Last game you said rule #1 is always kill Chief Rum. So I'm trying to follow your rules :) |
1 Abe - JAG (48)
1 britrock - spleen (87) 1 CF - britrock (49) 1 CR - CF (51) 2 JAG - booradley (77), DT (94) 1 spleen - Suicane (97) yet to vote: Abe, mauboy, Simbo, CR, GE, DV |
Awesome, lotsa people I haven't played with before and some not for awhile. :)
|
hmmm rather a lot of candidates today. Any more coming?
|
is that a request? sounds wolfish ;-)

go for it DV, give us your best vote. We want to know what inquiring sith lords think. |
And you shall continue to want. You won't know my plan until it's far too late

I should vote Suicane75 for voting in a sixth candidate when we already had five.
Wrap your head around that one! |

Thinking about this, we might have some trouble figuring out exactly which game we're in. I'll break down the problems for each game: Game 1: seer and/or BG reveal only narrows it down to #1 and #4; WW seer has no incentive to reveal Game 2: only the hunter can reveal; if he does, we'll likely wonder whether there are other roles (from #4) that will reveal, so we might not come to a consensus to conclude we're in #2. Also, a reveal from the hunter seems to make things tough for the village, as the hunter is its only roled player. Game 3: the only person who could reveal is the cultist; given the precarious situation s/he is in, why would s/he reveal? Game 4: the easiest one to determine we're in, but it would require both the hunter and either the seer or BG to reveal; that's 2 big roles to give away. |
Imma gonna vote CF, because he's too good at following the rules.
VOTE CRIMSON FOX Legal Note: This is a Day One vote. By definition, it is a vote with little to no interpretive value with respect to the actual lupishness of said candidate. This is not to be construed, however, as a confirmation that said candidate is indeed innocent, unless he actually is. Any use of said vote against said candidate as a future basis for starting a lynch vote against said candidate or against said voter is strictly prohibited. Unless he is a wolf, then this vote means everything, and I knew it all along. |

Oops. Was supposed to be, CF and I get to practice our gallows humor, but abbreviated due to the thumb slip.

Sorry for being out most of today. I have a class that runs from january 7-11 and i have to have read 8 books by then and be prepared to discuss them in depth and be quizzed on them. I read the first of them today, CS Lewis's Miracles. I will be reading several more this week.
|
Alright, now tht I'm back for the nght, let's look a twhere I should go with my vote
|
Vote Chief Rum
he wants vote alignment, and he's vet enough not to get surprised by Day One votes his way. It's like a meta-vote |
What do you mean about vote alignment? I didn't see him say that.
|
1 Abe - JAG (48)
1 britrock - spleen (87) 2 CF - britrock (49), Chief Rum (110) 1 CR - Abe (117) 2 JAG - booradley (77), DT (94) 2 spleen - Suicane (97), CrimsonFox (114) yet to vote: mauboy, Simbo, GE, DV |
Well that was a pretty failed experiment at Christmas shopping today...LOL
|
UNVOTE britrock88
VOTE CrimsonFox You don't get to change your vote to me without explanation. Yes, I am voting strictly to break the tie that I am in. |
Quote:
He said he considered voting the guy who placeda vote on a sixth dude. |
Boo the villager here. Wait, that doesn't sound quite right. OK - I am a villager and I am checking in. Does everyone like my new scent?
|
That was kind of a weird move by CF, but that is pretty typical for his style of play.
I am a big fan of making ties on day 1 so we can see which way the voting goes. So therefore: VOTE JAG |
1 Abe - JAG (48)
3 CF - britrock (49), Chief Rum (110), spleen (121) 1 CR - Abe (117) 3 JAG - booradley (77), DT (94), GE (124) 2 spleen - Suicane (97), CrimsonFox (114) yet to vote: mauboy, Simbo, DV |

Still a few stragglers, but looks like I will be a person of interest in this lynch. There hasn't been much chatter so there isn't a lot to look at, but DT has pinged me a bit, mostly just the below post:
Quote:
That struck me as possibly being an under-the-radar way to signal wolves he was the cultist and was ready to move to another candidate if a wolf was in danger. As a wolf he wouldn't need to be out there with his schedule since he could tell them in a PM. So that could be an indication there was a wolf on the block when it was 1-1-1-1-1, which isn't overly helpful since statistically there would be a decent chance of that with any random 5 players too, but it could be a starting point. And that's my crazy day 1 theory for this game. :) |
I guess I'll move to break a D1 tie bout 25 minutes left. Eitehr JAG or CF. Or I could move up spleen to make it 3-3-3/ I'da rather push someone in front though. And he's voting for me.... :)

DV, mauboy, and... Simbo.
|
6, 2, and 3 posts...
DV's checked in today, rather early. Mau missed D1 of the last game, too. Simbo...? |
Getting intense now with 20 minutes to go. Where are our non-voters?
|
Autumn, we're not looking at a deadline multiverse, are we? ;)
|
I wish we could switch our votes to one of these people who have not showed up, but I am not sure if there are enough people around to do that.

Wait for next game ... ;-) |

I don't like doing that Day 1. Day two, start pushing, but life interferes with all of us. |
Pros of voting for me:
1. You will not lose a roled player. 2. You will get an immediate speculation thread created in the offsite forum. Cons of voting for me: 1. You will have voted off a villager (though the wolves can put this in the pro section) |
Unvote Abe Sargent
Vote Crimson Fox |
Oooh a tie
|
Not much choice for me, unless someone switches off. I don't really feel strongly one way or another about CF or spleen.
|
Of course if CF could have been here now, he would've voted for me.
|
Do we know what the tie rules are? I am guessing based on the ruleset some fucked up shit is going to happen.
|
Weren't you the one who liked ties?
A tie is either a no-lynch or double lynch. |
I'm keeping my vote on CF. Nothing against him, but JAG being around at deadline is nice.
|
Unvote CF

what the hell is that??

So sorry everyone, my iPhone ran out of power and I just got home about 5 min ago |

|
Oof.
|
Come on JAG.
|
Darth's vote did not count (only votes up to 9:59 count).
|
I'll bring it with me tomorrow
|
self-sacrifice is admirable.
makes me pretty damn sure we've got a villager here though :( |

Calculating Box Weight
|
Removing contents
|
Wow. That is like the end of a movie where you say to yourself "I didn't see THAT coming!"
|
You fight and wrestle and rassle over who to thrust out of the box. Deciding on JAG as the most likely werewolf, and even he can't argue the point, you burn him, or lynch him, or throw him out of the box. You're unsure what exactly.
|
Peering at JAG's now still corpse you notice that he appears perfectly human.
JAG was a villager. |
Quote:
Of course we do, but it doesn't help. With a tie, there's a chance he stays alive. Otherwise he's dead anyway and we find out about CF as well. Other than potentially saving another villager, self sacrifice doesn't help in this situation, IMO. |
Day 1 is complete. Night One will end at 11 pm EST.
|
Ouch, bummer
|
Well, shit ...
|
That was unseen
|
Quote:
Did you use a number in Day 1 and then type out One in Night One on purpose? :D |
Maybe?
|
Hey Autumn - if JAG was the cultist would that have been revealed at death, or would he have come up as a vanilla villager?
That's the only explanation I can think of... |
All roles will be revealed at death.
|
Quote:
I had the same thought. |
Okay, so that's not it. That would have been too lucky for us though I guess.
|
Night Deadline
|
The sun rises and you all wake and count your numbers, worried about those werewolf attacks you hear so much about.
Someone seems to be missing. Oh no, there he is. His head at least. It seems that spleen1015 did not make it through the night. Too bad, because with all these notepads and everything it seems he was a rather observant fellow. Spleen1015 was a Seer. |
Day 2 has begun. Votes are due by Tuesday, 10 pm EST
|
...wow.
|
Damn.
|
Alright, we're in 1 or 4. The count is either 8:3 or 9:3, depending on whether we have a hunter. We have a bodyguard.
|
Good luck guys.
|
Damn. Talk about worst-case scenarios.
|
I am out for the night. Don't wreck the place.

VOTE Darth Vilus
Just a feeling I got... he was the most conspicuous of the non-voters, and was around at deadline, posting just after JAG broke the tie and sacrificed himself. If this were a V/V race, as the odds are on it being, isn't that a great excuse to make? |
Holy Crap!
So JAG was not the Cultist, but spleen was the seer? Ouch! |
One man's thoughts on werewolves and garlic since it came up earlier in the thread.
Do werewolves hate garlic I was beginning to think this was a friendly game of vampire :) |
Ugh, not good. Sorry I missed deadline, I'm a night schedule guy and with the Titans playing I completely forgot. Will not happen again... I'm going to back brit here and

Ah shit, lost the seer on the first day. Damn

I almost used it as an item in one of my WW games where I regularly use items.

back. I escaped fire there. To the corpse of spleen, I voted you to get another person up there that isn't me or jag because I knew JAG would just vote for me if I voted for him and I wanted someone elswe dying that isn't me. I basicvally flipped a coin between the others. Didn't choose Abe because I expected JAG to move off and thus not solve my problem. But Jag voted for me anyway. then he voted for himself. Thank you for your noble sacrifice Jagster. Don't know why he did that. Guess cause he was vanilla. Sorry man.
|
hey brit!
|
Hey, CF. :)
|
DV's vote on me does strike me as a Passacaglia type endofday vote. The kind where he fakes a late vote and apologizes just to save face. *shrug* pass did that constantly. Could be that.
CR seems to like me. But I think it is time to remind mauboy he is playing again. vote mauboy |
