My music trivia contribution (some/most of which will probably turn out to be untrue):

- Guns N' Roses were the only artist during the 1980s to have two albums in the Billboard top five at the same time
- GN'R were also the first major rock act to ever release two albums on the same day
- November Rain has the longest guitar solo of any US top ten single in history

Other artists (not necessarily rock):
- The album version of Springsteen's Glory Days was only the third take
- Tracey Chapman holds the record for longest amount of time between a first and second #1 single
- The Donna Lewis pop song "Always Forever" holds the record for most time spent at #2 without ever reaching #1

Timothy Schmidt did replace Meisner in both Poco and Eagles, but I am pretty sure that it was only for The Long Run and not for Hotel California.
