Questionable pick at best IMO. I would think that the top 5 or so would really have to be characters that transcend the video game industry into pop culture. I had to do a Google search to figure that one out. But to each his own I guess.

A little early for Aran, but seriously...the first female protagonist in a video game, and I believe the original Metroid for NES debuted in the '80s, which was a pretty phenomenal revelation. Solid pick, if it happened maybe in the late first, early second round, I think.

Seems like a reach, but she wouldn't have been around for his next pick, so it might make sense.

Maybe a little high for Samus, but she's worthy of a 1st round pick imho. As has already been said, she was the first female hero in video games, and every one of her games has been really really good.

Missed picks will be handled like the NFL: you keep the pick, but other teams can jump ahead of you until you use it.
