I was really hoping when they did the high five at the end that it knocked both off-balance and they plummeted over the sides

The accompanying article stipulated that this was the time of the actual "act." Getting warmed up does not count in the number of minutes.

But apparently this data is pulled from some phone app where you can track this … so it's bullshit.

I hate to get into a political discussion on here, but no, it's not even close to true.

The poster is from 1956, when the bastion of racism in the U.S. was ensconced in the Southern Democrat Party.

It wasn't until 1964 or so, when MLK Jr. blasted Republican Barry Goldwater, that the GOP began getting a reputation for the "home of the rednecks." Before that, at the time of the poster, the GOP was known more as "the party that freed the slaves."

The idea that GOP is racist and Dems are liberators isn't historically even remotely true - in fact, the flip opposite of reality, until Goldwater/MLK/LBJ began radically shifting perceptions in the U.S.

Done with rant now. THis thread is supposed to be about pictures. Probably not a good idea to throw overtly political pictures in here in the first place.

It's pretty lame to post political stuff in here but it is also pretty lame about the crackdown on good looking women as well so I guess they go hand in hand. Seems like there are enough divisive topics on this board that the images thread could do without the boring back and forth.

Seriously? I just can't believe that. I complain if it was less than 10. 20 is much closer to my average.

CU Tiger 02-20-2014 06:26 PM

WTF...my wife has complained about me never being a quicky but 3 minutes really?

Im doing good if I can complete the act in 30 usually its pushing and hour...I always thought the 5 minute stuff was a hyperbole joke. WTF

(**Edit: That was neither a humble brag attempt nor a high school exaggeration (all night long, MAN and then until lunch) just an honest realization...I guess everyone is different. Ive been with the same partner for so long I guess I began to assume everyone was the same....)

Critch 02-20-2014 06:29 PM

I'd always assumed that pounding away for an hour, seven or eight times in a row, with my 12 inch schlong was average!

(Am I doing this right?)

tarcone 02-20-2014 06:55 PM

I think I did it backwards. We are talking length, in both time and size?
And are we talking just the act of interourse or the whole act, including foreplay?

lol...no sandpaper here.

Its been a joke in the past amongst closer friends with whom the wife or I have shared a bit too much after a few too many drinks, lol.

We are the backwards couple she wants shorter (duration) I want longer...whatever works for us.

This is my TMI contribution to the board...but Id love to be able to finish in 3 minutes that sounds fantastic?

Bill Watterson was so impressed by the makers of the upcoming documentary about newspaper cartoons called 'Stripped', that he made the art for the movie poster. Likely his first piece of released art since the end of Calvin and Hobbes.

Anyone who wishes Golden Corral or Bojangles is a national chain deserves to be hung by their taste buds.

Plus some of those are really considered national chains like Buffalo Wild Wings (45 states), Sonic (43 states) and Cracker Barrel (42 states).

Yeah. Dunkin Donuts, Cracker Barrel, and DQ are at least all over states east of the Mississippi.

True, but the bulk of their locations are in a much more regional area. I think that is why they used the term "bigger national chains", so that there would be more locations nationwide.

Matthean 02-27-2014 01:50 PM

I'm surprised that Pluckers was on their radar. They are a pretty small chain of 15 wing places, but they are really good. Their Dr Pepper wing sauce is awesome.

Simbo Klice 02-27-2014 02:29 PM

I spent a summer in Corpus Christi and I would love for Rudy's, Whataburger, and Freebirds (which was basically a pretty good Chipotle knockoff) to expand nationally. Rudy's especially- best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had.

*** Another place that should be on here is Rooster's. Their boneless wings are amazing, and they're not to bw-3 levels of ripoff pricing yet.

Butter 02-27-2014 02:39 PM

I'd throw in a vote for Zaxby's.

cuervo72 02-27-2014 02:47 PM

Zaxby's came to mind for me too, as did Del Taco (hey, they may not be great but they'd be a welcome alternative to Taco Bell).

Butter 02-27-2014 02:52 PM

Cookout. I've got a hundred of 'em apparently.

Lathum 02-27-2014 03:44 PM

Serious Pie is awesome, but really, really small, maybe 2 locations I can recall.

Original Pancake House is good but not earth shattering.

Wawa is really the one I wish was everywhere. It is truly amazing and indescrible to anyone who has never had it.

Dunkin Donuts is big in the east, but like others have mentioned nothing out west

They just opened a Chuys here, good but not great. Greaters is very. very good, but very expensive for ice cream.

BWW I consider pretty mainstreem, not sure it belongs on that list.

Ritas is amazing stuff. My wife and I are semi-seriously considering looking into a franchise in the CIncinnati area. We have a meeting with our financial planner tomorrow, and while I don't think it is something we could do tomorrow, it is something we are going to think more seriously about, I think a Ritas would kill it here.

dawgfan 02-27-2014 03:56 PM

Taco Time is a fantastic alternative for folks looking for fast-food Mexican that isn't horrible crap like Taco Bell. I don't think they've spread much beyond Washington and Oregon, and they have an interesting history as there are actually two franchises now using that name (has to do with some split in ownership that happened along the way). I think the version that's more common in Eastern Washington has a store down in the SLC area. The Western Washington version of the franchise is a little better IMO, but both are light years ahead of Taco Bell.

I'd put them as a more practical alternative out of the PNW region than Serious Pie or Original Waffle House, though both are quite good.
