I heart this game :)

Poli 03-06-2006 09:37 PM

I think I've got a lie one. I mean a live one.

KWhit, I think that is the most plausible explanation.

The second one is that Ardent is inventing information, which he has done as both a good guy and a bad guy.

If Taz is a good guy I don't know why he is trying to sacrifice himself at this point. We are starting to get later in the game now and it would help if Jedi were playing to win rather than steering votes towards themselves. No matter how frustrating it is getting votes ...

Poli 03-06-2006 09:39 PM

Hmm, who could our guest be....let me think...

Poli 03-06-2006 09:41 PM

Well, it's not cartman, gramm, hoops, me, stkelly, or taz at this point...though I know you can be in the thread and a guest at times. I find it doubtful at this point.

Poli 03-06-2006 09:41 PM

I can add mckerney to the list it seems. I'm definitely going to track this. Hi, guest.

cartman 03-06-2006 09:42 PM

Maybe it's Daivid.

Poli 03-06-2006 09:43 PM

I'm thinking barkeep maybe.

Poli 03-06-2006 09:43 PM

Heh, he left.

Eaglesfan27 03-06-2006 09:46 PM

I really wish I had lived longer in this game. It's been very intriguing.

If there is mind control from the Sith, this becomes quite worrysome. There is the possability that the sith could have more than one under their mind control, which means that both ardent and taz weren't in control of their own votes. This would certainly explain some of the voting that has gone on.

There would be other questions that go along if this is true. Can the sith freely change who is under their control, or are they locked on to one jedi until they die. If it is the case that they cannot change who's under their control it provides some level of relief, though another set of worries...

Because no one believes me and the only way to prove I'm good is with my death. Heaven forbid that I try to make it easier for the Jedi.

mckerney 03-06-2006 09:49 PM

Dola:

The fact that there's the potential that any of us could be under mind control for their votes, and that we may not have gotten a true sith yet leaves me very worried.

I have had 100% control of my vote and I still offer myself up for execution the next day.

Poli 03-06-2006 09:54 PM

Mind control? I wanted to vote for Qwikshot.

I agree. I think from now on I am going to give myself a house rule that I will always vote for someone if they vote for themselves.

So Taz, it looks like you'll be getting my vote tomorrow.

hoopsguy 03-06-2006 09:55 PM

Day 1 - lynch Superman=#54
Night 1 - lose Eaglesfan27, Alan T
Day 2 - lynch Lathum
Night 2 - no deaths
Day 3 - lynch Dubb (evil)
Night 3 - lose Schmidty
Day 4 - lynch Qwikshot
Night 4 - lose Jedi
Day 5 - lose Taz
Night 5 - lose Jedi

Taz, if you are a Jedi, and we lose a Jedi each evening, then we will be heading into Day 6 with 9 dead Jedi, 0 dead Sith, and 1 evil Jedi.

Given a starting number of 23, how do you think this plays out in terms of end game?

I think the best way for you to "make it easier for the Jedi" is to help us find a Sith on Day 5 rather than sacrificing yourself.

hoopsguy 03-06-2006 09:57 PM

and 1 dead evil Jedi ... didn't want to edit the post.

Agreed. We can't afford to lose another jedi, which means no one should vote for someone they know to be a jedi, no matter what point you have to prove.

Poli 03-06-2006 09:59 PM

Good thing I'm voting for Taz tomorrow...though there's an outside shot of tanglewood.

Not my fault people are taking Ardent at face value.

Its probably a good thing I hadn't. I'm pretty sure I would have killed off about 3 or 4 jedis so far this game with the way they are acting :)

I agree totally.

That is why the voting for yourself strategy makes me crazy! If you vote for yourself, you are either a Sith trying to mess with our heads or you're a Jedi who is hurting the effort by distracting us from the real Sith. That's what made me frustrated with Ardent last night.

Thank you for your support.

Myabe Saldana can get the night actions in early so we can begin the unanimous vote.

Why should I vote for Qwik when I figured he was a Jedi. I'd rather sacrifice myself than another Jedi.

You're sure he's a Jedi?

Well, I'm probably out for the night here shortly. Here's to everyone who's a jedi.

If I'm not alive tomorrow morning, please remember Taz and tanglewood.

One last note: I wanted to vote for Qwikshot.

Yeah, duh. That made no sense did it? :)

I meant "were you sure he was a Jedi".

In other words, Taz didn't know for SURE either way at the time of the vote. But Taz knows his own role. So (assuming he is a Jedi) if he wanted to avoid voting for a good guy he most definitely should have chosen to vote for Qwik because at the time we didn't know one way or the other.

Sheesh. I'm even confusing myself.

How would he not be a Jedi wielding a yellow lightsaber? That is what the post said.

Looking at this I really hope that our Sith subscribe to the rule of two...
:(

Barkeep49 03-06-2006 10:24 PM

Saldana

Could we get the final vote tally? I understand there might be secret things going on, but can we get what it was before any secret sorta thing?

Grammaticus 03-06-2006 10:25 PM

How did the tie get broken?

I knew that hoops made a typo in his list and that he meant Ardent. I didn't bother to correct it in my response, though perhaps I should have.

Grammaticus 03-06-2006 10:28 PM

Taz (4)- Sack, Barkeep, Taz, Desnudo
Kwhit (2)- Penny, Hoops
Hoops (1)- Gramm
Qwik (4)- Cartman, mckerney, jeep, ardent
Barkeep (2)- king, stkelley
Jeeb (1)- Qwik
Ardent (1)- Tangle

Tangle made a move to vote Qwik at 9:31, but it did not count.

Barkeep49 03-06-2006 10:30 PM

Well I am pleased to see Qwik cleared as a Jedi though not to see another Jedi dead. I think Taz was likely a Jedi too, but given a .1 chance of sith versus .06 chance gotta go with the marignal best.

I am most disappointed by how many people have failed to vote this game. I know most are legitimate but frankly I think we're about to rid our games of the self vote and would hate to see the "accidental" nonvote be a wolf tactic to help avoid a voting record.

Barkeep49 03-06-2006 10:30 PM

Saldana said tangle's vote did not count. I still would like saldana's official vote count as I saw what others had put together; just wanted what he had at lynch time.

Right, I don't buy this one bit. You and Hoops are getting sloppy.

hoopsguy 03-06-2006 10:36 PM

Gram, this is now my 118th post in the thread. I'm sorry that I put in a wrong name there within one of those posts. Thank you for catching it.

He was playing the exact same game as he was in the Treasure Hunter game. You know, nuts. He plays to draw attention to himself to get a wolf or two to bandwagon.

I told you all that the wolves keep me around because I'm always suspected (yet have only been a bad guy once in how many games I've played). We had a chance to get rid of little ol suspicious me but we decided to have 7 people receive votes. Now because of Qwik's death, I am even more suspicious according to ardent (967), KWhit (987), Tanglewood (991), and stkelly52 (994).

saldana 03-06-2006 10:44 PM

couple things....

the vote last night was in fact a tie, which was broken by the tiebreaking logic that i chose for this game, and will remain secret until the end of the game. gram's post of the final votes is correct as i have it.

second Barkeep49 has to step out of the game at this point. he is being replaced as of now with path12.

may the force be with you barkeep

hoopsguy 03-06-2006 10:55 PM

Barkeep, sorry to see you go even if we bickered a little bit in this game. Hope that all is well and that we can play another one together soon.

Welcome, path12.

Barkeep49 03-06-2006 11:02 PM

Thanks hoop. I just grew frustrated at Ardent's ability to have so many more posts than me when it seems like I am constantly posting :)

kingfc22 03-06-2006 11:03 PM

Sorry to see Barkeep go
