The same culture that mixes noodle types like that is probably the same type of culture that would burn an American flag.

Scrambled eggs and noodles is pretty common place, no? See, e.g., Pad Thai.

Not sure about non-scrambled eggs.

I have a friend who hard-boils an egg with his Ramen.

Quite odd, that.

He's actualy in one of the glass type areas hanging over and when he looks down he absolutely loses it. It's funny to see how people react going up to them and being on one and then watching a baby crawl in that area oblivious to it all.

Does one person actually own all those consoles? On second thought, I probably have a tenth of that collecting dust in my closet somewhere, and I'm not even trying.

Totally digging the trilogy meter.

MikeVic 01-10-2011 12:21 PM

Indiana Jones 2 is way too high.
Spiderman 2 is too high, Spiderman 1 is too low.
Terminator 3 is too low. I thought it was OK.

Ksyrup 01-10-2011 12:37 PM

ISiddiqui 01-10-2011 12:59 PM

Indy 2 is too high, but how in the world is Spiderman 2 too high? I still consider it to be one of the greatest superhero movies ever.

MikeVic 01-10-2011 01:49 PM

There were two scenes that brought the movie down for me. I agree that overall, it was a good super hero movie.

Scene 1: The camera view being that of Doc Ock's tentacles. It looked so cheesy. Like some B-Horror movie.

Scene 2: Spiderman without the mask on that train, being passed around by the people on the train. And then the little girl says "Don't worry Spiderman, we won't tell anyone who you are." Just a stupid, cheesy scene that ruined part of the movie for me.

That was actually one of my favorite scenes of Spider-Man 2 simply because it is 100% pure, unfiltered Sam Raimi. It harkened straight back to his roots and his "Evil Dead" days and it left me cackling with glee.

If it had been any other director, I would have had the same reaction as you.

Frankly I adored that scene. It was so sweet and you just know that a little girl would say something cute like that in a similar situation.

Ronnie Dobbs2 01-10-2011 04:56 PM

We've all seen this countless times.

Think this was only in director's cut. Was a homage to Sam Raimi's Evil Dead. So yeah, that B Movie thing was intentional :D. I thought it was hilarious simply because of the reference. But yeah, if you don't get that then it's completely out of place.

Indiana Jones 2 is way, way too high. Fun graph except that Indiana Jones 2 is way, way too high. :)

I can't believe somebody has not already pointed out that Mad Max 3 was way too high. Thundersome blows, anybody that would rate it higher than the first one is an idiot.

We are retarded bitching about a stupid trilogy meter.

I don't think anyone was truly bitching until your post.

Anyway, I disagree with the list in a few spots, but the one I would change the most is LotR. I would put them all to the top of the scale.
