Bad? No. Incorrect? Yes.

Nirvana version = better, more consistent rhythm, better matching of the vocal style with the content of the lyrics, better production

The Melvins cover is interesting to hear what they did with the vocal melodies, but it's inferior IMO.

Never much of a fan. And in the early 90s I was in a haze. I dont remember much from 1985-1998. So if it was "era changing" and "genre defining". I missed it.
