The Jackal 10-15-2011 11:09 AM

So there could be up to 5 night kills in one night?

Autumn 10-15-2011 11:22 AM

Theoretically, yes. Of course that would assume that Two Face managed to find all four disturbed individuals before any of them were lynched. This is a ruleset that I snagged from Boardgame Geek and it's been tested and tweaked a lot of times. Looking at how they've played it, it seems that the conundrum of hinting versus getting caught hinting could be interesting.

Excellent. Glad to have you back in this one so you can build upon your previous work in Gotham.

Narcizo 10-15-2011 12:38 PM

You can chuck me in if you don't get 20 by Sunday evening.

Autumn 10-15-2011 12:40 PM

Awesome, Narc.

Chief Rum 10-15-2011 12:46 PM

Yup, I'm in.

Does this mean they can protect themselves, just not two nights in a row, or they can't protect themselves AND they cannot protect the same person two nights in a row?

Autumn 10-15-2011 01:06 PM

I clarified the rules. The Police Officers may not protect themselves.

can they protect each other?

Autumn 10-15-2011 02:28 PM

Yes.

CrimsonFox 10-15-2011 10:37 PM

not to self. cops might be cops even if it doesn't say "cop". got it.

CrimsonFox 10-15-2011 10:50 PM

heh interesting that ntn and I are back to back in the list. Since we were BOTH Rachel Dawes last time. Maybe both of us should be dawes again as kind of a split personalitity thing. that'd make a great batvillain :)

CrimsonFox 10-16-2011 04:10 AM

hmmmm so no one can PM with anyone badguys or goodguys? interesting.

CrimsonFox 10-16-2011 05:28 AM

eeek. I finally understand the Forensic officers. If they die we don't know if we kill badguys or not .

Then again neither do the bad guys - passive priests I believe is the technical term.

Seems like a tough game for the village but it should be interesting for those who are good at finding/sending subtle signals (ie not me).

Danny 10-16-2011 07:34 AM

Cool ruleset overall, a bad start would be disastrous for the village, but as long as we keep the total number of wolves in line should be ok.

My original plan was to make a rule set where someone played the good side of Dent as the seer, and someone played the bad side as the lone wolf. They had to flip a coin each night to see who got to act, and if one of them died, the other one did. It had some problems, but was a fun idea. Maybe something like it will work into the third part of the trilogy, if anyone survives this one ;-)

Autumn 10-16-2011 08:44 AM

I can probably drag Narcizo and Jackal in, but still one more spot we need. Come on folks. Who's missing?

The Jackal 10-16-2011 08:56 AM

I'm already on the list, you need two more!

The Jackal 10-16-2011 08:56 AM

Is Commo too frustrated to participate again? :)

I don't know, I just messaged him. ;-)

Autumn 10-16-2011 08:59 AM

Oh that's right, you already changed your mind. Well, we'll drum someone up.

Narcizo 10-16-2011 12:49 PM

Where's Jag got to by the way?

Commo_Soldier 10-16-2011 01:17 PM

I'll join if you want to get roles out today and no one else wants to. I'm just hesitant because I'm not sure what my work situation will be like after Monday, but I should be able to contribute a little at least.

Never, I'm hoping to convince others I know to play. It was crazy how last game turned out though, hopefully the stuff I think I learned I actually did learn.

Danny 10-16-2011 01:21 PM

I didn't say this, but I enjoyed having you in the last game Commo. I think you're going to be a strong player with good activity.

You've played very well so far in my opinion - you didn't get the breaks but we all get feelings of certainty about things. Some are better at controlling them than others but I think pretty much everyone gets them to some degree. Look at Danny - he had a great game but he was certain Bug was a wolf and that certainty is infectious, particularly when the person has been right twice already.

In fact I was saying in PMs during the game that you remind me of me when I started playing. Except a whole lot more active naturally.

Narcizo 10-16-2011 01:32 PM

So we clone Jackal and we're ready to go right?

Yes, you played much better than was implied in the thread ;-)

All right, well I can add you and Narc tonight if others don't sign up. I could also wait for a Monday night startup. I'm always eager to go, but I know some people don't really get onto the site until Monday.

+100000000000
And I bestow upon you, the dancing chicken---> :funkychickendance:

Autumn 10-16-2011 08:41 PM

All right guys, i'm going to give this 'til tomorrow. If I don't see someone signed up in the morning (and/or Narc or Commo decide they can't do it) I'll start messaging people. I'm sure we'll get some people signed up and start tomorrow night, or whenever we get the people.

CrimsonFox 10-17-2011 08:55 AM

vote NIGHTFALL

Autumn 10-17-2011 10:22 AM

Narc and Commo let me know if you want me to sign you up as definites. I don't want to end up with people fighting over spots.

Lathum 10-17-2011 11:31 AM

ok, count me in

Danny 10-17-2011 11:35 AM

Despite what the rules say, I am the joker again and am invulnerable to lynch.

Time to create an alternate identity name TALMUH and see if you can sneak that one past the alert moderator ...

hoopsguy 10-17-2011 11:48 AM

Dumb question about rules that is already explained in rules.

Edit - Never mind, found answer later in the rules.
Extra Edit While I'm Here - getting this out of the way before the start of the game :)

Yes. And Hoops, there's a delete function.

mckerney 10-17-2011 12:05 PM

If you still need people I'll play.

Sure, but there is so little time in WW games where you can edit I figured I should take advantage of the window.

Okay, great, guys. Narc and Commo, let me know. If you both want in I'll tweak it to work at 21. If you need to stay out for work, that's fine too.

Narcizo 10-17-2011 01:13 PM
