the link here too. Some of you probably are interested.

Ooh damn. Does this mean that Alanus' death prevented him from arresting someone? Can you confirm that Mustangus, that you jailed Imus?

It seems Ironheadus' thoughts on the methods of killing might be right. He seems to have denied the traitors their killer by sword. Either they can kill by poison on their own, or there is a service they acquired whicih allowed it (perhaps the sex trade)?

saldana 04-11-2007 08:26 PM

i am very intersted to know who jailed ITCus

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:26 PM

Oh thank you Kayus Whitus, I meant you, not Mustangus.

DaddyTorgo 04-11-2007 08:26 PM

friggin weird/annoying that we're only ending up with one person jailed everyday. That's seriously hampering our ability to have any choice and thus get any voting records for people and have any choice of what to do on a daily basis!!

Tough luck, Alan. You played a good game.

hoopsguy 04-11-2007 08:27 PM

Another Day 3 special for Alan - had been awhile since he bit the dust then.

And another of our wealthiest citizens is on the rock - another guy who is not exactly a social butterfly.

Crew - what services have you pursued so far this game?

never mind...didnt see kayus whitus' post

Poli 04-11-2007 08:27 PM

Wow, well, Bulletsponge was a good guy.

I know this because I'm a lawyer, and apparently it was logical to see bulletsponge was loyal to the republic.

WHY THIS WASN'T LOGICAL BEFORE HAND I DON'T KNOW!!!

GRRRAAA!!

hoopsguy 04-11-2007 08:28 PM

Barkeep, no arrest?

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:29 PM

You're saying you got a PM saying Bulletus was loyal?

Poli 04-11-2007 08:29 PM

I am saying that, yes.

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:30 PM

I'm obviously running on too little sleep. I was thinking Alanus was still consul, and that was why only one arrest. Now I"m very interested to know why we only have one man in jail.

Poli 04-11-2007 08:31 PM

Yeah, barkeep must have dropped the ball. Dang.

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:32 PM

That's too bad that Senator Bulletus was unwilling to share more informatoin then. Some of you were probably right htat it was just his playing style. Very odd. I hope Imus decides not to act so mysterious if he is a loyal Senator.

Coffee Warlord 04-11-2007 08:32 PM

Our Consuls apparently don't remember too terribly well that they're supposed to freakin arrest people.

I just hope he doesn't make more comments about nappy headed hos.

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:33 PM

Barkeepus had said he sent in a standing arrest order, didn't he? I wonder if that didnt' work, or if the traitors have some means of escaping arrest.

Poli 04-11-2007 08:33 PM

Autumnus, I'm afraidus thatus willus beus the caseus.

Coffee Warlord 04-11-2007 08:34 PM

Only thing I can conceive of is he ordered the same arrest, with the contingency arrest of...Alan?

I don't remember him saying that. I said that I sent one in, but I don't recall hearing anything from him about that. But I'm about to check...

Peregrine 04-11-2007 08:35 PM

Jesus, another day of only one arrest? This is getting ridiculous. I mean there's always people getting slack with their roles in any game, but one this important, sheesh...

5 points for that one. Gold.

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:36 PM

Perhaps the bodyguard can protect against arrest if in the wrong hands? We'll need reports on services to figure this all out.

Ironhead 04-11-2007 08:37 PM

Just want to let everyone know that I will likely be quite mellow today. A party of sexual slaves showed up at my door last night as a gift. I do not know where they came from - the "gift" was anonymous.

Anyone know the Roman equivalent of smoking after sex? Cause I need it right now.

Autumn 04-11-2007 08:37 PM

Ardent, did you get that PM becuase you represented him, or just because you're a lawyer?

Poli 04-11-2007 08:37 PM

I was not told the bodyguard did that.

Peregrine 04-11-2007 08:37 PM

I recommend that from now on, we do an unofficial lynch vote to determine the two people who should be arrested. If the consuls are loyal, they should go along with what the majority decides. If not, well it's suspicious.

hoopsguy 04-11-2007 08:37 PM

Assuming that Ardent is telling us the truth about Bullet (Schmidty, can you vouch for this as the other lawyer) what do we learn?

1. The Tarqs had ample motivation to want to remove Bulletsponge, among the richest of our group.
2. The person who imprisoned him was poisoned tonight, so they were not responsible for him being arrested, just opportunistic
3. I'm guessing that not each and everyone voted for him when they had their numbers in check. That could support either BK/DT voting to free him or just electing not to vote (will try to put together this list)

I know that I'm Roman, so I'm not considering my vote as the "split the Tarq vote" option. And I believe someone else knows I'm Roman at this point as well, although not from the horses. That message died with Alan - I initially was going to send it to someone else but decided that Alan was more likely to be alive tomorrow than my initial recipient. Oops.

Over the course of two PMs:

I was told I reviewed his effects and found him loyal.

I asked him why...

I was told that I used logic and rhetoric to determine it.

Sex slaves are a block on your abilities, a bad guy won them and is trying to block you. I know, because I just won them on Day Three.

Poli 04-11-2007 08:43 PM

Makes sense. Anxiety must have outbid me for that. I tried again tonight.

Schmidty 04-11-2007 08:44 PM

Last night, I purchased Balbus Senna's services.

Bulletus Spongeus was absolutely loyal to the Senate.

Poli 04-11-2007 08:45 PM

High five goes out to my boy Schmidty.

hoopsguy 04-11-2007 08:45 PM

Hmm, not sure that the person sending sexy after Ironhead was a Tarq trying to block him. Could have been a Roman who didn't trust him at the time they sent the order (note - wasn't me, I had horses).
