You are in the Game Room
It is very quaint indeed. In the center is a grand billiards table with frills hanging off all the pockets. The NE POCKET seems wrinkled. The CARVING of the base of the billiards table is exquisite. A fireplace is lit nearby over which a STAG HEAD hangs. Two leather chairs sit on opposite ends of a CHESS TABLE. In an alcove, a DART BOARD CABINET hangs. On the floor by the fire is a nice BEAR SKIN RUG. ON the wall is a BILLIARD RACK which holds the balls and cues. There is a funny looking crane with stuffed animals inside. On the outside is a grey button, a purple lever and a black lever. Exits: Up to the Ground Floor |

ok, i kind of like the fact that anyone that walks down the stairs doesnt know where we all went.

With that being said, I am not sure how we are going to use this information or how long CF's foreplay is going to last for. I have noticed that the middle floor is the most active, but of course I can't go in there to see what they are talking about.
The ground floor is very similar to this one or at least it was until I dropped down. I am going to go back to my stag head here. Hopefully I find something good. |

saldana crawls under the billiards table to look at the carving. goldeneagle gets on a chair to look at the stag and Zinto feels inside the bear skin rug. Poor spleen fell through a hole on the way to the dartboard and did not get to look.
Suddenly bars spring up from around the billiards table, trapping saldana inside. |
Goldeneagle steps back from the stag after searching. He looks closely at the animal again and suddenly falls forward into the fireplace and is sucked up....and is gone.

The motors start up again and a panel opens up. THe floor tilts up and you all slide into another room.

You are in the Servants' Quarters
 A very humble room this is. A SIMPLE BED. A NICE CHAMBER POT. SIMPLE CURTAINS. Very plain room is this. There is an OLD WARDROBE, but nothing fancy. The is a PITCHER AND BOWL to wash up. And ONE DRAWER to keep your meager possessions. Nothing much of a room. It is quite the opposite of the grandiose richness upstairs. Strangely enough saldana, yes you are under the bed in a cage, preventing you from moving. But movement phase comes to an end and it lets you out. Movement phase done.

Hogsworth enters, walks across the room, presses the red button, smiles, then leaves the way he came.

Well those things you have been searching and inspecting used to belong to some old friends of mine. I say friends but I really mean good for nothing thieves who stole from me, every one of them. And as each of them has touched or owned an item in this house (the items which you searched) when they used to spend endless summers here, now their spirits are summoned into you through these items. So sorry....but what you searched has now determined who is about to be inside you...which should be happening right about...now.” You all feel your minds melt away, then wander away, then run away from you. Yes it totally gets away from you. And now you....what were you doing? Oh yes you remember this place. What were you thinking of? You are at Lord Stout’s. The man who threw such lavish and wonderful parties and you would stay for simply days and consider it your home away from home. Well now, let the party continue! “Oh why have I done this? Why have I brought you all back here? Why, to kill you, of course! That’s right, you see I have also summoned, or rather YOU all have summoned some very powerful ...shall we say...acquaintances of mine. And they in turn will kill you. So I guess some of you will be killing the others, etc, etc but don’t let that kill the party. Why don’t you all continue with the venture I promised those other folk, you remember, the ones whose bodies you nowpossess. Yes that IS what we are talking about now aren’t we? So why don’t you forget about me and keep doing what you are good at....trying to take things from my house. The winner still takes all. And then my acquaintances will take you. The door creaks open and a momemt later Hogsworth sticks his head in.
"Hello? Is everything alright in here? I do realize this must be terribly frightful for you all and I will do everything I can to make your stay here more comfortable and...my word, all of you seem transformed. Like different people are staring back at me." "I don't like the sound of what the Master said. Inviting his friends to possess you? How dreadful. And the Master did know some very frightful...um...beings...creatures...entities...I won't call them humans. To think that any of YOU should be inhabited by such fiends. Oh dear, this is most terrible. Perhaps you should try and suss out who among you is here to do you harm and remove them post haste! Perhaps by drawing lots or simply by majority vote of anyone in the house. Why don't you just use the names you started with. Yes, I think that is the only fair thing to do." |

Sorry that I haven't been on today Sal and GE, it was the first day of the semester and I have been off the wall busy getting into the swing of things.

I guess we need to decide how we are going to vote. It has not been really active in the basement and I have not been anywhere else yet. Should we throw a random vote on someone in a different room or should we vote for one of the three of us in here.
